Abstract

Oryctes rhinoceros larvae are one of the sources of cellulose and hemicellulose degrading bacteria. Nutrition and energy sources together, with environmental factors have significant impacts on cellulolytic bacteria growth. Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) media is a media often used to obtain cellulosic bacteria, while Nutrient Agar (NA) media is used for bacteria propagation. The use of NA for bacterial growth media is expensive. For the growth of O. rhinoceros symbiont cellulolytic bacteria, it is necessary to use alternative media that are cheap, easily available and contain sufficient nutrients to sustain bacterial growth. Soybeans, mackerel tuna, and jackfruit seeds contain high levels of protein and carbohydrate, which can be used as a nitrogen and carbon source for cellulolytic bacteria growth are easily available and cheap. This makes them excellent alternative for growth media materials. The aim of this research was to determine growth of symbiotic cellulolytic bacteria from O. rhinoceroson different alternative growth media. The research was conducted from January to May 2024 at the Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture and Microbiology Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Sumatera Utara. The experimental method used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors and 3 replications for each treatment combinations. The results showed that alternative growth media were suitable to sustain cellulolytic bacteria. The best treatment was mackerel tuna flour media with an average number of colonies of 100.5×106CFU/mL.

Abstract

Ekspor memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian suatu negara, termasuk Indonesia. Namun, nilai ekspor Indonesia khususnya yang berasal dari UMKM masih sangat rendah, terutama pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Dikethaui ekspor Indonesia pada tahun 2020 menurun dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Hal ini menjadi kajian penting bagi penulis sehingga akan menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dalam penulisan ini untuk menganalisis pemberdayaan UMKM terhadap peningkatan ekspor di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang menitikberatkan pada jenis deskriptif. Hasil dalam penulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk mengantisipasi mekanisme pasar yang semakin terbuka dan kompetitif dalam penguatan ekspor adalah penguasaan pasar yang merupakan prasyarat peningkatan daya saing UMKM. Untuk dapat memasuki pasar yang kompetitif maka UMKM membutuhkan informasi yang cepat dan akurat terkait pasar produksi maupun pasar faktor produksi dengan demikian UMKM akan memiliki lingkup pemasaran produk yang lebih luas. Pemberdayaan UMKM di masa pandemi Covid-19 salah satunya dapat dibantu dengan penggunaan teknologi informasi sehingga pasar UMKM menjadi lebih variatif dan lebih luas

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial transformation with HR competence on the financial quality of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Government SKPD based on the auditor's perception. This is studied by analyzing the influence of HR competence on the perception of the quality of financial reports produced by the financial report manager of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province SKPD. This research is an explanatory research. The population in this study were 50 people in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province. Financial auditors conduct employee assessments in finance and planning as SKPD financial report makers. Data analysis techniques using SEM. The results showed that based on the auditor's perception, knowledge had a significant effect on the perception of the quality of financial statements. Expertise has no significant effect on perceived quality of financial statements. Attitude has a significant effect on the perception of the quality of financial statements. Based on the results of the HR competency test consisting of knowledge and attitudes that affect the perception of the quality of the SKPD's financial reports. Meanwhile, expertise/skills have no significant effect on the perception of the quality of financial reports

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase public awareness regarding the dangers of online loans (Pinjol) and good financial management literacy. The method of implementing this community service used interactive counseling techniques. The target was 17 students of Jenderal Soedirman University. This activity consisted of 4 (four) stages which included initial analysis of needs, preparation, coordination of implementation, and evaluation of activities in the form of distributing questionnaires which are analyzed descriptively. The results of this service showed that any increase in knowledge and skills in using financial service providers for online loans (Pinjol), is especially illegal. The participants had been able to plan, control, manage, and save finances well and were able to prioritize their respective needs. Meanwhile, regarding financial literacy, the participants already have good basic financial knowledge, were quite familiar with the ins and outs of savings and loans and the dangers of illegal online loans, and were quite knowledgeable about the importance of insurance and healthy investment.

Abstract

AbstractOryctes rhinoceros L. has symbioses with micro organisms in their hind guts which further break down plant material consumed by beetle. The aim of this research is to determine the identification of the existence of the bacterial species in the hind gut larvae of the symbiotic bacteria using biochemical test and analysis based on 16S rRNA. The result of this research indicate that there were two different bacterials: Bacillus siamensis and Bacillus stratosphericus found. The bacteria was used for starting the composting and more specifically, the Bacillus siamensis can speed up composting with the end result at C/N 13.16.Keywords: Larvae O. rhinoceros L, Bacterial Symbionts, 16S rDNA, Composting

Abstract

Purpose - The purposive of study was to find out maqashid sharia performance measurement model in sharia banking.Method - This type of research was  qualitative descriptive research using a systematic literature review approach with primary data sources coming from ISSN or E-ISSN journal literature. Systematic literature review or structured article review is the process of identifying, assessing and interpreting all available research evidence with the aim of comparison, outcomes and providing answers to research questions.Result - Maqashid sharia measurement model mostly used at Islamic banking finance is the Sharia Maqashid Index (SMI). Maqashid sharia has the meaning of a goal that has been determined by the sharia for the ultimate benefit of human. Implication - Innovation of a strategic model to see and measure banking performance, therefore conventional banks and Islamic banks have different systems.Originality - This research combines sharia social performance and sharia financial performance into a performance measurement model.
