Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di lahan pertanian Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan (32 m dpl) pada bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2016. Metode percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu media tanam yakni tanah (M1), tanah : serbuk gergaji 2 : 1 (M2), tanah : sekam padi 2 : 1 (M3), dan tanah : sabut kelapa 2 : 1 (M4) dan pupuk organik cair (0; 5; 10; 15, 20 ml/l air). Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, total luas daun, volume akar, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering akar dan rasio bobot tajuk akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan media tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap peubah amatan total luas daun, bobot kering tajuk dan rasio bobot tajuk akar. Perlakuan media tanam terbaik terdapat pada tanah : sekam padi 2 : 1 (M3), Perlakuan pupuk organik cair berpengaruh nyata pada peubah amatan tinggi tanaman 6 – 12 MSPT, diameter batang 8 – 12 MSPT, total luas daun, volume akar, bobot kering tajuk dan bobot kering akar. Perlakuan pupuk organik cair terdapat pada 20 ml/l air (P4). Interaksi antara kedua perlakuan berpengaruh nyata terhadap peubah amatan rasio bobot tajuk akar.   Kata Kunci : kopi robusta, media tanam, pupuk organik cair,.

Abstract

The Influence of rainfall and rainy day on oil palm production 8, 16, and 19 Years Old in Sei Dadap  PTPN III Persero supervised byIrsaland Mariati.The climate like rainfall and rainy day is very influential to the growth and productivity of oil palm. The oil palm is a plant that requires large amounts of water than other crops. This research was to determine the effect of rainfall and rainy day as well as the correlation of both on oil palm production in plants aged 8, 16 and 19 years old. The research was conducted at PTPN III Sei Dadap Sub-district Sei Dadap District Asahan Province of North Sumatera from April up to June 2016. This research used primary data available in company administration. Primary data for the purposes of data analysis includes the production of fresh fruit bunches (FFB); component production data as total bunches, average bunches weight, and total of productive trees; rainfall data and rainy day monthly in 2011, 2012, and 2013. The analysis method used are double linier regression and correlation analysis. Model tested by classic asumption consists of normality test, heteroskedasticity test, multicollinearity, and autocorelations test by using statistic software SPSS.v.22 for windows. The regression analysis shows that rain fall and rainy day variables significant with alpha 5% (Sig < α 0.05) to increase the production of FFB at the age of 16 and 19 years and unsignificanted to increase the production of FFB at the age 8  years. This is because the rainfall is not evenly distributed throughout the year and less than optimal for the growth and production of FFB. From the results of the classical assumption test conducted to determine whether the multiple regression equation feasible or not to use the regression equation to conclude that the oil palms aged 8, 16, and 19 years are qualified. Correlation results in plants was 8, 16, and 19 years with two-way analysis test at 1% level showed variable rainfall and rainy days have a strong relation, and the real (positive) direction. The correlation values of rainfall and rainy days are 0.838 with significant level < α 0,01

Abstract

Air merupakan faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman.Ketersediaan air pada tanaman karet di lapangan sangat dipengaruhi oleh besarnya curah hujan.Jumlah air yang tidak sesuai dapat memberikan dampak negatif terhadap produktivitas karet.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh curah hujan dan hari hujan serta hubungan korelasi keduanya terhadapproduktifitas tanaman karet berumur 9, 13 dan 16 tahun. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Tanah Besih PT.Socfin indonesia di Kecamatan Tebing Syahbandar, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, pada bulan Januari 2017 sampai dengan selesai. Penelitian ini mengunakan data sekunder yang tersedia di administrasi kebun.Data sekunder untuk keperluan analisis meliputi data produktifitas lateks tahun 2013, 2014, dan 2015; data curah hujan dan data hari hujan bulanan tahun 2012, 2013 dan 2014.Metode analisis yang digunakan ialah analisis regresi linear berganda dan analisis korelasi. Model diujikelayakannya dengan uji asumsiklasik meliputi uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji multikolinearitas, serta uji autokorelasi dengan menggunakan alat bantu statistik SPSS.v.22 for windows. Dari uji asumsi klasik yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan persamaaan regresi linear berganda, disimpulkan bahwa persamaan regresi pada tanaman karet umur 9, 13, dan 16 tahun telah memenuhi syarat. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel curah hujan dan hari hujan secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap peningkatan produktifitas lateks pada tanaman karet pada umur 9, 13 dan 16 tahun. Kata kunci : curah hujan, hari hujan, produktifitas lateks.

Abstract

One of determining factors of water supply for rubber plants are rain fall and rain day. Water supply for rubber in field is obtained from rainfall. The amount of water that doesn’t consistent give negative impact to the productivity of rubber. This research was to determine the effect of rainfall and rain day as well as the correlation of both on rubber production in plants aged 13, 16, 19 years. This research is done in Sei Baleh Estate PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Lima Puluh District Batubara Province of Sumatera Utara from October to Desember 2016. This reasearch used primary data available in company administration. Primary data for the purposes of data analysis includes latex production in 2010, 2011, and 2012; rainfall data and rain day monthly in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Analysis method used are double linier regression and correlation analysis. Model tested by classic asumption consists of normality test, heteroskedasticity test, multicollinearity, and autocorellations test by using statistic software SPSS.v.17 for windows. The regression analysis shows that rainfall and rain day variables don’t have significant influence to increased latex production of rubber plants aged 13 years and have significant influence to increased latex production of rubber plants aged 16 and 19 years . Rainfall and rain day affect latex production 14,2%; 99,8%; dan 99,9% of rubber plants aged 13, 16, 19  years. The correlation result in plants aged 13, 16, 19 years showed variable rainfall and rain day have a strong relationship (0,926)  against the latex production.
