Abstract

Abstract. Information Management System of Cokroaminoto Palopo University (SIMUNCP) is a web application implemented on a Local Area Network (LAN). SIMUNCP uses MySQL as its database. The data is moved from the old database as a source to postgreeSQL as a target by migration. The migration is done because of lack of features on the old database that uses MySQL could not meet the needs of the organization. Before the migration, the first process is performed to evaluate the existing errors in the old database and the evaluation results are then used as a reference to design the new database. After the data migration is done the next process is measuring the quality of data on the new database. The quality of the data measured is an aspect of accuracy and nonduplicate aspect. Once that is done the next is to do is optimizing the query, Optimized query is a query that exists in the source code of application SIMUNCP.Keywords: Migration, Database, Optimization Abstrak. Sistem Informasi Manajemen Univeritas Cokroaminoto Palopo (SIMUNCP) merupakan aplikasi web yang diimplementasikan pada jaringan Local Area Network (LAN). SIMUNCP menggunakan MySQL sebagai basis datanya. Migrasi dilakukan dengan memindahkan data dari basis data lama yang menjadi sumber ke basis data postgreSQL sebagai basis data baru menjadi, hal ini dikarenakan minimnya fitur pada basis data lama yang menggunakan MySQL sehingga tidak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan organisasi. Sebelum dilakukan migrasi, yang dilakukan adalah mengevaluasi kesalahankesalahan yang ada pada basis data lama dan hasil evaluasi tersebut kemudian dijadikan acuan untuk merancang basis data baru. setelah migrasi data dilakukan selanjutnya adalah melakukan pengukuran kualitas data pada basis data baru, kualitas data yang diukur adalah aspek akurasi dan aspek nonduplikat, setelah itu dilakukan optimasi query, dimana query-query yang dioptimasi adalah query-query yang ada pada source code aplikasi SIMUNCP. Kata Kunci: Migrasi, Basis data, Optimalisasi.

Abstract

Software testing is a crucial stage in the development of information systems to ensure that applications can function according to user needs. System feasibility testing using UAT is intended to ensure that the system meets the functional requirements specified by the users. This study aims to apply UAT to a financial and inventory management information system used to manage various operational needs of the company, such as inventory recording, expense and income reporting, and employee wages. The UAT process is conducted by the system’s end-users, consisting of 16 respondents, including employees and the owner of CV. Nitah Tirta Makassar. The testing methodology includes several stages: UAT planning, preparing test questions through a Google Forms (gforms) questionnaire, conducting the tests, and analyzing the test result calculations. The results of this study indicate that the financial and inventory management information system meets user needs, based on UAT questionnaire score calculations that achieved an average interpretation score above 87% with a "very good" rating. With the implementation of UAT, it can be concluded that the financial and inventory management information system meets the users' requirements.

Abstract

Ada beberapa metode pengarasipan diantaranya adalah dengan menyimpan fisik dokumen dan beberapa juga disimpan dalam bentuk file. Metode pengarsipan penyimpanan dokumen fisik memang dianggap cukup mudah, karena prosesnya hanya mencatat dan menyimpan dokumen namun ada banyak masalah yang timbul dengan metode tersebut diantaranya adalah pencarian dokumen yang membutuhkan waktu lama. Metode tersebut kemudian digantikan dengan menyimpan dokumen dalam bentuk digital, proses pengarsipan dokumen secara digital ini dilakukan dengan mencatat kemudian dilakukan pemindaian (scan) dan disimpan dalam bentuk file dan dimasukkan kedalam hardrive komputer. Kelemahan dari metode ini adalah tidak adanya pembatasan akses terhadap dokumen, selain itu adanya kemungkinan media penyimpanan berupa harddrive bisa saja rusak atau terformat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development, penulis mengembangkan sebuah sistem pengarsipan kemudian menguji kulitas sistem tersebut dengan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai skor SUS yang didapatkan adalah sebesar 74 yang berarti sistem dapat diterima dengan baik.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of seminar exam scheduling at UIN Alauddin Makassar through the development of the DZIKR (Exam Schedule Notification System) application. The problem addressed is the lack of coordination and the potential for miscommunication arising from the manual process of disseminating schedules to lecturers. As a solution, this study developed a web-based exam reminder system integrated with a WhatsApp chatbot to deliver real-time notifications. The methodology involved system development and quantitative analysis to measure its impact. The findings show that the implementation of the DZIKR system significantly improved scheduling efficiency, achieving a rate of 94.5%. However, its effectiveness was recorded at a lower rate of 5.36%. This discrepancy is attributed to the passive nature of the notifications, as the system functions only as a one-way information dispatcher without requiring further user interaction. Nevertheless, it is concluded that the DZIKR system serves as an effective reminder tool that enhances lecturers' awareness of the established schedules. The system has proven successful in addressing the efficiency issue; however, further development is required to incorporate interactive features to boost its overall effectiveness.

Abstract

Improving access to higher education through the KIP-Kuliah scholarship program faces challenges in the selection process, particularly in determining recipients efficiently and objectively amid evolving policies and socioeconomic conditions. At UIN Alauddin Makassar, the selection process for 2,380 applicants in 2024 resulted in a heavy administrative burden on the Student Affairs Bureau, with final decisions made at the rectorate level. This study aims to develop a decision support system based on the Naive Bayes algorithm to assist in the computerized classification of scholarship eligibility. The model was trained using 350 data entries and tested on 150 entries, achieving an accuracy rate of 96.67%, indicating strong classification performance. The confusion matrix showed 145 correct predictions out of 150 test data, with precision, recall, and F1-score values all above 0.95. The system facilitates automated data management and eligibility prediction, reducing process complexity and accelerating decision-making. Black-box testing confirmed that the system functions according to specifications, suggesting that the implementation of the Naive Bayes algorithm can enhance the scholarship selection process to be more accurate, efficient, and fair—particularly for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Abstract

Nabila Dental Clinic is a dental health service provider that previously implemented a conventional queuing system, where patients had to come directly to take the queue number and come back at different times to undergo the examination. This system poses various problems, such as wasting time, additional costs, patient discomfort, and inefficiencies in services. This research aims to design and implement a web-based queuing information system to overcome these problems. The system is built using the First Come First Served (FCFS) algorithm that prioritizes fairness and simplicity in queue distribution, as well as the Rapid Application Development (RAD) software development method that emphasizes speed and user engagement through the stages of needs analysis, design, prototyping, and system testing. Data collection techniques include direct observation in the field, interviews with related parties, and literature studies to support the design of the system. The results of the study show that the web-based queue information system is able to provide real solutions to the problems faced by Nabila Dental Clinic. The online queue number collection feature allows patients to make queue bookings without having to come in person, reducing waiting times and improving service efficiency. The system test with the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method obtained a user acceptance rate of 84.34%, while the system efficiency aspect scored 4.51 on a scale of 5, which indicates that the system is classified as very efficient. In addition to technical aspects, this system also reflects Islamic values such as justice and convenience in health services. Thus, the implementation of this system is expected to be a strategic step towards the digitization of services that are sustainable, efficient, and oriented towards patient satisfaction at Nabila Dental Clinic.
