Abstract

Faktor pencahayaan yang kurang saat suatu citra diakuisisi membuat citra menjadi gelap. Untuk memperbaiki tingkat kecerahan kontras citra, beberapa metode telah dilakukan seperti Fast Hue and Range Preserving Histogram Equalization Specification yang meliputi Algoritma Naik and Murthy, algoritma Optimal Range-Preserving Enhancement, algoritma Multiplicative Color Enhancement dan algoritma Additive Color Enhancement. Pada tahap awal dilakukan proses perataan histogram (Histogram Equalization (HE)). Namun dari beberapa referensi belum dapat ditentukan algoritma yang lebih baik dalam proses peningkatan kontras tersebut. Skenario pengujian dilakukan dengan menurunkan nilai lightness dari suatu citra, memproses citra gelap dengan algoritma yang dibahas, dan mengukur perbedaan citra hasil algoritma dengan citra asli menggunakan Structural Similarity Index (SSIM). ??? Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa ??? nilai SSIM tertinggi didapatkan dengan menggunakan algoritma Optimal Range-Preserving Enhancement dan algoritma Multiplicative Color Enhancement. Pada algoritma Optimal Range-Preserving Algorithm, nilai SSIM tertinggi diperoleh dengan menggunakan nilai Lamda (???») di atas 0.6.

Abstract

Most of recommender systems are based on content can be helpful to find recommendation book suitable for reader but it only consider about a liked book by user without considered about the disliked one. For solving the problem, a recommendation based on content of liked and dislike book by user is done. In this research, we applied Binary Particle Swarm Optimization(BPSO) to select feature from book that the reader like and K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN) are use for classify book data which had the closest distance to the book that the reader liked and disliked. Testing the accuracy of the recommendations is done by comparing the results of recommendations in the book data that do not apply feature selection with book data that applies selective features to test the effect of application of feature selection on book recommendations. The result of book recommendation accuracy testing with feature selection give a better recommendation for user than recommendation without feature selection.

Abstract

The lack of ability of the students of SMA Dharma Bakti Lubuk Pakam in mastering computers, especially the programming field, is a significant challenge in preparing them for the digital era. In the industrial era 4.0, mastering programming skills is essential, especially the Python programming language which is widely used in data analysis, artificial intelligence, and application development. To overcome this problem, Mikroskil University organized an introduction to Python programming training through Community Service activities. The training covered both theory and hands-on practice to build a better understanding. To measure the success of the training, the pre-test and post-test were conducted as well as a quiz-based evaluation. The training results showed a significant increase in students' understanding level of 85.42%. The results of the evaluation of the level of mastery of the training material showed that 26.67% of students mastered the material well, and 16.66% of students moderately mastered the material. However, 56.67% of the students still lacked mastery of the material due to the limited duration of the training and limited experience in programming. Overall, this training succeeded in improving digital literacy for students while supporting technological transformation in the school environment. To improve the effectiveness of the training, a longer training duration and more interactive learning methods are recommended. It is also recommended that similar training be extended to other schools to improve the programming skills of the younger generation and their readiness to face the challenges of the digital industry.

Abstract

Online learning is a distance learning process through the use of technology that must be done during a pandemic. The ability and skills to use information and communication technology applications are important things that must be possessed by students to be able to follow the learning process well. One of the applications in the field of information and communication technology that has features to support the online learning process is Microsoft Office 365. This application can make it easy for students to collaborate, communicate, share learning documents and view the learning outcomes that have been done. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the participants had never used Microsoft Office 365 as an online learning medium so they did not have the ability and good skills to utilize the application. To overcome this problem, in this service activity, training on the use of Microsoft Office 365 applications will be carried out in the form of workshops for 2 times and followed by task assignment activities and asynchronous task monitoring on the Microsoft Teams channel that has been determined. Then an evaluation process was carried out by giving pre-test and post-test questions when the training activities were carried out. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, it was found that after the training was completed there was an increase in participants' understanding of the use of Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Stream, Microsoft Office online.
