Abstract

One-dimensional wave problem research has been done based on numerical computation reviews. The one-dimensional wave equation has been completed using the finite difference method. Results of completion based on the results of numerical computation reviews are simulated using MATLAB programming software. The simulation suggests that numerical computation is reliable for solving mathematical equations.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara hasil belajar kelas eksperimen (metode Everyone Is A Teacher Here) dan kelas kontrol (metode konvensional). Selain itu, penelitian ini juga ditujukan untuk mengukur signifikansi hasil belajar dengan uji statistik antara kelas eksperimen (metode Everyone Is A Teacher Here) dan kelas kontrol (metode konvensional). Seluruh siswa kelas X MAN 2 Mataram yang berjumlah 228 orang yang terbagi dalam 6 kelas yaitu kelas X2 sampai X7 menjadi populasinya, sedangkan sampel penelitian diambil secara random sampling, terdiri dari dua kelas antara lain kelas experimen (X5) yang siswanya berjumlah 37 orang dan kelas kontrol (X4) yang berjumlah 37 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen design (rancangan eksperimen semu) dengan jenis rancangan Posttest Only Control Design. Berdasarkan hasil tes akhir menunjukan rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,62 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 73,81. Hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung  sebesar 3,137 lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1,960, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kelas eksperimen (metode Everyone Is A Teacher Here) dan kelas kontrol (metode konversional).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan GeoGebra pada materi luas permukaan kubus dan balok untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial dan mengetahui kualitas media yang dikembangkan.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE. Media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan GeoGebra untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial siswa SMP kelas VIII dikembangkan mengikuti model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu: a) analysis: analisis kebutuhan yang mana menunjukan masih terbatasnya media pembelajaran, dan siswa belum dilibatkan secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, analisis teknologi GeoGebra digunakan sebagai software utama, dan analisis kurikulum sesuai dengan KTSP; b) design: pengumpulan refrensi, perancangan isi materi sesuai dengan aspek spasial dan flowchart untuk mempermudah pembuatan media pembelajaran; c)  development: pembuatan media pembelajaran, dan merevisi produk tahap I berdasarkan masukan validator; d) implemtation: uji coba untuk memperoleh keefektifan penggunaan media; e) evaluation: menganalisis keefektifan media pembelajaran. Objek penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan GeoGebra untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar pengembangan media, lembar keefektifan media dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil analisis pengembangang media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah: a) kevalidan dengan kriteria sangat valid dan valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi dengan skor masing-masing 81,05 dan 74,57. b) keefektifan dengan kriteria efektif berdasarkan penilaian siswa dengan skor 80,83 dan tes hasil belajar dengan persentase 62,91%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran telah memenuhi kualitas valid dan efektif, serta dapat layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

The lesson plan plays an important role in the achievement of learning objectives. This paper aimed to describe the effect of lesson plan role play on changes in teacher understanding regarding the process of mathematics lesson plan writing using the ELPSA framework. The method used was descriptive qualitative. 13 West Nusa Tenggara math teachers were involved through filling out questionnaires about the lesson plan writing habits among teachers, the usefulness of role-playing, and the impact on the lesson plan improvement process they designed. Results showed that the lesson plan role play was able to change the teacher's understanding, particularly on the importance of clear and communicative lesson designs as well as the sequential and anticipatory learning scenarios included. This change in teachers' understanding also has an impact on the awareness of teachers to improve their draft lesson plan in terms of integrated learning indicators, sequentialness, and the content quality of learning activities and clarity of teaching notes that allow the lesson plan to be more explicit and applicable. Overall, it can be concluded that more than 95% of the teacher respondents stated that role play had a positive influence in the form of a willingness to re-reflect and reconstruct each lesson plan. In general, they gain knowledge and awareness about how to build a good lesson plans so that they have the potential to create activities and an atmosphere of teaching and learning that are interactive, focused, and pay attention to what students already know.

Abstract

Short Message Service (SMS) is a technology for sending messages in text format between two mobile phones that support such a facility. Despite the emergence of many mobile text messaging applications, SMS still finds its use in communication among people and broadcasting messages by governments and mobile providers. SMS users often receive messages from parties, particularly for marketing and business purposes, advertisements, or elements of fraud. Many of those messages are irrelevant and fraudulent spam. This research aims at developing android-based applications that enable the filtering of SMS in Bahasa Indonesia. We investigate 1469 SMS text data and classify them into three categories: Normal, Fraudulent, and Advertisement. The classification or filtering method is the long short-term memory (LSTM) model from TensorFlow. The LSTM model is suitable because it has cell states in the architecture that are useful for storing previous information. The feature is applicable for use on sequential data such as SMS texts because every word in the texts constructs a sequential form to complete a sentence. The observation results show that the classification accuracy level is 95%. This model is then integrated into an Android-based mobile application to execute a real-time classification.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the extent to which the concept of fractions is presented in learning video content on four channels in Indonesia including the Le Guru Les, Sigma Smart Study, Math Class Ku, and Pras Academy channels. This study uses a qualitative research approach using content analysis methods. Data were collected through analysis activities on four aspects, namely content aspects, presentation aspects, graphic aspects, and language aspects which contained several indicators in each of these aspects. The results of the study indicate that the Math Class Ku channel can help with learning difficulties in mathematics with fractions because it starts from the content aspect that meets the basic competencies (KD) of the 2013 curriculum so that the learning objectives for fractions material in class VII SMP are achieved, although there are still sub-chapters that have not been discussed. In addition, the presentation and graphic aspects consist of various kinds of attractions in the form of interactive stimuli, pictures, and illustrations in helping students understand fractional material and only two non-standard words were found. The second order of the Sigma Smart Study channels from the aspect of content there is still a KD that is not fulfilled but contains several pictures and illustrations of fractions, but there are clipped sounds and the use of some words is not standard. The third order of the Pras Academy channels from the aspect of content has fulfilled the KD but is more towards solving sample questions and using several solutions. The background of this channel is still monotonous because it lacks the use of attractiveness and there are sentences that are not effective in helping students understand the fraction material. And the fourth channel is Le Guru Les, which fulfills the KD but has not been detailed in discussing the basic concepts of fractions and still really needs interactive stimuli, pictures and illustrations and there are still some ineffective use of words and sentences in helping students understand fraction material.
