Abstract

Delivery using the caesarean section method is one of the JKN-KIS services which has experienced a significant increase in cases from year to year at Graha Sehat Probolinggo Hospital. The general tariff applied by the hospital is IDR 10,800,000, which is 206.15%, far above the INA CBGs tariff of IDR 5,238,800, making the hospital feel the need to carry out descriptive quantitative research using the ABC method and DD method. Then the unit cost results of the ABC method are compared with the INA-CBGs rates. The results of this research show that the unit cost of the ABC method is IDR 5,484,214, which is IDR 245,414 (4.68%) greater than the INA-CBGs tariff. The potential efficiency that can be achieved results in savings of IDR 665,295 so it is hoped that the unit cost of the ABC method will be IDR 4,818,919. IDR 419,881 (8.01%) smaller than the INA-CBGs tariff. The conclusion is that there is a negative difference between the unit costs of the ABC method and the DD method and the INA CBGs rates. Hospitals should submit a tariff review to BPJS, including a review of the provision of separate tariffs for baby handling costs. Apart from that, hospitals also need to make efficiencies by reducing length of stay, reviewing medical services, efficiency in laundry units and CSSD, speeding up RME, as well as efficiency in several other resources while still prioritizing patient safety

Abstract

The transformation of medical services in Indonesia from a disease-centered model to a patient-centered model has created intense competition among medical institutions. At one of the Maternal and Child Hospitals in Jakarta, a decline in visits from Non-BPJS patients indicates the need for a deeper understanding of the factors influencing patients' intentions to revisit. This study aims to analyze the influence of patient involvement and patient experience on the intention to revisit the hospital, with the mediation of the hospital's brand image. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used in this study. Data were collected through questionnaires from 119 Non-BPJS patients in the Outpatient Unit. Data analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM with the Smart-PLS program. The results showed that patient involvement and patient experience significantly influenced the intention to revisit, with the hospital's brand image serving as a strong mediator. Enhancing patient involvement, positive experiences, and a strong brand image can significantly increase patients' intention to return to the Maternal and Child Hospital in Jakarta.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the health sector is an urgent need, especially with the increasing demands for efficiency, accuracy, and security in managing medical information. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived ease and perceived usefulness on the intention to use Electronic Medical Records (EMR) with digital literacy knowledge as an intervening variable in outpatient nurses at Koja Regional Hospital. The research method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 104 nurses selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire using a 4-point Likert scale, covering the variables of perceived ease, perceived usefulness, digital literacy knowledge, and intention to use EMR. Data analysis was carried out using Lisrel software. Most of the subjects were female 82.7%, an average age of 41-50 years 40.4%, NERS education 52.9%, and work experience> 10 years 61.5%. Perceived ease and perceived usefulness have a positive and significant effect on the intention to use EMR. Digital literacy knowledge acts as an intervening variable that strengthens the relationship between perceived ease and usefulness on the intention to use. Thus, hospitals need to create a supportive work environment, by providing ongoing training and encouraging a collaborative culture in using new technologies in an effort to improve RME usage skills.

Abstract

Work environment and career development are crucial factors influencing turnover intention among nurses. Coaching can act as an intervening variable that strengthens the relationship between these factors and turnover intention. This study aims to explore the influence of work environment and career development on turnover intention, with coaching as an intervening variable at Eka Hospital Bekasi. Methods: This research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 110 nurses at Eka Hospital Bekasi. Data analysis was conducted using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses to understand the relationships between variables. Results: The results showed that work environment and career development have a significant influence on turnover intention. Coaching has a positive impact on reducing turnover intention, although its effect is smaller compared to the direct influence of work environment and career development on turnover intention. Conclusion: Work environment and career development are important factors influencing turnover intention, with coaching serving as an intervening variable that can reduce nurses' intention to leave. However, more effective coaching implementation is needed to optimize its impact on turnover intention. Recommendation: Eka Hospital Bekasi should enhance the quality of its work environment and career development, and ensure the effective implementation of coaching to reduce turnover intention among nurses

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of building an effective patient safety culture in the hospital environment, which can be influenced by factors such as clinical leadership and work engagement. This study aims to analyze the effect of Clinical Leadership and Work Engagement on patient safety culture mediated by Interprofessional Collaboration of nurses at Emhaka Hospital. The research design used was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 118 nurses selected using purposive sampling techniques and calculated using saturated side. Data were collected through a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire, which included the variables of Clinical Leadership, Work Engagement, Interprofessional Collaboration, and Patient Safety Culture. Data analysis was performed using SEMP-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares) software. The results showed that Clinical Leadership and Work Engagement had a significant effect on Patient Safety Culture, both directly and through the mediation of Interprofessional Collaboration. These findings emphasize the importance of improving clinical leadership and nurse involvement in improving interprofessional collaboration, which in turn can strengthen patient safety culture at Emhaka Hospital. This study contributes to the development of hospital policies that focus on improving patient safety through effective leadership and increasing nurse work engagement.
