Abstract

The research is purposed to know how motivational factors consisting of salary and social security, career expectation, managerial role, employee competence, work type, job equipment, work environment, and company policy—influence employee performance at a telecommunication company in West Java. The research is a survey one to generate scientific information using explanatory research. Data of the research is analyzed with a simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Besides, the research experiences t-test, F-test, correlation coefficient, and determination coefficient calculated with an SPSS Version 12 program. Results of the research indicate that motivational factors have, both individually and collectively, significant influences on employee performance, with employee competence being the most dominant factor influencing employee performance at a telecommunication company in West Java. Keywords       : Motivation, performance, competition

Abstract

Conceptually the goal to be achieved in this research is to develop encouraging economic growth in Purworejo Regency, one way to achieve this is by developing local MSME businesses to be able to compete in the global market. In an effort to improve the economy through MSME businesses, the researchers used the perspective of preparing strategic planning for the development of Local MSMEs with Global Competitiveness Based on SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) Analysis in Purworejo Regency in an effort to improve entrepreneurial performance. SOAR analysis allows an organization to examine all its levels and functional areas. In addition, SOAR analysis also focuses on improving tactics and strategies that are being carried out, to overcome existing weaknesses and threats so that they can be used as a basis for developing strategic mapping and the formulation of KPI measurements to developing strategic initiatives that affect the potential for successful entrepreneurship of MSMEs in Purworejo Regency. The research method uses a population of all micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) registered in Purworejo Regency by taking random and representative research samples by considering several research variables. The data collection procedure used primary data, namely interviews and direct observations, while secondary data were books, journals, and other literature related to the research topic. To analyze the problem of strategic issues using the ASTRID method (Actual, Specific, Transforming, Relevant, Innovative, Can be done). In-depth analysis is carried out using SOAR analysis tools and Leavit's Model, because these analytical tools can describe conditions and problems as well as existing conditions, namely Structure, Technology, People and Task Analysis.

Abstract

The world of work demands Human Resources to work with speed and accuracy, and consider efficiency in all areas of work to increase productivity. Every employee has a different work spirit. The company has its own goals, both companies engaged in services or goods. For this reason, companies need to develop and manage their human resources. This study aims to review the impact given by doing Job Rotation both positive and negative impacts and to analyze how much work motivation affects employee work productivity. Job rotation and work motivation occur because there is a turnaround, or the emergence of changes in other job positions between two or more parties.

Abstract

Salah satu langkah strategis dalam rangka mengatasi masalah ketimpangan ekonomi dan kesenjangan sosial yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menumbuhkembangkan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM). Keberadaan usaha kecil menengah tersebut diyakini mampu menjadi penahan runtuhnya kemampuan ekonomi Indonesia sejak terjadinya badai krisis ekonomi dan diberlakukannya percepatan liberalisasi perdagangan dunia di Indonesia. Keberhasilan UKM dalam persaingan global saat ini menjadi tolok ukur kemapanan system ekonomi yang berbasis pada ekonomi rakyat. Demi menunjang keberhasilan UKM yang dinilai dari kinerja keuangan maupun non keuangan, maka sangatlah penting untuk memperhatikan faktor penunjang yang diyakini mampu mendongkrak kesuksesan usaha kecil menengah, yaitu orientasi kewirausahaan dan strategi bisnis perusahaan. Orientasi kewirausahaan merupakan kemampuan kreatif dan inovatif yang dijadikan dasar, kiat dan sumber daya untuk mencari peluang menuju kesuksesan. Sedangkan strategi bisnis merupakan kemampuan perusahaan dalam merumuskan strategi, pelaksanaan rencana-rencana yang dirancang untuk mencapai sasaran- sasaran perusahaan, serta melakukan evaluasi untuk mendapatkan umpan balik dalam merumuskan strategi yang akan datang. Strategi bisnis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cost leadership, marketing differentiation dan innovative differentiation. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah berupaya menganalisis hubungan antara orientasi kewirausahaan dan strategi bisnis terhadap kinerja UKM. UKM yang terpilih sebagai sampel adalah pedagang kaki lima bidang kuliner di Semarang. Alasan pemilihan sampel UKM tersebut adalah karena tingginya persaingan bisnis sehingga menyebabkan tingginya ketidakpastian di bidang kuliner serta minimnya pengetahuan bisnis yang dimiliki pedagang kaki lima. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa sejauh mana orientasi kewirausahaan dan strategi bisnis dapat berperan dalam peningkatan kinerja para pedagang kaki lima. Dengan mengetahui pentingnya peran orientasi kewirausahaan dan strategi bisnis untuk kalangan UKM, diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan pemahaman yang memadai tentang hal tersebut dalam rangka peningkatan kinerja UKM di era persaingan yang semakin ketat dewasa ini. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orientasi kewirausahaan UKM dan strategi bisnis cost leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Namun untuk hubungan antara orientasi kewirausahaan dan strategi marketing differentiation dan innovative differentiation terbukti tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Abstract

Integrity in the business world is a crucial aspect in maintaining the sustainability and success of a company amidst increasing competition and the ever-changing dynamics of the market. This research aims to delve deeper into the strategies that companies can implement to build integrity as a foundation for enhancing their productivity and performance. The study is conducted through a literature review method. The study results indicate that a company's success based on integrity has a positive impact on the trust of stakeholders. Companies recognized for high integrity tend to gain the trust of customers, business partners, employees, and investors. Conversely, ethical violations or dishonesty can damage reputation and cause serious impacts on financial performance and brand image. In facing the complexity of modern business, strategies for building integrity involve ethical leadership as an example, the establishment of an integrity-based organizational culture, supervision and monitoring systems, ethics education and training, technology implementation, transparency, accountability, as well as continuous assessment and improvement. Integrity, productivity, and company performance are closely intertwined, forming a solid foundation for organizational sustainability and success. By understanding strategies for building integrity, it is hoped that companies can optimize their integrity, create a competitive advantage, and ultimately enhance overall productivity and performance. This research provides a comprehensive perspective for business stakeholders, researchers, and practitioners in the context of building integrity in an ever-changing business era.

Abstract

Konsep integritas ini sangat penting dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk dalam profesi pendidikan kejuruan, karena dapat membangun citra yang baik untuk profesi pendidik dan memotivasi siswa untuk memilih dan mengembangkan karir di bidang kejuruan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pola  ntegritas dalam meningkatkan Komitmen Organisasi terhadap OCB.Metode penelitian yang digunakan berjenis literatur review dan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Selanjunya, tenik analisis yang digunakan yaitu mengikuti model Miles and Hubberman. Hasil penelitian literature review yaitu integritas memainkan peran yang penting dalam meningkatkan komitmen organisasi terhadap OCB dalam konteks pendidikan. Nilai-nilai integritas yang kuat menciptakan fondasi yang kuat untuk membangun komitmen individu terhadap institusi pendidikan. Integritas juga mendorong perkembangan komitmen terhadap OCB dengan menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung dan memotivasi individu untuk berpartisipasi aktif. Selain itu, integritas juga berkontribusi pada citra dan reputasi lembaga pendidikan, menciptakan iklim yang kondusif bagi perkembangan komitmen organisasi terhadap OCB. Secara keseluruhan, integritas memiliki dampak positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang sehat, mendorong partisipasi sukarela, dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dalam rangka mencapai tujuan bersama

Abstract

Human resources management encompasses all individuals involved in organizational activities, ranging from employees to managers and leaders. These individuals not only contribute physical labor but also provide valuable input in the form of thoughts, creativity, and innovation crucial for the progress and success of the organization. A strong organizational culture and high discipline can have a positive impact on organizational activities. Additionally, organizational support is essential in managing human resources to provide motivation and encouragement for the advancement of both employees and the organization. This research method employs statistical analysis using path analysis. The sample consists of 40 respondents. The research findings reveal that organizational culture and work discipline have a significant direct influence on employee performance, while the indirect influence through organizational support is not statistically proven.

Abstract

Investment activities in the capital market are increasingly popular among various groups, including students (santri) at Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren). However, understanding of stock investment remains limited among these students. To address this need, we organized a community service activity in the form of a stock investment consultation clinic at Monash Institute Islamic Boarding School. The aim of this activity is to provide an understanding of stock investment, improve financial literacy, and help students apply safe and effective investment strategies. This activity involves training, discussions, and direct consultations with investment experts. The results of the activity showed an increase in the students' knowledge of financial literacy and their awareness of investment in the capital market
