Abstract

This study entitled " Business Analysis of Broiler Chicken FarmWith Partnership System In Limbangan Kendal District." This study aims toknow how the pattern - pattern of broiler partnership in District Limbanganand how much it costs, revenues, earnings, and profits from farming ofbroiler chickens with partnerships system and feasibility level of businessfarm with partnerships system that can later be used as a reference for thepeople doing business broiler chicken Farm. To know the pattern - patternof broiler partnership in District Limbangan using analysis methodsapproach the existing partnership and to know the feasibility level ofbusiness farm using gross benefit cost ratio (gross B/C), BEP andproductivity costs. Determining the location of this study purposively withthe reasons in the two villages was the most total population of broilers(broiler) are farmed by people in the Region District Limbangan order toproperly represent the village which has a smaller population. For samplingrespondents was conducted using census (census sampling). About 25farmers from a total of 25 farmers that can later be represented inLimbangan Kendal District. The results showed that PIR partnership patternused by breeders because it is very beneficial because these patterns is thecore company as foster father that supplies sapronak, coaching in businessmanagement to marketing. Average area of cage 850.72 m2 with chickenpopulations 7240 tail derived income of Rp. 21,841,960, - and an averageprofit of Rp. 17.365.713,-. Viewed from the BEP business farm of broilerchickens has a value of 8.375 which means that in a population of 8.375farmers benefited and suffered no losses. While the productivity of capitalobtained a value of 13.12% / season, this value is high than the capitalinterest 0,208 /month, so in terms of capital productivity of broiler chickensworth conducting.Keywords: Analysis, Business farm of Broiler Chickens, Feasibility,Partnership.

Abstract

Usaha Kecil dan Menengah merupakan kegiatan usaha yang  banyak diminati setelah terjadinya krisis ekonomi yang berdampak pada PHK pada perusahaan-perusahaan besar. Dukungan sektor UKM memberikan peluang kesempatan kerja bagi yang tidak tertampung di dunia kerja pemerintahan  maupun perusahaan-perusahaan menengah dan besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil UKM di Indonesia, kesempatan kerja yang diberikan pada kegiatan UKM, Sumbangan UKM terhadap PDB. Dalam penulisan ini  menggunakan metode deskriptif, melakukan analisisnya hanya sampai pada taraf deskriptif, yaitu menganalisis dan menyajikan fakta secara sistematis sehingga dapat lebih mudah untuk dipahami dan disimpulkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah  : dilihat dari profil UKM, jumlah UKM  yang paling  banyak bergerak pada bidang perdagangan  dan paling sedikit bergerak pada bidang listrik dan air bersih; Jumlah Pengusaha UKM baik laki-laki dan perempuan  yang pendidikannya SD, yaitu sebanyak 7.597.595 orang,  paling sedikit Diploma III, yaitu sebanyak 252.049  orang, secara total jumlah pengusaha laki-laki dan perempuan adalah sebanyak 22.513.552 orang; Sumbangan UKM dalam menyerap tenaga kerja sebanyak 43.911,721 orang, paling banyak pada bidang perdagangan dan paling sedikit pada bidang listrik dan air minum;  Sumbangan  UKM  dalam Produk Domestrik Broto sebesar Rp.1.648.555.770.662,-. Kata Kunci: UKM, Profil, Sumbangan.

Abstract

Consumer buy product and service to fulfill their needs. Need is natural, while pretension is unnatural need. The objective of this research is to find out the consumers preference towards watermelon in Semarang, the factors that influence the consumers in choosing watermelons in Semarang, the alternative fruit that replace watermelon, and kinds of watermelons mostly sold in Semarang. Research method used is descriptive method, the technique of location and respondents sampling use purposive sampling with the locations are on three main markets in Semarang and there are 90 respondents. Kind of data and data resources used are primary and secondary data by interviews and questionnaires as the data collection method. The primary and secondary data in this research are analyzed with tabulation and percentage analysis technique. This research has been conducted on July  – August 2008. The result of this research shows that watermelon has not become the most preferred fruit for Semarang consumers, in choosing watermelon, the consumers have preferences in the taste and seedless. However, the alternative fruit chosen by the consumers is orange. And, preferred watermelon in Semarang is as follows: weight of 2 – 4 kg, red fleshed, and seedless. Abstract

Agribisnis merupakan suatu system yang terdiri dari sub system,  dari mulai pengadaan sarana produksi sampai pemasaran hasil olahan. Jenis usaha dalam bidang agribisnis juga sangat beragam dan ukurannya juga bervariatif. Dari kondisi ini mengakibatkan banyak lembaga yang terlibat untuk menagani. Dukungan kelembagaan agribisnis ini sangat dibutuhkan dan kemajuan agribisnis sangat dipengaruhi oleh peran serta lembaga pendukung.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran kelembagaan  agribisnis  agar dapat mendorong keberhasilan agribisnis. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana aspek kelembagaannya ditinjau dari social ekonomi kelembagaan tersebut, baik aspek social ekonomi pelaku agribisnis, penerapan pola PIR dalam pengembangan agribisnis dan kebijakan pemasaran.  Hasil dan kesimpulannya adalah ada banyak lembaga yang terlibat dalam agribisnis. Untuk mengerakkan dan memajukan agribisni semua lembaga harus berperan secara aktif sinergis dan saling terkoordinasi agar tidak terjadi tumpang tindih kepentingan dan efisiensi dapat dicapai.  Pelaku agribisnis juga ada beberapa bila dikelompokkan ada tiga yaitu BUMN, Swasta, dan Koperasi. Ukuran pelaku agribisnis juga beragam ada yang kuat ada yang lemah. Sehingga untuk medorong agribisnis berkembang berkelanjutan, produktif dan efisien maka semua pelaku agribisnis haru ada pranata dalam menagani kegiatan agribisnis. Etika moral dan tujuan jangka panjang yang harus diutamakan untuk agribisnis yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Alfalfa merupakan suatu komoditas tanaman legume yang mempunyai kandungan khlorofil dan protein relative tinggi dibanding tanaman lain.  Tanaman alfalfa dalam terminologi bahasa Arab mempunyai arti sebagai  “Bapak dari semua makanan”  yang dipercaya sebagai tanaman yang berfungsi untuk menyembuhkan berbagai macam penyakit. Untuk mengetahui kiprah dari berbagai aspek yaitu peternakan, farmasi,  serta agronomi perlu dikaji lebih mendalam melalui kegiatan penelitian ilmiah.  Maka kegiatan penelitian  dari aspek agronomi  ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh ilmu terapan dalam bidang agronomi khususnya teknologi benih  Alfalfa. Perlakuan yang dicobakan dalam penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kiprah senyawa pengatur tumbuh (GA-3), serta berbagai macam jenis pupuk (Kompos, Pupuk Organik Cair dan TSP) terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.).  Data hasil pengamatan utama dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji BNJ pada taraf 5%.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GA-3, Kompos, Pupuk Organik Cair dan TSP mempunyai kiprah yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L).  Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai pihak untuk mengkaji lebih mendalam tentang pengembangan potensi tanaman Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L).   Key Word : Alfalfa, Benih Alfalfa, Kompos, Pupuk Organik Cair, dan TSP.

Abstract

The rapid population growth in rural areas led to increasing competition in obtaining employment. While on one hand meet the life needs in general and families in particular is increasing. This situation encourages women to entry for work as a rubber tapper in PTPN IX Balong Garden Beji Kalitelo. In this conditions women's tasks become increasingly a heavy that women have a three fold responsibility, in addition to acting as a housewife and social also act as a earner families. Study aims: 1) to know the allocation of time devoted women as breadwinners, take a rest, housewives and socially; 2) to know the factors that affect women's earnings rubber plantation workers; 3) to know how much the contribution of women rubber plantation workers of family income. Totally there are 80 samples of 565 population. The method which is used in this research is descriptive analysis method and an encode for processing use regression bifilar method. The results showed that the allocation of time to a living searching is the biggest allocation that is 9 hours a day with a percentage of 37,5 percent compared to other activities. Based on regression analysis revealed that work period factors, the results of rubber tapping and years of planting, significantly affect women's rubber tappers labor income. And an average contribution of women workers of the rubber tapper to the family income is 54,25 percent. Keywords: Contribution, family income, women workers.

Abstract

Health is influenced by the quality of consumed food every day. Sothat people become healthy, strength, and have normal growth, consumedfood have to fulfill fundamental element which required by body (nutrition& calorie), consist of protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin, and mineral. Oneof its alternative is to consume food which contain legume like soy,because soy have complete content element of nutrition. Tofu and mouldedsoya bean is made food type of soy. This research aim to to know : ( 1) Dotofu and moulded soya bean become the most choosen food in Semarangcity; ( 2) To know factors influencing consumer in chosening tofu andmoulded soya bean and ( 3) To know the alternative for tofu and mouldedsoya bean. Basic method that is used is descriptive method analysis andenforcement method that is used is method of survey. Method intake of areasampel and responder is purposive sampling. used data in the form ofprimary data and sekunder collected through interview with kuesioner,record-keeping, documentation and observation in the form of photo.Responder characteristic of tofu and moulded soya bean is woman agebetween 41 until 45 year, with merried status. Most work of responder isemploying at other sector and level education of responder is ElementarySchool. Earnings from most responder is Rp 1.000.000,- up to Rp.1.500.000, with amount of responsibility counted 3 up to 4 people. Budgetfor food is Rp. 250.000,- up to Rp. 300.000,- each month. Tofu andmoulded soya bean become most taken food because its price and itsalternative is egg. Pursuant to appetite to tofu and of moulded soya beanconsumer like to medium size of white tahu and wrapped plastic tempe withmedium size, consumer the get information about tahu and tempe as foodwhich good to consumed from environment. Tofu and moulded soya bean isthe most consumed food with storey level often in a week, and consumerexpressed their satisfaction. The most favourite type of processing tofu isfried tofu and moulded soya bean processing favourite is fried moulded soyabean.

Abstract

Marketing is an important aspect in running fishing business because it is an economic activity that influences the fluctuation of fishermen’s income. The production can be useless if the price is low, thus, marketing has to be good and efficient. This research is about the efficiency of the marketing system of fresh fish layang (Decapterus russeli) in the fish auction place. Specifically, this research is to know : 1) the marketing system of fresh fish layang in Tegal City. 2) the marketing margin of fresh fish layang in Tegal City. 3) the distribution flow of fresh fish layang in Tegal City. 4) the reason fishermen sell their products in the Fish Auction Place. The method use in this research is descriptive analysis method, The registration data and literature study. Based on the analysis, it  is known that the marketing system of fresh in the Fish Auction Place, seen from the marketing cost calculation, purchasing price, selling price and profit is < 1, which means efficient. And if seen from the marketing margin, the most efficient flow is channel 4 (the 4th channel). Meanwhile, the reason why fishermen sell their Fish Auction Place is because of the guarantee that their product will be sold. Fish is a product that is easily broken and rotten. Therefore, the guarantee that the product will be sold, can minimize loss risk for fisherman. Key word : Marketing Efficiency, Fresh Layang Fish, Fish Auction Place.

Abstract

Kecamatan Mijen merupakan daerah penghasil bawang merah tertinggi di Kabupaten Demak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1). Karakteristik atribut yang menjadi pilihan petani saat menanam bawang merah, 2). Varietas bawang merah yang mempunyai frekuensi penanaman tertinggi, dan 3). Perbandingan karakteristik atribut beberapa varietas bawang merah yang sering ditanam petani di Desa Pasir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pemilihan lokasi dengan cara purposive sampling. Lokasi penelitian adalah Desa Pasir Kecamatan Mijen. Pengambilan sampel petani dilakukan secara purposive sampling, dengan responden yang dilibatkan sebanyak 42 petani, yang diambil dari 2 kelompok tani yang terpilih yaitu kelompok tani Tani Jaya sebanyak 21 dan Tani Makmur 21 orang. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis tabulasi dan perceived quality. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik atribut pada tanaman bawang merah yang dianggap penting oleh petani yaitu umur panen (0,18) dan hasil produksi (0,17). Petani bawang merah lebih banyak menanam Varietas Bima Brebes (Musim tanam I), sementara musim tanam II petani bawang merah lebih banyak menanam bawang merah varietas Bima Sawo. Nilai tingkat preferensi total yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa TPT nilai varietas Bima Curut yang paling disukai dibandingkan varietas lain, dengan nilai 1,02.
