Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on ability of understanding mathematical. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve ability of understanding mathematical students in class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang by the implementation of the strategy Think-Talk-Write (TTW). This research is a class action research consist of two cycles. The subject of this research were the students of class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang that consist of 19 boys and 11 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheet, students mathematical understanding of first ability tests  and students mathematical understanding of ability tests. The results of this research showed the activity of teacher and students performing well according to plan. Most students look to actively participate in the learning process. Based on data analysis ability of understanding mathematical students in classical class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang, obtained an average value ability of understanding mathematical students in the classical style on the first cycle is higher than the average value on first tests ability of understanding mathematical students and the average value ability of understanding mathematical students classically on the second cycle is higher than the average value in first cycle. Average value ability of understanding mathematical students classical students has increased from the first tests to the first cycle of 13.89. The average value ability of understanding mathematical students classical has increased from the first cycle to the second cycle at 5.46. It shows ability of understanding mathematical students with implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy is increased. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy can improve the learning process and improve ability of understanding mathematical of class VII4 of SMP Negeri 3 Tambang in the second semester academic years 2015/2016.

Abstract

Abstract:This reseacrh based on the students math ability class VIII6 of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru under Minimum Mastery Criteria  with a percentage of 32,50% and the learning process still teacher center. The research was classroom action research. This research aims to improve learning process and outcomes students by implementing cooperative learning model type of Think Pair Square. There are 40 students in the class, consisting 14 girls and 26 boys. The technic of data collection on this research are observation sheets and math achievement tests. The observation sheets are analyze in qualitative descriptive way, while the math achievement tests are analyze in quantitative descriptive way. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action of the first cycle to the second cycle. Then the result of this research showed an increase in students from the base score with the percentage 32,50% to 42,50% on the first daily test and 65% on the second daily test. From the results of this study concluded that Cooperative Learning model type of Think Pair Square can improve the students’ learning achievement at class VIII6 of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2016/2017.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students math ability class VIIIA of SMPN 1 Benai under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with a percentage of 43,5%,of the Basic Competence 1.2 outlines the algebra into the factors and the learning process still teacher center. The research conducted was the Classroom Action Research. The aims of this research is to improve the learning process and results on the students learning mathematic by implementing cooperative learning model structural approach of Think Pair Square. There were 23 students in the class consisting 15 boys and 8 girls as the participant of this research. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative desciptive. The qualitative desciptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 10 person (43,5%), 12 person (52,2%) and 27 person (73,9%). Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model structural approach of Think Pair Square can improve the learning process and result on the students’ achievement of learning Mathematic in grade VIIIA of SMPN 1 Benai in the first semester academic years 2016/201, of the basic competence 1.3 Understanding relations and functions. 1.4 Determine the value of functions, and 1.5 Sketching graph of simple algebraic function on the Cartesian coordinate plane.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and improve learning achievement by applying the mathematical inquiry learning model on students of class VIIA SMPIT Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru. The subjects were 20 students of class VIIA SMPIT Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru Academic Year 2015/2016, with heterogeneous acaemic ability levels. This study consists of two cycles, in which each consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. At the end of each cycle, a daily test is given to the students. Data of the research are collected trough observation and the daily tests. An action is categorized to be successful if there is improvement in learning and the number of students who achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) increases in the daily est I and test II. The research findings reveal that the activities of teachers and students run well as they were planned. Most students participate in the learning process actively, such as by discusing in determining hypotheses and collecting data, presenting the Student Worksheet (LKS), responding to their classmates’ presentation and concluding lessons. Therefore, it can be said that there is improvement in the learning process of each meeting. Besides the number of students who achieves KKM on a base score is 65% on daily test I (first cycle) and 75% on daily test II (second cycle) is 80%. The percentage achievement of KKM also shows an increase from before to after the action taken so that it can be concluded that the learning achievement of te student s also increases. The result of this study show that learning by the inquiry model can improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning achievement of students of class VIIA SMPIT Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru of the second semester of 2015/2016,Key Words: Mathematical Learning Achievement, The Inquiry Learning Model, Class Room Action Research

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to describe and find out the improvement of the result of physics learning student class IX of SMPN 1 Bantan and to explain the significant contradiction the result of physics learning between student that have been learn by the conventional method with the student that have been learn by the cooperatif learning model type Course Review Horay. The type of research is a quasi-experimental, with Intact Group Comparisson design. The subject of this research is students class IX at SMPN 1 Bantan, total of 40 students as divide into two class, experimental class and control class. The data in this research is a score of the result before and after learning physics by implementation of cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay and analysis of the data uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Then, measured the increase the result by normalized gain (gain-N). The result of this research, from descriptive analysis got score result of students at experimental class in high category with N-Gain 0,71, and the control class in the middle category with N-Gain 0,46. From inferential anylisis show that there has significant contradiction the result of physics learning between student that have been learn by the conventional method with the student that have been learn by the cooperatif learning model type Course Review Horay.  Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay can to increase the result of physics learning student class IX SMPN 1 Bantan and be found the significant contradiction the result of physics learning between student that have been learn by the conventional method with the student that have been learn by the cooperatif learning model type Course Review Horay.
