Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of role conflict and emotional intelligence on job satisfaction of teachers. The experiment was conducted on teacher Special School Pembina of Riau Province. The population in this study is a teacher Special School Pembina of Riau Province. The samples were 35 respondents in this study. Indipendent variables in this research is role conflict and emotional intelligence as dependent variable is teacher’s job satisfaction. This study using Multiple Linier Regression Analysis as a method, with using SPSS version 18. Simultanous regression (F test) showed the independent variables had a significant influences on the dependent variable (Job Satisfaction). The magnitude of influence independent variables was 70,8% and the remaining 29,5% was influenced by other variables.The result of this research showed that role conflict and emotional intelligent had significant influence on teacher’s job satisfaction. Partially, role conflict have negative significant influence to teacher’s job satisfaction, while emotional intelligence on teacher’s job satisfaction in positive significant.  Keywords: Role Conflict, Emotional Intelligance and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pada era digital saat ini berkembang dengan sangat pesat terutama pada sektor penyimpanan data. Salah satu contoh perkembangan teknologi pada sektor penyimpanan data adalah teknologi private cloud storage. Teknologi private cloud storage masih belum banyak dimanfaatkan pada lembaga atau instansi dalam bidang pendidikan sedangkan teknologi private cloud storage merupakan alternatif bagi lembaga atau instansi dalam bidang pendidikan untuk menyimpan ataupun berbagi data tanpa cemas akan virus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang serta mengimplementasikan pemanfaatan private cloud storage sebagai media penyimpanan terpusat pada Universitas Islam Batik Surakarta (UNIBA) untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan seperti kerusakan data oleh virus serta mengefisienkan dalam berbagi data. Pada penelitian ini software private cloud storage yang digunakan adalah Pydio 8.0 Community yang dapat meminimalisir kerusakan data oleh virus serta mengefisienkan dalam berbagi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini merupakan sistem penyimpanan terpusat dengan software Pydio 9.0 Community yang dapat diakses melalui web browser, desktop dan smartphone diuji melalui tiga tahap yaitu pengujian kemampuan komputer server, koneksi antara client dan server serta pengujian keamanan komputer server. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan memperoleh hasil kemampuan server dalam membalas permintaan client berkisar 0,6 detik dengan rata-rata kecepatan koneksi antara client dengan server 460kbps. Untuk keamanan komputer server, folder yang ada sudah dapat dienkripsi dengan baik oleh sistem. Hasil pengujian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi private cloud storage dengan software Pydio 8.0 Community dapat memecahkan masalah yang ada pada suatu lembaga atau instansi dalam bidang pendidikan dalam kasus ini pada Universtitas Islam Batik Surakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to reviewing the policy of Strategic Patience by United States toward North Korea. The policy contained was established by Obama Administration which concluded as neither stick neither carrot. The policy is concerned to pursue the North Korea to dismantle all of the nuclear facilities as the precondition of the further talks. However, I analyzed that the policy is a big fail because leaving North Korea behind the full-control of United States even this policy was strenghtened by trilateral cooperation among South Korea and Japan. This policy supported by acumulated sanction by Security Council and United States itself. At my final conclusion of this research, United States was failed to achieved its prominent interest; denuclrization of North Korea.On an academic scope, this research is using the neorealism perspective and the theory of foreign policy. In the scope of theoretical, Forein Policy emphasized the internal problema and internal policy are giving impact to the foreign policy. Indeed, indirectly, Foreign Policy Theory also pursued the comparative study by rolling back policies at the past. By the support of this theory, this research is capable to find out the failures of Strategic Patience.The failure, instead, divided by several factor such as China Factor, the unassertive of the sanctions, the fragile of trilateral, and without neglecting the United Stated miscalculations; which made the circumstances of the failure.United States’ failures on denuclearized North Korea under Obama’s term are the divergent interest inside United Nations Security Council itself. It showed by the renewal of UNSC Resolution 2321 which reflected the China’s interest. Besides, the fail of Strategic Patience can be examined by United States was lacking its power at the region.Keyword: United States, Nuclear Disarmament, North Korea, Strategic Patience, Obama Admnistration.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment of civil servants so that there are two relationships that will be investigated in this study, namely: 1) organizational culture, 2) organizational commitment.The study was conducted at Civil Servants East Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Office by the number of research subjects as many as 152 people with visitors specifications of men and women, average age 30 years to 50 years with a wide variety of educational backgrounds.Data analysis was performed using SPSS (Statistical packade for Social Science) 13 for Windows. Results of hypothesis testing using Spearman Rank analysis (R) of - 0.117, p equal to 0.246, and 0.265 t of t table (two-way) 0.05 = 1.99. This means that a significant level of 0.05, it can be concluded  that there is no relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment Civil Servants East Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Office.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are one of the leading causes of death in Indonesia. In 2022, there were 94,617 traffic accident cases recorded across the country, resulting in 28,131 fatalities. Motorcycles were involved in 73% of these cases. To reduce the number of motor vehicle accident fatalities, a detection system is needed that can provide real-time accident alerts, location data, and victim health information from distances. The design of this system includes an accident detection device placed on the vehicle and a heart rate detection device in the form of gloves. The accident detection system uses an ESP32 microcontroller, a Gyro MPU6050 sensor, and a GPS NEO6MV2 sensor. It detects accidents based on tilt data and sudden braking. Accident information is sent via WhatsApp chatbot, including the accident location coordinates. Tests showed an average tilt reading difference of 1.34°, an accelerometer reading of 1.89 m/s², and GPS coordinates with an 8.2-meter range. The heart rate detection system uses an ESP32 microcontroller and a MAX30102 heart rate sensor. It sends alerts via WhatsApp chatbot when the user’s heart rate is abnormal. Tests showed an average heart rate reading difference of 11.75 bpm

Abstract

Salah satu figur publik yang aktif memberikan edukasi kesehatan adalah dokter Tirta melalui kanal YouTube Tirta PengPengPeng dengan gaya komunikasinya yang lugas, emosional, dan sering menggunakan ungkapan keras. Gaya komunikasi tersebut menarik untuk dikaji karena memperlihatkan penggunaan bahasa sebagai strategi untuk menegaskan pesan dan membangun pemahaman pendengar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada kajian pragmatik dengan menunjukkan hubungan antara fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi dan penggunaan disfemisme dalam wacana digital kesehatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Sumber data penelitian berupa video YouTube Tirta PengPengPeng, yakni pada episode Mitos/Fakta Part 3. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik agih untuk mengidentifikasi jenis tindak tutur ilokusi dan fungsi disfemisme yang menyertainya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur ilokusi bermuatan disfemisme hanya ditemukan dalam dua jenis, yaitu direktif dan ekspresif. Tindak tutur direktif mendominasi temuan data dan paling sering disertai disfemisme sebagai sarana mempermalukan, mengekspresikan kemarahan, mewakili kondisi buruk, dan mengungkapkan keheranan. Sementara itu, tindak tutur ekspresif ditemukan dalam jumlah terbatas dan berfungsi mengekspresikan kejengkelan penutur. Penggunaan disfemisme terbukti memperkuat daya ilokusi tuturan dalam menyampaikan pesan kesehatan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa disfemisme berperan sebagai strategi pragmatik untuk menegaskan maksud ilokusi dan meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi edukatif dalam wacana YouTube.
