Abstract

One form of deviant sexual behavior found among female inmates in correctional institutions is same-sex attraction or lesbian behavior. Contributing factors include family background, lack of religious observance, and peer environment, which have been shown to influence the emergence of same-sex attraction among women. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors influencing same-sex attraction behavior among female inmates at Class IIB Correctional Institution in Cilacap. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis used content analysis. The data collection technique used was non-probability sampling with a snowball sampling approach. Based on interviews, observations, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with seven informants, three factors were identified that influence same-sex attraction behavior among female inmates at the Class IIB Correctional Institution in Cilacap: psychological comfort, lack of interaction with the opposite sex, and unpleasant past experiences with men. This study has identified three new factors related to same-sex attraction behavior among female inmates at the Class IIB Correctional Institution in Cilacap.

Abstract

Pernikahan dini terjadi diberbagai wilayah terlebih di Jawa Tengah. Hal ini dapat memicu kemiskinan di wilayah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh program TUMA PERDI (tutorial menekan angka pernikahan dini) terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja tentang pernikahan dini di desa kotayasa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pre eksperiment. Dimana sebelum memberikan program TUMA PERDI remaja akan melakukan pretest dan post test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata usia responden adalah 17-18 tahun. Sikap remaja terhadap pernikahan dini sebelum diberikan program “TUMA PERDI” memiliki rata-rata sebesar 37,47 dan rata-rata setelah diberikan program “TUMA PERDI” 64,91 yang artinya mengalami kenaikan sebanyak 27,44.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Indonesia menjadi negara dengan penggunaan smartphone terbesar keempat yang aktif di dunia setelah China, India, dan Amerika. Berbagai fenomena peningkatan penggunaan gadget di Indonesia, perlu peran orangtua dalam ikut serta mendampingi anak, agar bijak dalam penggunaan gadget. Saat ini sebagian besar anak sudah mempunyai gadget pribadi karena adanya pembelajaran daring pada tahun sebelumnya akibat wabah Covid-19. Tujuan: Mencegah dampak buruk penggunaan gadget pada anak melalui penggunaan aplikasi parental control. Metode: Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar  Negeri 01 Bobosan, Purwokerto, Banyumas dengan metode pelatihan digital parenting dan praktik penggunaan aplikasi parental control dalam google family link. Materi disampaikan melalui pembagian leaflet dan paparan menggunakan Powerpoint. Pengukuran pengetahuan peserta dilakukan sebelum pelatihan dan sepekan setelah kegiatan dilaksanakan. Hasil: Pelatihan diikuti 30 peserta wali siswa kelas 4 dan 5. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum da setelah dilangsungkan kegiatan pelatihan, namun capaian penggunaan aplikasi oleh peserta masih relatif rendah (40%). Kesimpulan: Pelatihan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan wali siswa tentang parental control bagi anak. Perlu kerjasama yang baik antara sekolah dan orangtua siswa dalam pengelolaan penggunaan gadget pada anak. Kata kunci: digital parenting, gadget, parental control, pelatihan ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Abstract Background: Indonesia is the fourth largest number of active smartphone users after China, India, and America. Various phenomena of increasing use of gadgets in Indonesia require the parents to accompany children so that they are wise in using devices. Currently, most children already have personal gadgets due to online learning the previous year due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Objective: It is preventing the effects of using gadgets on children through parental control applications. Method: The activities were carried out at Bobosan 01 Public Elementary School, Purwokerto, Banyumas. Digital parenting training was a method chosen. A practice of parental control applications was using the Google Family Link. The knowledge is substantial through the distribution of leaflets and sharing using Powerpoint. Measurement of participant knowledge was taken before the training and a week after the training. Result: The training was attended by 30 guardians of students in grades 4 and 5. The results showed increased knowledge before and after the training activities, but the achievement of using the application by the participants was still relatively low (40%). Conclusion: Training can increase parents' knowledge about parental control for children. There needs to be good cooperation between schools and parents of students in managing the use of gadgets in children. Keywords: digital parenting, gadgets, parental control, training
