Abstract

The work of Meretas Adab is an achievement of the process of creating a theater based on research on the tradition of Melangun from Anak Dalam tribe. The form approach chosen in this creation process is a contemporary theatrical form. The formulation of the problem in question from this creation is how to realize the creation of a contemporary theater of Meretas Adab departing from the Melangun tradition. The theories used are contemporary theater theory, proscenium stage conventions and cultural arts exploration. The directing method used consisted of research, script preparation, selecting a creative team, separate exercises and joint exercises. The result of this creation process is a theatrical performance that utilizes the properties and daily behavior of the Anak Dalam tribal community. This contemporary theater utilizes Jambi Malay art as the basis for creating musical and dance compositions. Keywords: meretas adab, melangun. AbstrakKarya Meretas Adab merupakan capaian dari proses penciptaan teater yang berlandaskan pada riset atas tradisi melangun suku Anak Dalam. Pendekatan bentuk yang dipilih dalam proses penciptaan ini adalah bentuk teater kontemporer. Rumusan masalah yang dipertanyakan dari penciptaan ini adalah bagaimana mewujudkan penciptaan teater kontemporer Meretas Adab berangkat dari tradisi Melangun. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori teater kontemporer, konvensi panggung proscenium dan eksplorasi seni budaya. Metode penyutradaraan yang digunakan terdiri dari, riset, penyusunan naskah, memilih tim kreatif, latihan terpisah dan latihan gabungan. Hasil dari proses penciptaan ini adalah pertunjukan teater yang memanfaatkan properti dan prilaku keseharian dari masyarakat suku Anak Dalam. Abstract

Balega di Tanah Manang is an attempt to express the situation and condition of Minangkabau society in a matrilineal setting. This study discusses the practice of dance dramaturgy in the creation of Balega di Tanah Manang by Susas Rita Loravianti. The work of creation through the birth of dramaturgical forms and concepts seen in dramaturgical practice. The pattern of work in the creation process through the views of the choreographer and dramaturg in their work. The practice of dialogue between the choreographer and dramaturg is carried out. The research method uses a dramaturgical approach, which is an approach that focuses on the circle of work patterns carried out in the creative process of dance creation and production by dramaturg and a choreographic approach in seeing the form of the work by the choreographer.Keywords: balega di tanah manang, dramaturgy.AbstrakTari Balega di Tanah Manang merupakan upaya mengekspresikan situasi dan kondisi masyarakat Minangkabau dalam tatanan matrilinial Penelitian ini membahas praktik dramaturgi tari dalam penciptaan Balega di Tanah Manang karya Susas Rita Loravianti. Kerja penciptaan melalui pelahiran bentuk dan konsep dramaturgi yang dilihat dalam praktik dramaturgi. Pola kerja dalam proses penciptaan melalui pandangan koreografer dan dramaturg dalam tugasnya. Adanya praktik dialog antara koreografer dan dramaturg yang dilakukan. Abstract

This photographic work raises the theme of parental love through the medium of wooden matches in expression photography. This work focuses on life experiences, the daily activities of the creator while he was born and grew up full of love from his parents in Aceh. The theory of ideas that the creator uses in creating this work of Expression photography is in the form of Expression Photography, Composition, Semiotics and Lighting. This creation method also involves experimentation. The creative concepts and ideas displayed in this photo work are a reflection of the creator's daily life. The main object in making this work is a miniature person created from wooden matches. This work is inspired by the author's life story of the sincere love of his parents, as well as daily life activities that the author has experienced and felt. Rooted in a deep narrative of parental love, the project captures the essence of familial warmth and affection, depicting miniature wooden matchsticks involved in everyday activities as symbolic representations of the human experience. Each photo encapsulates a narrative of parental love and familial bonds, visually depicting moments of tenderness, joy and nurturing care. In "In Mother's Lap", "Happiness", "Dodaidi Swing", "Adab", and "Guardian", the creator visualizes the multifaceted nature of parental love, from caring for babies to guiding adolescence. These photos are a touching reminder of the eternal bond between parents and children, illustrating the profound impact that love and care can have on a child's development and well-being. Ultimately, through a blend of artistic expression and qualitative inquiry, the project “Parental Love through the Medium of Wooden Matching in Expressive Photography” transcends the realm of conventional photography, offering viewers a glimpse into the depth and richness of human relationships and experiences.
