Abstract

Besurek cloth is a typical batik cloth from Bengkulu Province. Besurek cloth is characterized by calligraphy and a combination of flora and fauna as its motif which generally means the balance of human life with nature and the creator. The uneven education of Besurek cloth makes children aged 7-12 years less familiar with Besurek cloth. Therefore this design was created to create new educational media that are appropriate and fun for children aged 7-12 years to learn Besurek cloth. This interactive illustration book contains narrative and information about history, tools and materials, the manufacturing process, motifs and meaning of Besurek cloth and contains interactive illustrations and content adapted to the developmental stages of children aged 7-12 years such as interactive game content in the form of maze, counting, pasting objects by shape, drawing and coloring, and hidden objects. Using the glass box method, this design systematically applies the stages of preparation, incubation, illumination and verification. Through these stages the main media is produced in the form of interactive illustrated books and supporting media, namely question and answer cards, designing and coloring sheets, x-banners, posters, string bags, stickers, and keychains

Abstract

The purpose of creating this work is to visualize the Eye as an Object in a Graphic Art Work. The eye is a sensory organ that helps humans in everyday life whose function is to see, besides that the eye is also able to communicate feelings that we feel such as feelings of sadness, happiness, fear and anger, all of which can be seen from the reaction of the eyes as a real picture of the feelings we feel. communicated by the eye, this is what makes the idea of creation and the subject matter for the writer to produce a graphic art work with the cut out stencil print technique. This work also aims to introduce eye reactions as a symbol of human feelings from the description of social events that seen in everyday life. The method applied to making this final work goes through stages including Preparation, Elaboration, Synthesis, Concept Realization, and finally the completion stage. In the Graphic Art works that the author created, there are 10 works with the title; Flood Tears, Dice and Snakes and Ladders, Help, Cracked And Broken, 5 Times, mato suntiang, Threatened, Bullying, Maliek anak, Behind the hole.

Abstract

This final work aims to visualize the negative impact of smoking in graphic artworks using the stencil print technique. The idea of this work is the visualization of the negative impacts caused by smoking, ranging from health, environmental, and social impacts. The method in the process of making this graphic art work goes through several stages, namely: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and completion. Each work has a size of 40cm x 52cm with the title of the work, "nesting", "withering", "wasted coins", "the old", "claustrophobic and trapped", "smoke factory", "burning time", "burning self", "not a part", "irreplaceable". .
