Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of science teachers in SMP preparing for learning by implementing the 2013 curriculum in SMP Negeri sekecamatan Stabat. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. The subjects in this study were 2 science teachers SMP Nigeria 1 Stabat, 4 science teachers SMP Nigeria 2 Stabat, and 5 teachers IPA SMP Nigeria 5 Stabat. Data on the readiness of science teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum were collected through questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that: Science Teachers of SMP Nigeria in Stabat Sub-district stated ready in preparing the learning curriculum 2013, this can be seen from the average percentage of 79% with the ready category; Science Teachers of SMP Nigeria in Stabat Sub-district have categories ready to prepare the learning tools of curriculum 2013, this can be seen from the data as follows: Average percentage of science preparedness science teachers SMP Nigeria 1 Stabat by 79% with ready category. The average percentage of teachers prepared science IPA SMP Nigeria 2 Stabat 70% with categories ready. The average percentage of preparedness of science teachers of state SMP 5 Stabat is 78% in ready category.

Abstract

This research aims as follows: to determine the effect of peer conformity on the intensity of bullying. This type of research is a quantitative research approach. The subjects of this research were 20 students in class IV and V of SD Negeri 105372 Batang Terap, consisting of 13 class IV students and 7 class V students. The research used correlational research because it looked for the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. This research was conducted to determine the level of relationship between two or more variables, without making changes, additions or manipulation to existing data. The research results show that peer conformity can influence bullying behavior with an F result of 0.154 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), and has a regression coefficient of 0.075. This can be interpreted as meaning that the higher the peer conformity, the higher the bullying behavior, and vice versa, the lower the peer conformity, the lower the bullying behavior. Based on the data presented, there is an effective contribution of the peer conformity variable to bullying behavior of 50%. This was carried out to determine the level of relationship between two or more variables, without making changes, additions or manipulations to existing data. The research results show that peer conformity can influence bullying behavior.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low interest in learning of Class IV students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli and the lack of use of learning media. For this reason, teacher innovation is needed in designing learning. The use of learning media can create effective communication between teachers and students. The objectives of this research and development are 1) To determine the feasibility of the Magic Learning Box (Kobela) learning media in increasing the learning interest of Class IV Students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli. 2) To determine the effectiveness of the Magic Learning Box (Kobela) learning media in increasing the interest in learning of Class IV Students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research and development can be concluded that 1) The results of material expert validation obtained a score of 91.57% in the very valid category. The media expert validation results obtained a score of 82.22% in the valid category. The linguist validation results obtained a score of 92.5% with a very valid category. The teacher response test results obtained a score of 92.5% with a very valid category. The results of the student response test obtained a score of 90.95% with a very valid category. Based on these results, the Magic Learning Box (Kobela) learning media was declared suitable for use in the learning process. 2) The effectiveness of the Magic Learning Box (Kobela) learning media in increasing the learning interest of Class IV students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli was stated to be effective in the learning process and can improve students' reading skills.
