Abstract

ABSTRAK Masalah yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah  rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA pokok bahasan Daur Air hal itu dapat diketahui dari rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal yang diberikan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model  pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing pada mata pelajaran ipa pokok bahasan Daur Air di kelas V SD Negeri 101788 Marindal I Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dengan 2 (dua) siklus yang terdiri dari 2 (dua) pertemuan dan 4 (empat) tahap yaitu : perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi Subjek dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas V SD yang berjumlah 31 orang yang terdiri dari 15 perempuan dan 16 laki-laki. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan data kuantitatif  berupa test dan data kualitatif berupa observasi. Kata Kunci : Model Kooperatif, Tipe Snowball Throwing, IPA

Abstract

This research was conducted based on observations carried out by researchers at SDN 105321 Batang Kuis. During the observation, the researchers discovered a problem, namely the students' low reading ability. Based on the results of interviews conducted with homeroom teachers regarding students' reading abilities, it was found that students' reading abilities were still low, with many students unable to recognize letters. This is attributed to the limited media available for use in learning and the fact that many students did not go through early childhood education before continuing their elementary school education. This research aims to develop word card media for initial reading material for grade I elementary school students. The study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results of the research show that the word card media is declared suitable for use as a learning medium, with an assessment percentage from media experts of 99.9% and an assessment percentage from material experts of 90.6%. These percentages indicate a very good category from the feasibility test assessment by both media and material experts. Furthermore, the results of the research conducted on 27 students received an assessment carried out by the homeroom teacher as an observer during the field trial process. This assessment yielded a percentage of 95%, which falls into the very good category. The word card media was deemed suitable for use as a learning medium and was able to improve students' reading abilities..

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Determine the development of learning media on the material of practicing Pancasila values in the form of a scrapbook for fourth-grade students, and (2) Assess the feasibility of the learning media developed on the same material. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) methodology. The subjects of the research are 25 fourth-grade students from SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli, consisting of 11 boys and 14 girls. According to the material experts' assessment, the feasibility percentage is 94%, categorized as "Highly Feasible." The media experts' assessment shows a feasibility percentage of 96%, also categorized as "Highly Feasible." Student responses from the trials indicate a feasibility percentage of 91.04%, classified as "Highly Feasible." Similarly, based on teacher feedback, the feasibility percentage is 90.7%, with the same classification of "Highly Feasible." The media has been validated by both media and material experts, and it is deemed highly suitable for use as a learning tool for the material on practicing Pancasila values in the form of a scrapbook for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli.

Abstract

This research aims as follows: to determine the effect of peer conformity on the intensity of bullying. This type of research is a quantitative research approach. The subjects of this research were 20 students in class IV and V of SD Negeri 105372 Batang Terap, consisting of 13 class IV students and 7 class V students. The research used correlational research because it looked for the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. This research was conducted to determine the level of relationship between two or more variables, without making changes, additions or manipulation to existing data. The research results show that peer conformity can influence bullying behavior with an F result of 0.154 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), and has a regression coefficient of 0.075. This can be interpreted as meaning that the higher the peer conformity, the higher the bullying behavior, and vice versa, the lower the peer conformity, the lower the bullying behavior. Based on the data presented, there is an effective contribution of the peer conformity variable to bullying behavior of 50%. This was carried out to determine the level of relationship between two or more variables, without making changes, additions or manipulations to existing data. The research results show that peer conformity can influence bullying behavior.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media pembelajaran ular tangga terhadap hasil belajar pada materi pecahan kelas II SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia, (2) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada materi pecahan kelas II SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia menggunakan dua kelas yang berjumlah masing-masing 20 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran kartu domino memperoleh nilai tertinggi yaitu 92 dan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunkan media diperoleh nilai tertinggi 88, Jadi dapat diketahui seberapa besar pengaruh media pembelajaran ular tangga terhadap hasil belajar matematka kelas II SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia. This research aims, the objectives of this research are as follows: (1) to find out how much influence the snakes and ladders learning media has on learning outcomes in class II fraction material at SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia, (2) to find out student learning outcomes in class II fraction material at SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia using two classes of 20 students each consisting of an experimental class and a control class. This research was conducted using pretest and posttest questions. The results of research carried out in the experimental class and control class show that the experimental class which used domino card learning media obtained the highest score, namely 92 and the control class which did not use media obtained the highest score of 88. So it can be seen how much influence the snakes and ladders learning media has on the results. studying mathematics for class II at SD Negeri 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan perubahan wujud zat dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Pendekatan ini dipilih karena selama ini pembelajaran IPA masih menggunakan metode ceramah yang mengakibatkan rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa di kelas. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan jumlah peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri 068426 Medan sebanyak 28 orang yang terdiri dari 13 orang siswa perempuan dan 15 orang siswa laki-laki. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes dengan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar siswa berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa pada Siklus I dan Siklus II masing-masing sebesar 67,86 dan 72,39 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 64,29% pada Siklus I dan 89,29% pada Siklus II. Persentase peningkatan hasil belajar dari Siklus I ke Siklus II sebesar 25%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode eksperimen memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran eksperimen di kelas memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pokok perubahan wujud zat di kelas III SD Negeri 068426 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the cooperative learning model Talking Stick on the learning independence of fourth-grade students at SDN 101927 Sekip. The research employed an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The findings revealed that the Talking Stick cooperative learning model significantly influenced students' learning independence. The average independence score in the experimental class utilizing the Talking Stick model was 82.2, with a standard deviation of 9.06, compared to the control class employing conventional methods, which recorded an average independence score of 51.67 and a standard deviation of 7.18. Hypothesis testing showed a calculated t-value of 0.06, which was compared to the critical t-value at a 5% significance level (0.245). The results confirmed that the hypothesis was accepted, indicating that the Talking Stick learning model effectively enhances students' learning independence. This study underscores the importance of implementing cooperative learning strategies to foster students' autonomy and engagement in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the reading abilities of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 106805 Manunggal. The research employs a Quasi-Experimental design, involving two classes: an experimental class that implements the Discovery Learning model and a control class using conventional methods, with a total of 60 students. The study investigates: (1) whether the Discovery Learning model has a greater impact compared to conventional teaching methods; (2) whether students with higher reading abilities achieve better learning outcomes; and (3) whether there is an interaction between the Discovery Learning model and students' reading abilities in influencing their academic performance. The results indicate that the Discovery Learning model significantly enhances students' reading abilities. Students with higher reading proficiency demonstrated superior academic performance compared to those with lower reading skills. Furthermore, a significant interaction was observed between the Discovery Learning model and students' reading abilities, contributing to more optimal learning outcomes. These findings suggest that the Discovery Learning model is an effective instructional strategy for improving reading skills in elementary school students.
