Abstract

This study aims to find out how the frontliner services for customers of PT Bank BNI Syariah KC Panorama Bengkulu. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Descriptive qualitative research aims to explain the phenomena as deeply as possible that occur in the field and present data systematically, factually, and accurately regarding the facts or phenomena that occur in the field. Data collection is done by means of initial observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that the quality of service of PTBank BNI Syariah KC Panorama Bengkulu has implemented five dimensions of service quality according to Parasuarman et al, namely Tangible, Reliability,Responsivity, Assurance and Emphaty, but there are some things that have not gone according to customer wishes such as the inability of waiting room at PT Bank BNI Syariah KC Panorama Bengkulu, where the waiting room is too small, sometimes busy customers have to wait outside, then the lack of seats waiting sometimes customers waiting to stand up remember the condition of small and narrow room and for EDC tools that have to swipe cards repeatedly because the EDC engine is error.

Abstract

Instagram social media is a unique medium because through this media not only communicating by sharing photos, but also penetrating into videos that everyone can get various videos that inform various kinds of actifities or routines that are carried out. The use of instagram also occurs among the community in the city of Bengkulu, precisely Sanggar Arastra community, thus encouraging members to play Instagram. The purpose of this study is to find out the motives of social media users to upload instagram story. This study uses a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach and this study uses the motive theory by Papacharissi and Rubin (2017), which consist of several motives, utility motives and motives seeking information. This research was conducted with data collection techniques through interview, observation and documentation study. The subjects in this study were five members of Sanggar Arastra owning an Android or iOS cellphone with an application and an Instagram account, they actively play Instagram and like ti upload photos, videoa and texts on the Instagram Story. The results of thie study indicate that the motives of members of Sanggar Arastra in uploading photos, videos nd texts in Instagram story are convenience motives, entertainment motives, passing time motives to follow current trends. Of all the motives, there is the most dominant motive, namely Convenience Motives because what they upload on Instagram stories is a form of expressing themselves, a place to express feelings in the form of photos, videoa and texts. Their uploads form a good image in order to get the desired recognition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memberikan uraian bagaimana strategi komunikasi merek melalui pemasaran berbasis empati yang dilakukan oleh pelaku UMKM di Kota Bengkulu. Pelaku UMKM yang dijadikan sebagai objek penelitian adalah pelaku UMKM yang menggunakan Instagram sebagai media promosi di Kota Bengkulu. Uraian strategi komunikasi merek ini didapat dari konsep komunikasi merek dan pemasaran berbasis empati, yaitu Empathy Maps dari Dave Gray dengan pendekatan studi literatur yang dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2021. Strategi komunikasi merek melalui pemasaran berbasis empati yang dilakukan oleh pelaku UMKM di Kota Bengkulu melalui dua segi, yaitu isi pesan dan media yang digunakan. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa, pelaku UMKM di Kota Bengkulu melakukan inovasi dalam promosi produknya melalui pesan yang menarik dan mengikat emosional pembeli melalui akun Instagram sebagai media yang dipilih untuk promosi.

Abstract

Sarcasm is a figure of speech derived from irony and is harsher than irony. The main characteristic of sarcasm is that it always contains bitterness and reproach that is bitter, hurts the heart, and is not pleasant to hear. Through the film Warintil episode 186, the media was able to display a picture of the sarcasm that was uttered by the players. This study aims to describe the forms of sarcasm in the film Warintil episode 186. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using content analysis method. The data obtained for this analysis is obtained through several scenes in which there is an element of sarcasm. Then after choosing what sarcasm language is in the film, then determine what type of sarcasm is in the film. While the theory used is the content analysis theory of Holsti. The results showed that in the Warintil episode 186 film, there were 13 sarcasm quotes in the Warintil episode 186 film that fulfilled the unit of analysis where each sarcasm was shown in scenes 3:15 to 8:32. In the film Warintil episode 186, there are thirteen quotes that have the meaning of insulting/insulting.

Abstract

The enactment of the Employment Copyright Constitution automatically participates, including those related to broadcasting, like it or not, we have to be ready to welcome digitalization. For broadcasting industry players, migrating to digital TV is like leaving your own home. In this case, the government and the regional Indonesian broadcasting commission (KPID) can socialize and educate people who still lack knowledge, therefore the author wants to continue in scientific writing with the aim of this research aims to determine the migration of television digitization broadcasting 2022 in Bengkulu Province, this study uses descriptive qualitative method with interview, observation and documentation data collection tools. The results of the study show, in general, that local television has stated its readiness firmly, only there are still many obstacles and doubts regarding the technical way the broadcast will be carried out, in terms of regulation the KPID also still needs further information from the Ministry of Communication and Information regarding the use of the setting box and distribution system to society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the political communication strategy of the golongan Karya (golkar) party in regional head elections. Data retrieval techniques that researchers use are interviews, documentation, and observation. Data collection techniques by purposive sampling by taking informants as many as 3 people. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using the positioning theory from adam nursal (andianus pito: 2013) consisting of 1) policy is an offer of work programs delivered by candidates to the pubic 2)person is a candidate who has high quality and track record 3). This party is an apolitical product that has been done by the Golkar party 4). Presentation is the presentation of work programs submitted by the golkar party to the pubic directly. The results of the research and discussion that the positioning theory carried out by the DPD golongan Karya (Golkar) party is able to take sympathy and can influence the message conveyed to the public.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, the need for information is fast becoming very important for society. With this speed, online media has become one of the mass media that has a lot of interests and readers. On the other hand, it also gave birth to business interest for capital owners to establish large online media such as more than one, making the practice of conglomeration. As in Vicent Mosco's theory the conglomeration is a merging of a media company into a larger company that is in charge of the media. Ultimately, it also had an impact on reporting to the public and evidenced by conducting research on qualitative methods, namely by conducting interviews, observation and documentation with Miles model analysis techniques to media owners as well as to online media reporters SMSI group. In-depth interviews with discussions that have been determined previously in order to obtain data on this study. From this practice that there is a lot of space played by media owners, one of whom occupies as the editor and as the leader of the media, then all practical policies are all determined by the editor of good news that will be covered by journalists in the field. Technically, all news has been conceptualized by the editor, such as issues that will become news. Issues raised provide opportunities for journalists or media owners to find income for companies, such as cooperation with the government or political figures and the news is one of the priorities of the conceptual media owner.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of uploading natural tourism photos on google maps on visiting behavior of domestic tourists by using quantitative research. Data are collected by using a questionnaire and spread that to respondents. In this research, there are two variables, free variable (x) photo upload, bound variable (Y) visiting behavior, and calculated by using SPSS 21.0. this research shows that photo upload influences the visiting behavior and from validity test, rcount rtable. This means all questions item in this research is valid. The correlation of rcount is 0,728 and higher than rtable, 0,334 means between X variable toward Y variable has positive and strong correlation means the higher number of uploads, visiting behavior will increase and can be obtained that the coefficient determination value which obtained is 0,530. It means the photo upload influence the visiting behavior for 53% while the rest 47% is influenced by other factors which are not to be researched in this research...

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the Management of Communication Privacy on Selebgram at Bengkulu city. This research uses Petronio’s theory, 2002 about communication privacy management. This research uses the qualitative research method. Data are collected by using observation, interview, and documentation as the method. The result of this research generally shows that the informants said it is very important to keep safe the privacy in selebgram era because it helps them for example to keep their figure and prevent from being talked back and can choose or negotiate with self whether to post or not about problems in their lives and family. And only will share good posts to be viewed by the public or followers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the service responsiveness of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Bengkulu Branch in responding the complaints from container service users. This research is qualitative research that uses deductive data analysis techniques. This indicates that the research method is descriptive. Service responsiveness is analyzed by applying 4 (four) main elements of responsiveness theory in service, namely (1) good attitude and communication; (2) prompt service; (3) proper service; and (4) careful service. The results showed that the complaint service for container services at P.T. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Bengkulu Branch has contained the four elements in the theory of responsiveness. The company responds to various container customer complaints with good communication and attitude without discrimination. Submission of important information related to procedures in container and unloading activities is delivered transparently, both face-to-face and through social media in accordance with customer expectations. PT. Pelindo II (Persero) also continues to strive to respond to complaints more quickly. Even though there are complaints that have not been responded to perfectly, the company will be responsible and try to compensate for the loss of the container service users. Then, the service of complaints from container service customers has also been responded to appropriately. The company has made it easier for customers to make complaints, either through a letter of complaint submitted directly to the company or via email and social media. Next is PT. Pelindo II (Persero) Bengkulu Branch also fulfills the last element of responsiveness theory, namely careful service. This means that various complaints from container service users are taken seriously and carefully. This is done to minimize losses, both for customers and for the company itself.
