Abstract

Prokrastinasi akademik merupakan perilaku menunda-nunda mengerjakan ataupun menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran mengenai prokrastinasi akademik yang dialami oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat pengumpul data berupa skala prokrastinasi akademik. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiwa prodi BK sejumlah 229 mahasiswa yang di ambil dengan cara simple random sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik persentase. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menggambarkan kondisi prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa pada kategori sangat tinggi sebesar 6%, kategori tinggi 81%, kategori sedang 13%, kategori rendah 0%. Prokrastinasi akademik yang dialami oleh mahasiswa tersebut terdiri dari beberapa aspek antara lain keyakinan akan kemampuan, ganggaun perhatian, faktor sosial, manajemen waktu, inisiatif, pribadi, dan kemalasan.AbstractAcademic procrastination is a procrastinating behavior of doing or completing academic tasks. This study aims to provide an overview of the academic procrastination experienced by students. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach. This study uses data collection tool in the form of academic procrastination scales. The subjects used in this study are students of guidance and counseling program of 229 students taken by simple random sampling. Data analysis in this research using percentage technique. The results obtained in this study describes the condition of student academic procrastination in very high category of 6%, high category 81%, medium category 13%, low category 0%. The academic procrastination experienced by the student consists of several aspects such as belief in ability, attention disturbance, social factors, time management, initiative, personal, and laziness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of academic self-concept of new students Study Program Guidance and Counseling Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. This research is a kind of quantitative research with descriptive method. The instrument used in this research is academic self-concept scale. Subjects in this study amounted to 53 students of Study Program Guidance and Counseling Universitas Ahmad Dahlan taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis in this research use descriptive statistic with percentage technique. The results showed that 50.9% of students had high academic self-concept, and the remaining 49.1% of students had low academic self-concept. Students with low academic self-concept have average grades below 146.3. The results of this study are useful for lecturers, and college counselors as a consideration to facilitate students in developing positive academic self-concept.

Abstract

Self-control is an important part of the education system according to Law No. 20 of 2003. Junior high school students often face various problems, including self-control. One of the important roles in helping students to have knowledge related to self-control is the guidance and counseling teacher with innovative, creative, and interactive media. The purpose of this research is to develop a monopoly game of Cirebon mask on self-control that can be used in guidance and counseling services, especially in group guidance services. This study uses a research and development (RnD) type referring to the research model developed by Borg and Gall. This study only uses 5 stages, namely: potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, and design revision. The instrument in this study used an assessment sheet to be filled out by media experts, material experts and service experts as service subjects. This research was conducted a validation test by three experts, namely material experts, media experts, and service experts. The results obtained from the material expert validation test were 93 in the very good category. The results of the media expert validation test obtained a score of 95 in the very good category. While the results of the service expert validation test obtained a value of 90.6 with a very good category. So it can be concluded that the Cirebon mask monopoly game media about student self-control is suitable for use in guidance and counseling services. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services self-management techniques to reduce the intensity of smartphone use. This type of research is an experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sampling technique used purposive sampling with 6 students. Based on the paired test results, the t test sample showed the results that t-count (6.564) ≥ t-table (2.015), this shows that group counseling services, self-management techniques have proven effective in reducing the intensity of smartphone use in students. Furthermore, for teacher recommendations, guidance and counseling, schools can implement and develop group counseling, self-management techniques as an alternative strategy to reduce the intensity of smartphone use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perilaku prososial peserta didik kelas VII F SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta dengan melalui bimbingan klasikal teknik sosiodrama. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) dengan model spiral yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII F sebanyak 32 siswa, yang memiliki kecenderungan perilaku prososial rendah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu skala perilaku prososial dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan klasikal dengan teknik sosiodrama dapat meningkatkan perilaku prososial peserta didik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan peningkatan skor pada setiap siklus. Hasil skor rata-rata dari skala prilaku prososial saat pra siklus sebesar 136,5, kemudian meningkat menjadi 150,6 pada siklus I. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 165 dan telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan pada kategori tinggi yaitu berada pada rentang skor antara 153 sampai 204. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan dalam bidang Bimbingan dan Konseling mengenai upaya peningkatan perilaku prososial melalui bimbingan klasikal teknik sosiodrama.

Abstract

This Guidance and Counseling Action Research was conducted with the aim of overcoming students' porn addiction through individual counseling services with cognitive restructuring techniques. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method in Guidance and Counseling. The subject of this study was a student of SMP N 2 Sewon Class VII who was taken by purposive sampling. This research was conducted in 2 cycles of stages with the administration of tests in each cycle. Data collection techniques are interviews and pornography addiction scales. The method of data analysis used quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques with standard deviation and percentage. The results of this guidance and counseling action research based on the results of pre-test, post-test I and post-test II on the aspects of onlien pornography = 34 (high) to 23 (quite low) to 18 (low); talking porn = 23 (quite high) to 17 (quite low) to 13 (low), and influencing factors = 50 (high) to 37 (quite low) to 28 (low). The results of data analysis obtained from this study indicate a reduction in pornography addiction after individual counseling services using cognitive restructuring techniques. The results of this study can be used as a reference for handling pornography addiction in schools.
