Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged business owners, including grocery stores, to adopt Point of Sale (POS) systems that improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. This study designs and develops a website-based cashier system for grocery stores equipped with barcode scanner support using the Agile Development method. The system helps manage product stock in real time, process sales transactions, and generate reports while minimizing errors commonly found in manual recording. The development process uses Laravel as the backend framework, Tailwind CSS for the user interface, and PostgreSQL as the database. The Agile method ensures flexibility through iterative cycles and continuous evaluation. System testing uses the black-box method to verify that all functionalities work as expected, along with a feasibility test based on the ISO 9126 standard to evaluate usability, functionality, and efficiency. The results indicate that the system effectively supports grocery stores in managing transactions and inventory while providing accurate and reliable sales reports

Abstract

Social media platforms have become significant sources of public opinion regarding various issues, including tourism activities. This study analyzes public sentiment towards foreign climbers on Mount Rinjani through X (Twitter) social media posts using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest algorithms. Data collection employed web scraping techniques with six relevant keywords, resulting in 4,777 unique tweets after cleaning and duplicate removal. The lexicon-based labeling approach revealed an imbalanced distribution with 63.58% negative sentiment, 18.8% positive sentiment, and 17.63% neutral sentiment. To address class imbalance, Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) was applied, creating a balanced dataset of 9,111 samples. Text preprocessing included case folding, normalization, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming using Indonesian language tools. Feature extraction utilized TF-IDF vectorization with parameters optimized for Indonesian text analysis. The dataset was split into 70% training, 15% validation, and 15% testing using stratified sampling. Evaluation results demonstrated that SVM achieved superior performance with 95.7% accuracy, 96% precision, 95.7% recall, and 95.7% F1-score, while Random Forest achieved 94.4% accuracy, 94.4% precision, 94.4% recall, and 94.4% F1-score. The dominance of negative sentiment indicates public concerns regarding foreign climbing activities that require stakeholder attention. This research contributes to sentiment analysis methodology for Indonesian social media text and provides practical insights for sustainable tourism management in Mount Rinjani National Park

Abstract

The development of information technology has increased the need for digitalization in services for event organizers and vendors. Irsada Event Group, a provider of event equipment in Lamongan, previously relied on a manual system, which often caused problems such as unstructured data recording, risk of data loss, and delays in service. This study aims to develop a web-based information system for vendor management and ordering to improve operational efficiency. The system was developed using the prototype model, allowing direct collaboration with users during the design and testing stages. Laravel 11 was used as the framework, supported by a PostgreSQL database. The system offers core features such as login, registration, product ordering, payment confirmation, product management, and customer reviews. Evaluation was conducted using Black Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS), resulting in 77%, indicating that the system is in the “good” category. Abstract

Membaca merupakan bagian penting yang harus diajarkan kepada anak-anak sejak usia muda. Namun, fakta bahwa SD Islam Al Furqon Surabaya masih terdapat siswa di kelas 1 SD yang belum bisa membaca sehingga membuat guru di SD Islam Al-Furqon kesulitan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dibuatkanlah sistem informasi membaca berbasis web. Sistem ini memberikan materi-materi yang telah disediakan oleh guru bahasa inggris di SD Islam Al-Furqon Surabaya. Sistem ini menggunakan model prototype dimana model prototype ini merupakan tahapan untuk mempresentasikan ide dari sebuah rancangan. karena model ini model yang membutuhkan keaktifan komunikasi pengguna dalam mengembangkan sistem. Selain itu, prototype memiliki kelebihan kualitas dan keadaan yang terlihat dari awal pengembangan, mendapat kan hasil yang efisien, dan biaya yang murah. Peneliti telah berhasil mengembangkan aplikasi sistem informasi belajar membaca bahasa inggris kelas 1 SD Islam Al-Furqon Surabaya berbasis website dengan menggunakan model prototype. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan peneliti juga telah di uji kelayakannya dengan menggunakan ISO 9126, dimana hasil Functionabiity sebesar 95,76% dengan kategori sangat berfungsi, Reliability sebesar 93,33% dengan kategori sangat andal, Efficiency sebesar 93,89% dengan kategori sangat efisien, Maintainability sebesar 91,89% dengan kategori sangat terpelihara, Portability sebesar 95,56% dengan kategori sangat portabilitas, dan Usability sebesar 95,27% dengan kategori sangat berguna, dan total rata-rata yang didapatkan adalah 94,33% dengan kategori interval sangat baik. Dari hasil uji coba selama satu bulan, siswa dapat semakin bisa membaca atau melafalkan kosa-kata atau materi bahasa inggris dan dinilai dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar membaca bahasa inggris.
