Abstract

Health education is a process to increase capacity in an effort to protect and maintain public health as a step in preventing the transmission of Covid-19. The media that can be used in implementing health education include: leaflets, brochures, seminars, video media, comic media, etc. that make it easier for people to understand and implement health protocols. Objective: To describe the effect of health education on people's knowledge, attitudes, and adherence to health protocols. Methods: This study uses a literature review on 5 articles by searching the Google Scholar database. The keywords used are through the analysis of the objectives, the suitability of the topic, the research methods used, the results of each article, and the limitations that occur. the journals reviewed are from 2015-2021. Results: From the results of the research reviewed, it shows that from various health education media, animated video is the most effective media because using animated videos makes it easier for respondents to understand and carry out health protocols that have an effect on changing knowledge, attitudes, and community compliance with health protocols. Conclusion: Health education improves people's knowledge, attitudes, and adherence to health protocols.

Abstract

Introduction : Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that attacks white blood cells and weakens the human immune system. Meanwhile, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a group of symptoms that arise due to weakening of the immune system caused by infection with HIV. Adolescence is the peak transition period which is at risk of sexual behavior and delinquency because the emotional state of teenagers is still unstable, wanting to try something new and their curiosity is high. Having knowledge about HIV-AIDS can influence teenagers to act according to the knowledge they have gained. Good knowledge will have an impact on good attitudes as well. Digital storytelling is a modern learning media that combines various types of learning media, namely images, music, stories and sound. and what is unique is that digital storytelling can be provided in digital form and then uploaded to various social media platforms, so that digital storytelling can be accessed by anyone, anytime, anywhere, and in various conditions. Research objective : to determine the effect of education on increasing teenagers' knowledge and attitudes about HIV-AIDS using digital storytelling and leaflet media at the Kalasey State Agricultural Development Vocational School. Method : This research design used a Quasy Experiment with 84 teenagers from the Kalasey State Agricultural Development Vocational School as samples, selected through simple random sampling. Conclusion : The results of the Wilcoxon test show that the knowledge value is Pvalue = 0.008 or (P <0.05) and the attitude value is Pvalue = 0.000 or (P <0.05). So it can be said that there is an educational influence on increasing teenagers' knowledge and attitudes about HIV-AIDS using digital storytelling media at Kalsey State Agricultural Development Vocational School. Abstract

Orang lanjut usia (Lansia) merupakan kelompok usia yang rentan mengalami masalah kesehatan, terutama risiko jatuh yang dapat berdampak pada kualitas hidup. Upaya pencegahan risiko jatuh dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan kursi ergonomis dan latihan elastic band. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia tentang kursi ergonomis, melatih penggunaan kursi ergonomis dan elastic band, serta menilai manfaatnya terhadap pencegahan risiko jatuh. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di Desa Bojonegoro Kecamatan Maesaan Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan. Peserta dalam pelaksanaan Program pengembangan desa mitra ini terdiri dari orang lanjut usia (Lansia)sebanyak 30 orang. Metode kegiatan meliputi pretest, penyuluhan, pelatihan, penilaian kekuatan otot, keseimbangan, fleksibilitas, mobilitas, dan posttest. Hasil kegiatan, mayoritas peserta adalah perempuan (80,0%) berusia 60–65 tahun (73,3%), dan lebih dari sepertiga mengalami hipertensi. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan setelah penyuluhan, yang kategori pengetahuan “baik” meningkat dari 23,5% menjadi 55,5%, dan yang berpengetahuan cukup sebanyak 21,5%, dan tidak ada lagi yang berpengetahuan kurang. Latihan elastic band menunjukkan mayoritas peserta berada pada kategori baik dalam aspek kekuatan otot (60%), mobilitas (58%), keseimbangan (55%), dan fleksibilitas (50%). Peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Kesimpulannya, kursi ergonomis dan latihan elastic band efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, kekuatan fisik, serta mencegah risiko jatuh pada lansia. Di rekomendasikan agar Lansia sebaiknya menggunakan kursi ergonomis di rumah dan melakukan latihan elastic band secara rutin.
