Abstract

Learning Indonesian is not only learning languages but also studying literature. Literary learning is also very important with the aim of giving a sense of love to literature and making students have the ability to appreciate and be able to judge the results of literary works. One aspect taught in learning literature is writing poetry. The motive of the importance of the learning process of writing poetry literary works for students is to improve reading and writing skills which can be used as a routine activity to improve achievement. Based on the results of observations on the learning patterns of Literature of Class students at X IPS 3 Pekanbaru of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru, students' poetry writing skills were still low. Students had difficulty in determining ideas, diction, and the first word in writing poetry. The achievement of the indicator editing poetry in accordance with the elements of poetry was not maximal, students were confused in determining diction and language style. It took a solution to these problems through innovation in the application of learning models. Pararrel writing based learning based on the imagination of abstract objects was one solution that can improve the power of writing poetry. So, this study aimed to improve students' poetry writing skills. The method used in this study was class action research with two cycles approach. Abstract

Introduction: Andrographis paniculata had known contained active substance such as andrographolida, atsiri oil, flavonoid, tannin, alkaloid, and saponin which functions as antibacterial, antitoxic, analgesic, and anti-pyretic. Based on its antibacterial properties, an ointment form of Andrographis paniculata leaf is then formulated, for practical usage. Ointment formula is semi solid for topical use in the skin or mucosal membranes. Objectives: to know the result of ointment physical test of etanolic extract Andrographis paniculata leaf. Methods: physical tests contain organoleptic test, pH, homogenity, adhesion test and dispersive test. Results: Ointment shaped semi solid, blacky green and special smell of Andrographis paniculata, pH 6, homogenity test obtained homogenous results, adhesion test was 82 second and dispersive test was 5.6 cm. Conclusion: the result of physical tests of etanolic Andrographis paniculata leaf extract ointment appropriate with quality standard.

Abstract

Evaluation of seismometer health is crucial in accurately detecting earthquake and tsunami events. Currently, seismometer health evaluation is based solely on data quality unrelated to seismometer sensor performance. While seismometers are essential for tracking seismic activity, environmental factors, aging components, and external interference can cause seismometers to function worse over time. This study presents a seismometer health diagnosis technique based on seismic signal analysis, including signal truncation, signal resampling, filtering, and deconvolution of instrument response. Then the proposed method of cross-spectral density coherence to extract seismometer sensor health indicators performed on two adjacent broadband seismic stations by analyzing the frequency domain with a maximum inter-station distance of 100 km. The data used are seismic signals recorded on three-component seismometers (North-South, East-West, Z-Vertical). The coherence value of cross-spectral density is used as an indicator to diagnose seismometer health. The proposed method was evaluated on a seismic network in Indonesia consisting of 88 stations and a teleseismic earthquake event in Honshu, Japan. The coherence values of almost all tested stations are above 0.8, which means good performance. The proposed method is suitable for analyzing the health of seismometers, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

Conventional learning results in low mastery of early childhood skills, so the use of digital media is necessary in the learning process. This research aims to develop and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital-based learning media in the form of e-comics at Kindergarten. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validation was conducted by three experts, and the trial subjects were students at Pembina II State Kindergarten, Batam City. Data collection was conducted through validation, practicality, and effectiveness questionnaires, and then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The research results indicate that the developed e-comic media is highly suitable for use, with validation results from subject matter experts at 100%, language experts at 90.4%, and media experts at 90%. The response from educators and students towards this media is also very positive. The practicality test obtained a percentage of 88.6% (very practical category), while the effectiveness test showed a figure of 88.75% (very effective category). Thus, the developed e-comic has proven to be valid, practical, and effective in enhancing the vocabulary of early childhood children and is suitable for use as a learning medium in kindergartens.
