Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh  Strategi Story Maps Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Cerpen Siswa Kelas IX SMP Yayasan Harapan Ibu. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Posttes-Only Control Design dengan menggunakan tes akhir pada kelas eksperimen berjumlah 30 siswa dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes, teknik wawancara. Diperoleh nilai tes akhir kelas eksperimen rata-rata 83,20. Nilai akhir rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 73,36. Hal ini diperoleh dari hasil hitungan secara statistik pada uji t, hasil  = 5,480 dengan dk = 29 pada taraf signifikan 0,05% sehingga dk = 2,04 jadi  ≥   = 5,480 ≥ 2,04 sehingga  dinyatakan signifikan. Dapat dinyatakan Ho ditolak Ha diterima, yang berarti pengaruh yang signifikan strategi pembelajaran story maps terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen. Selanjutnya pada uji homogenitas variabel penelitian diketahui nilai Levene Statistic sebesar 0,05, sedangkan nilai signifikan lebih besar dari 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,060. Karena harga sig > 0,05 maka hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa data diperoleh  dari populasi yang homogen. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang peneliti kemukakan adalah “Terdapat Pengaruh  Strategi Story Maps Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Cerpen Siswa Kelas IX SMP Yayasan Harapan Ibu” terbukti kebenarannya

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana wujud kebudayaan dan unsur-unsur kebudayaan dalam cerita rakyat Ogan Komering Ilir, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, sumber data yang digunakan adalah paragraf  dalam buku Cerita Rakyat Ogan Komering Ilir yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2007, tebal buku 91 lembar, penerbit Dinas kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Tekhnik keabsahan data dalam penulisan ini menggunakan triangulasi teori dan penelitian menunjukan tentang wujud kebudayaan dan unsur-unsur kebudayaan dalam Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Ogan Komering Ilir. Menggunakan kajian antropologi sastra yaitu cara mempelajari sastra dengan relevansinya manusia dengan mengunakan teori koentjaraningrat. Berdasarkan penelitian ini ditemukan berupa kompleksitas ide dan peraturan, kompleksitas aktivitas, dan kompleksitas hasil karya manusia. Ditemukan juga tujuh unsur-unsur kebudayaan yaitu, bahasa, sistem pengetahuan, sistem kemasyarakatan atau organisasi sosial, sistem peralatan hidup dan teknologi, sistem mata pencaharian hidup, sistem religi dan kesenian.

Abstract

Ekranisasi merupakan pelayar putihan atau peralihan novel menjadi sebuah film yang memungkinkan adanya perbedaan pada aspek tertentu di antara keduanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrisikan bagaimanakah proses penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan atau variasi pada tokoh, cerita, dan suasananya. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan intertekstualitas. Sumber data  penelitian ini ialah novel dan film yang berjudul Layangan Putus. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya proses ekranisasi pada novel Layangan Putus ke bentuk film Layangan Putus yaitu aspek penciutan berjumlah 20 tokoh, penambahan berjumlah 27 tokoh, dan perubahan bervariasi berjumlah 9 tokoh. Ekranisasi cerita dalam novel Layangan Putus ke bentuk film Layangan Putus yaitu aspek penciutan berjumlah 17 cerita, penambahan berjumlah 13 cerita dan perubahan bervariasi berjumlah 15 cerita. Ekranisasi suasana dalam novel Layangan Putus ke bentuk film Layangan Putus meliputi aspek penciutan berjumlah 5 suasana, penambahan berjumlah 3 suasana dan perubahan bervariasi berjumlah 1 suasana.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the ability to dribble the ball in futsal games at SMP Negeri 3 Palembang is not optimal. Some of the causes of the athlete's less than optimal dribbling ability are because in dribbling, players have not been supported by good agility, coaches have never provided agility training methods that lead to these abilities, as seen by the frequent loss of the ball by athletes while being dribbled and easily taken by opponents. The population in this study were 30 extracurricular futsal students at SMP Negeri 3 Palembang. The sample in this study was 30 extracurricular futsal students at SMP Negeri 3 Palembang. The technique for taking samples in this study used Total Sampling. This research method is Experimental research, The design in this study is "two group pretest posttest design" the results of Hypothesis H1 in this study where the results of the t-test are known that the t-count value is 6.770 while T table α 0.05 (15-1) = 14 is 1.761, because the t-count value> t table (6.770> 1.761), this means that there is an influence, namely HA 1: There is an influence of ball feeling training on the ability to dribble the ball in futsal players at SMP Negeri 3 Palembang, the results of the second hypothesis t-test H2 are known that the t-count value is 4.297 while T table α 0.05 (15-1) = 14 is 1.761, because the t-count value> t table (4.297> 1.761), this means that there is an influence, namely HA 2: There is an influence of ball agility training on the ability to dribble the ball in futsal players SMP Negeri 3 Palembang, the results of the third hypothesis t-test H3 that the t-value of the pretest-posttest ball feeling is greater, namely 6,770, than the t-value of the pretest-posttest agility, namely 4,297, then this means that ball feeling training is more effective than agility training in improving dribbling skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Nicco Machi's novel "Rata" through a sociological approach to literature, incorporating Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism theory. The background of this research is based on the view that literary works reflect the social structures and class ideologies that gave rise to them. The novel "Rata" depicts the realities of urban life, with its diverse social strata, economic conflicts, and existential problems faced by its characters. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. Data were collected through in-depth reading of the text, identifying units of social meaning, and interpreting the narrative structure, which reflects the relationship between individuals and society. The results indicate that the novel portrays social inequality, individual alienation due to economic pressures, and identity struggles in the modern urban space. The narrative structure and characters in the novel "Rata" reflect the collective consciousness of the middle class, caught between idealism and materialistic reality. Thus, this work can be read as a social representation of changing values ​​and power relations in contemporary Indonesian urban society.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the descriptive writing skills of fifth-grade elementary school students through the use of picture media. The research was motivated by the low level of students’ descriptive writing ability, such as difficulties in expressing ideas, limited vocabulary, and a lack of coherence in paragraph organization. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The participants were 28 fifth- grade students of SDN 10 sembawa selected purposively. Data were collected through writing tests, classroom observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using both qualitative descriptive and quantitative methods. The findings reveal that the use of picture media helps students observe objects in detail, enrich their vocabulary, and stimulate their imagination to construct more coherent descriptive paragraphs. The average score of students’ descriptive writing improved from 65 in the pre-cycle to 76 in the first cycle and 86 in the second cycle. This significant increase demonstrates that picture media effectively supports students in developing ideas and expressing them in well-structured written form. Moreover, students showed higher enthusiasm and motivation during the learning process. The study recommends that Indonesian language teachers integrate picture media as an alternative and engaging strategy for teaching descriptive writing, enabling learning objectives to be achieved more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' speaking skills through the Role Playing learning model in class VIII.8 SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which uses quantitative data and is carried out in 2 (two) cycles. The subjects of this study were 36 students consisting of 15 boys and 21 girls. The data collection techniques used are observation (observation sheet), and tests (role play). Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate that, the speaking skills of students after applying the Role Playing learning model at SMP Negeri 7 Palembang have increased from cycle I which obtained a percentage of 41%, the category is very lacking. Then experienced an increase in cycle II, which obtained a percentage of 86.11% in the good category.

Abstract

This research was created to improve the quality of learning in class, low motivation in Indonesian language subjects in class VIII.9 of SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. Based on preliminary studies through observation, students have low learning motivation. Continuous learning without any innovation makes students' motivation levels low. With this research, researchers combined the Project Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CTR) approach. The Culturally Responsive Teaching (CTR) approach is an approach to learning that highlights the background and culture of students to be used or promoted through the material being taught, so that student involvement in learning makes the teaching and learning process more enjoyable. This research is a type of classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles. The research results show that there has been an increase in students' learning motivation obtained through motivation questionnaires. Significant results can be seen from the percentage obtained in cycle 1 which was only 73%, while in cycle 2 it was 85%. This shows that the Project Based Learning (PBL) learning model combined with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CTR) approach is effective in increasing students' learning motivation, and the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CTR) approach makes learning more innovative.
