Abstract

Abstract: The Segeri Society has a sacrosanct local knowledge system about animism, dynamism, and Sufism. It is manifested into the cosmological form that put nature and human beings as God's creatures that need each other. Therefore, Segeri people appreciate the natural environment. This research intends to reveal their local knowledge of the environment. The research was categorized into qualitative approach and it employed phenomenological research design. In collecting the data, the researcher utilized in-depth interview techniques and observations. Sources of data research were several informants namely: 'Bissu' that has authority over local belief and knowledge; 'Pananrang' that has authority of knowledge of astronomy; and 'Pallaoruma' who have the authority of knowledge about traditional farming. Local knowledge of Segeri people based on its relation to the natural environment (natural signs) and the non-natural environment (belief). Due to the emerge of Islamic Sufism, this knowledge is acculturated. Therefore, their environmental knowledge contains a sacred value called eco-prophetic. The existence of the value of sacredness in the local knowledge can be an inquiry for the modern science expert in returning the essence of science.الملخص: مجتمع سيجيري لديهم نظام المعرفة المحلية التوقيفية بين الوثنية والدينامية والصوفية. تتجلّى هذه المعرفة في شكل علم الكونيات الذي يضع الطبيعة والبشر كمخلوقات الله التي يحتاج بعضها إلى بعض. فبالتالي فإن مجتمع سيجري يقدرون بعمق البيئة الطبيعية. وبالتالى تهدف هذه المقالة إلى الكشف عن معارفهم البيئة المحلية. لذلك، يتم استخدام طريقة نوعية مع نهج الظواهر. استخدمت الدراسة لجمع البيانات تقنيات المقابلة المتعمقة والملاحظات. ومصادر البيانات البحثية هم المخبرون : "بيسو" الذي لديه سلطة على المعتقدات والمعرفة المحلية ، " باناترانج " الذين لديهم سلطة المعرفة بعلم الفلك، و "بالاروما" الذين لديهم سلطة المعرفة حول الزراعة التقليدية. تعتمد المعرفة المحلية لمجتمع سيجري على علاقتهم بالبيئة الطبيعية ( الاشارات الطبيعية) والبيئة غير الطبيعية ( الاعتقاد ). هذه المعرفة تصبح فريدة من نوعها بعد أن صحبت الصوفية الإسلامية. وبالتالي  فإن معرفتهم للبيئة تحتوى على قيمة مقدّسة بحيث يطلق عليه بالايكولوجية النبوية. وقيمة المقدسة من المعرفة المحلية يمكن أن تكون مادة دراسية لمحبّى العلوم الحديثة في استعادة جوهر  العلم.Abstrak: Masyarakat Segeri memiliki sistem pengetahuan lokal sinkretis antara animisme, dinamisme, dan sufisme. Pengetahuan tersebut terwujud dalam bentuk kosmologi yang menempatkan alam dan manusia sebagai makhluk Tuhan yang saling membutuhkan. Oleh karenanya, masyarakat Segeri sangat menghargai lingkungan alam. Untuk itu, tulisan ini bermaksud mengungkapkan pengetahuan lokal mereka terkait lingkungan. Untuk itu, digunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam dan pengamatan. Sumber data penelitian adalah informan yaitu: ‘Bissu’ yang memiliki otoritas atas kepercayaan dan pengetahuan lokal; ‘Pananrang’ yang memiliki otoritas pengetahuan ilmu falak; dan ’Pallaoruma’ yang memiliki otoritas pengetahuan tentang pertanian tradisional. Pengetahuan lokal masyarakat Segeri didasarkan pada relasinya dengan lingkungan alam (tanda-tanda alam) dan lingkungan non-alam (kepercayaan). Pengetahuan ini menjadi unik setelah mengalami akulturasi dengan sufisme Islam. Oleh karenanya, pengetahuan lingkungan mereka mengandung nilai sakral sehingga disebut eco-profetik. Adanya nilai sakralitas dalam pengetahuan lokal tersebut dapat menjadi bahan kajian bagi pelaku sains modern dalam mengembalikan esensi ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

This article discussed about the perceptions of Administration Department students at Andi Djemma University of Palopo on religious de-radicalization and local wisdom as well as the roles of local wisdom education among the students. To answer these problems, it surveied 50 out of 150 students of Administration Department at Andi Djemma University of Palopo. It was found that; a) the students perception level on local wisdom was categorized moderate. This category means that the respondents simply knew the terms of local wisdom based on their native language labelity, not the meaning or the substances. b) The students perception level on radicalism and de-radicalization was categorized moderate. This category tends to be close with radical. It means that the students conceptually knew about modern religious views that are rational and fundamental. However, they did not realize as a form of radicalism. c) The students perception level on the roles of local wisdom education regarding the de-radicalization was categorized good. It means that the lecturers integrated the local wisdom in the learning process. It adequately contributed to the development of students thinking that serves as a comparison in counteracting radical ideology to reach the consciousness of humanity.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini berbentuk pelatihan pembuatan Alat Peraga Busy Book yang bertujuan untuk melakukan pemberdayaan konseptual dan teknis terhadap Masyarakat Prasekolah yang ada di Kota Palopo. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di Auditorium IAIN Palopo Jl. Balandai Wara Kota Palopo melalui beberapa tahapan pelaksanaan, antaralain: (1) tahap persiapan; memilih mahasiswa sebagai pendamping dan menentukan guru dari berbagai sekolah target (2) tahap pelaksanaan; melaksanakan pelatihan pembuatan Busy Book dan (3) tahap refleksi; melakukan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan. Dalam pelatihan ini, sebanyak 20 Guru TK/RA di Kota Palopo terlibat sebagai peserta pelatihan selama 2 hari yang dibimbing untuk membuat alat peraga Busy Book dari pemateri kompeten. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan antaralain: Mic, speaker, LCD Proyektor, gunting, jarum, lem bakar, benang, kertas, dan kain planel. Dari hasil analisis data penilaian prakarya dan keterlibatan peserta pada proses pelatihan diperoleh rata-rata jumlah peserta yang membuat Busy Book sesuai kriteria sebanyak 17 (85%) peserta dan sebanyak 18 atau (89%) peserta telah terlibat aktif dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan.

Abstract

This reseach focuses on the problem, there are: 1) is there affect of the madrasah head leadership on learning culture and learning achievement of students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Palopo, 2) is there a relationship between the learning culture and student achievement in learning with the head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Palopo State Leaders. This research uses quantitative research and the analysis formula of Simple Linear Regression or often referred to as SLR (Simple Linear Regression). The data of this research are in the form of madrasah principals leadership in developing student learning culture and student achievement. The population of this research was 838 student. There are 27 classes. The researcher took 100 students as sample of research. The variable of the research are madrasah principals leadership as the independent variable (x). While those as the dependent variables are learning culture (Y1) and learning achievement (Y2). Base on the result of the t test calcutaion. Analysis shows that there is a significant influence of variables (x) on learning culture (Y1) and learning achievement (Y2). It evidences by the result of the calculation of t count of 1,075 and 283 compare to t table (df =100) which is 0,667 significant level of 5%. So when thitung > ttabel them H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. It means that there is an influence of madrasah leadership between culture of learning  and learning achievement of students with the head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) palopo. The implivation of this researh to accept a positive learning culture and learning avhievement to relate with the students’ personal personaly talents, and the absorption of a negative culture will have implicatins that can be derrimental to individual and others in the palopo Aliyah Negeri Madrasah (MAN) environment.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the principal management program in improving teacher performance during covid 19 learning at SD Negeri 030 Sabbang Loang, Baebunta District, North Luwu Regency, 2) find out the application of principal management in improving teacher performance during covid 19 at SD Negeri 030 Sabbang Loang, Baebunta District, North Luwu Regency, 3) knowing the results and evaluations faced by teachers during the learning process on covid 19 at SD Negeri 030 Sabbang Loang, Baebunta District, North Luwu Regency. The research method uses a qualitative approach; this type of research uses descriptive research. For data collection, researchers used interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the problems obtained by researchers are as follows: 1) the principal management program in improving teacher performance during the covid 19 period, the next program carried out by the school is offline to provide convenience to students who do not have technological equipment such as android phones or networks. This program is carried out during the pandemic so that the learning process can continue to run well. Abstract

This article discusses the Strategy of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Guiding Prayer Practices in Darussalam Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools. The main topics of discussion in this study are: How is the implementation of coaching the practice of prayer to students at the Darussalam Integrated Islamic Elementary School? How is Islamic Religious Education teachers' strategy in fostering prayer practice at the Darussalam Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Palopo City? How are the obstacles and solutions given by the Religious Education teacher Islam in fostering the practice of prayer at the Darussalam Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Palopo City? This study aims to: determine the implementation of coaching students' prayer practice; knowing the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering students' prayer practice; knowing the obstacles and solutions for Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering the practice of prayer at the Darussalam Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Palopo City. This research is descriptive qualitative research that uses a pedagogical and psychological approach. The author uses data collection techniques, among others, by making direct observations at the author's research location, interviewing Islamic Religious Education teachers, staff, and students, making documentation and collecting school documents, data analysis, data reduction, triangulation techniques, and presenting data and drawing a conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the development of the practice of prayer for students at the Darussalam Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Palopo City runs as much as possible by using the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers, namely by providing prayer guidance materials through the provision of materials and direct practice as well as students and teachers correcting reading errors and the student prayer movement, the obstacle faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers is the lack of parental supervision of students in participating in the current face-to-face learning program. The solution is to provide controlled learning both from school and from home to students by collaborating with parents of students and carrying out very strict health protocols.

Abstract

Research on the development of media translating the Qur'an was made to determine the need, design, and validity of learning media solving in the learning material of the Qur'an and Hadith in class III MI Dato Sulaiman Palopo. This research method is a research and development (RD) method. The development model used in this development is the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation), but it was only carried out to the development stage in this study. The subject of this research involved 30 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document searches analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The needs analysis results show that students need interesting symbols/pictures as learning media and add lesson content well. Learning media is designed by integrating multi-representation in Sempokas media. The feasibility of media teaching materials translating the Qur'an was carried out with the assessment of media experts with a grade level (89.5%), material experts (95.8%), linguists (91.6%), and subject teachers (96, 4%) excellent category. Thus, Sempokas media can be applied in learning to understand and translate Surah Al Ikhlas

Abstract

This research discusses the Problems of Limited Face-to-Face Learning in Islamic Religious Education Subject for Students at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. This study aims to (a) find out the application of limited face-to-face learning on Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects to the students of UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. (b) knowing the problems of limited face-to-face learning on Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo (c) limited face-to-face learning solutions for Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects for students at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research location is UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. Subjects and objects of research are educators and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, the data processing techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing as well as data verification and analysis. The results showed that UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo implemented a hybrid learning system, namely a limited face-to-face learning system and online learning with odd-even sessions. Problems in the limited face-to-face from educators are the limitations in controlling students who take online learning, the concentration is divided so that it is less focused, the delivery of material seems rushed because of the limited time duration. Meanwhile, from students, there are demands to adapt to the type of learning they receive. Problems in learning religious education are the lack of students' understanding of the material provided, lack of motivation, there are still students who are not proficient in reading and memorizing prayers in the material for handling corpses. Efforts to overcome the problems of Limit. Face-to-Face Learning, namely for students who have a turn to study online, the learning model is in the form of presenting short material in the form of important points through WA groups or other applications and dominant in assignments. Meanwhile, those who get a face-to-face turn are limited to focusing on explanations and deepening of material and discussions. Persuasive approach, giving advice, enthusiasm and motivation.
