Abstract

Embungkalimati was a water building which utilize the stream water remains. Embung is located in Bapangan village, Jepara district. Embung establishment is functionate to supply people needs of water sources. Embungkalimati has 280 m of length with depth excavation upstream between 4,80 m and downstream about 2,60 m with wide of pool storage 22.950 m2. Embungkalimati could save 115.890 m3 of water volume. The capacity of water storage is 107.000m3. this study is purpose to calculate the costs of embung’s establishment, to find out the benefits and analixing the economic feasibility. Economic feasibility is calculated by comparing the benefits and the costs of benefits and costs rasio (B/C). The result of this study found that the costs of establishment is Rp 21.964.132.000,00. The calculate of the costs based on the price tag of water is B/C>1, it can be obtained the costs water Rp2.280/m3 for B/C 1,07, IRR 11%, the sensitivity is increase up to 10% and the benefits decrease up to 10% which is can be said that it was impact to the value of the costs and benefits. The Payback Period is still the same with the 8th year. So, it can be concluded that the project of Embungkalimati’s establishment project was appropriate for economics. Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja yang cukup tinggi didalam suatu proyek sehingga kejadian tersebut akan memberikan dampak buruk bagi kinerja proyek yaitu kerugian. Pelaksanaan setiap proyek yang dikerjakan tentunya membutuhkan penjadwalan dan system kerja dengan aman, oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya penerapan keselamatan kerja. Metode pengabdian yaitu memberikan paparan informasi tentang sistem tanggap daruat, serta sharing diskusi antara tim K3 dan pekerja, persiapan alat simulasi tanggap daruat yang akan digunakan sebagai media pelengkap kebutuhan praktek lapangan, dan memberikan simulasi araha tentang sistem tanggap darurat langsung aktual di lapangan. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di Proyek Bendungan Jlantah Kabupaten Karanganyar, sasaran warga sekitar bendungan sebagai pekerja proyek. Program tanggap darurat bencana Gempa diharapkan dapat memberikan ketenangan dan rasa aman kepada pekerja ketika berada dilingungan proyek. Upaya dalam mendukung program K3 Proyek tanggap darurat bencana diharapkan mampu mengarahkan pekerja dalam menumbuhkan rasa tenang dan aman. penerapan pentingnya pelaksanaan K3 harus benar-benar dilaksanakan demi keamanan dan keselamatan kerja didalam suatu proyek.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan aksesoris bros dari sampah plastik bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan wirausaha di kalangan siswa Madrasah Ibtida’iyah (MI) Hidayatul Insan Karanganyar. Program ini melibatkan dosen dari Program Studi Teknik Industri  dan Teknik Sipil yang memberikan pelatihan tentang cara mengolah sampah plastik khususnya sampah sedotan, menjadi aksesoris bros yang memiliki nilai jual. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan teknik ceramah dan praktik langsung. Selama pelatihan, siswa belajar cara memotong, melengkungkan, dan menyatukan sedotan plastik untuk menciptakan aksesoris bros yang menarik. Hasil dari program ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan wirausaha siswa, peningkatan pengetahuan tentang cara mengelola sampah plastik, dan potensi untuk menghasilkan pendapatan dari produk aksesoris bros yang dihasilkan. Selain itu, program ini juga membantu mengatasi masalah sampah plastik dengan mengubahnya menjadi produk bernilai. Rekomendasi kebijakan melibatkan lebih banyak pihak dalam mendukung program serupa di masa depan, meningkatkan pemasaran produk siswa, dan terus mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pengelolaan sampah plastik dan praktik ramah lingkungan. Dengan langkah-langkah ini, program pelatihan aksesoris bros dari sampah plastik dapat terus berkontribusi pada pengembangan keterampilan wirausaha siswa dan penanganan sampah plastik yang lebih berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The blacksmith business in Segaran Village, Delanggu Subdistrict, Klaten Regency is one of the SMEs with high economic potential but lacks in the implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards. This condition leads to high risks of workplace accidents such as burns, sharp tool injuries, and exposure to fumes and extreme heat. This community service activity aimed to enhance the awareness and capacity of SME actors in applying OHS principles through socialization and direct assistance. The methods included observation, interviews, education, PPE usage simulations, and behavior change monitoring. The results indicated an increase in OHS awareness and practices, including the use of personal protective equipment and better workspace organization. The assistance encouraged the creation of a safer and more sustainable work culture. This activity had a positive impact on the productivity and safety of blacksmith SME workers.

Abstract

The dam foundation is a basic structure that meets the requirements as a supporting sector for dam construction and ensures safety against one of the serious threats in the form of seepage and Piping. Therefore, analyzing the stability of the dam foundation against seepage and Piping is necessary. This study uses the Finite Element program to analyze stability, seepage, and Piping under Normal Water Level conditions. Dam stability analysis is carried out by adding earthquake load coefficient factors OBE (Operating Basis Earthquake) and MDE (Maximum Design Earthquake). The analysis is carried out in two stages, namely the first stage without additional repairs and the second stage with additional repairs in the form of Curtain Grouting and Cut-off wall. Under Normal Water Level conditions without earthquakes or with OBE and MDE 1.00H earthquakes, the stability of the foundation in Existing conditions, Alternative 1, and Alternative 2 meets the criteria, but does not meet the MDE 0.25H, 0.50H, and 0.75H earthquakes so that dynamic analysis is required using the Makdisi-Seed method. Seepage analysis shows that the discharge in the Existing condition is 49,716.74 m³/day exceeding the permit limit of 45,000 m³/day, while Alternative 1 (255.13 m³/day) and Alternative 2 (238.55 m³/day) meet the criteria. Meanwhile, Piping analysis in Normal Water Level conditions shows that the Existing does not meet the Safety Factor, while Alternative 1 and Alternative 2 meet the criteria and are safe for Piping.

Abstract

The community service activity was carried out in Handil Maluka Village with the aim of increasing public awareness of the importance of proper sanitation and household waste management. This activity was conducted due to the community’s limited knowledge about proper sanitation, particularly regarding the crucial role of septic tanks and waste management. The methods implemented included counseling sessions, interactive discussions, and continuous monitoring after the outreach activities. The program was conducted alongside the construction of 50 septic tanks and free toilets in Handil Maluka Village. The results of the outreach activities showed an improvement in community hygiene practices, such as the establishment of waste disposal points in several areas and the implementation of better waste management. During the current rainy season, no flooding occurred, which had previously been an annual issue for the community. This activity successfully fostered community awareness of the importance of proper sanitation.

Abstract

Regional Governments in South Sumatra face difficulties in operating the E-PAKSI application for surveying irrigation conditions. This community service activity aims to enhance the capabilities of Water Resources Service personnel in South Sumatra Province, Musi Banyuasin Regency, and Banyuasin Regency in operating E-PAKSI. The method used was participatory Technical Guidance (Bimtek), with effectiveness measured via pre-test and post-test based on 14 criteria with a passing standard of 70-100. The theoretical foundation of this activity includes the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to ensure application acceptance and Participatory Action Research (PAR) as the basis for the collaborative mentoring method. The results showed a significant score increase; South Sumatra Province (70.5 to 100), Musi Banyuasin (61.75 to 100), and Banyuasin (63.5 to 100), thus all participants successfully exceeded the passing standard.
