Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan politik terhadap partisipasi politik mahasiswa PPKn Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Makassar pada pemilihan presiden tahun 2019-2024. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan sumbernya, jenis data dalam penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif yang diperoleh melalui metode kuesioner, dokumentasi dan wawancara terhadap mahasiswa yang aktif di Jurusan Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, kemudian diolah dan disajikan secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara pengetahuan politik terhadap partisipasi politik, namun pengaruh positif yang diberikan pengetahuan politik terhadap partisipasi politik Mahasiswa PPKn FIS UNM pada Pemilihan Presiden tahun 2019-2024 hanya sebesar 23%. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi (rx1y) sebesar 0,488 dan koefisien determinan (r2x1y) sebesar 0,238. 2) serta t hitung 4,878 lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 1,66462 (4,8783 > 1,6646) pada taraf signifikansi 5% serta model regresi sederhana yang terbentuk adalah Y = 0,395X1 + 13,570.Kata Kunci : Pengaruh, Pengetahuan Politik, Partisipasi Politik  Abstract :This research aims to determine the effect of political knowledge on political participation of PPKn students, Faculty of Social Sciences, Makassar State University in the 2019-2024 presidential election. This research uses a quantitative approach. Based on the source, the type of data in this research is quantitative which is obtained through the questionnaire method, documentation and interviews with active students in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Department, then processed and presented descriptively.The results showed that there was a positive influence between political knowledge on political participation, but the positive influence given by political knowledge on the political participation of PPKn FIS UNM Students in the 2019-2024 Presidential Election was only 23%. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient (rx1y) of 0.488 and the determinant coefficient (r2x1y) of 0.238. 2) and t count 4,878 is greater than t table of 1.66462 (4.8783> 1.6646) at the 5% significance level and the simple regression model formed is Y = 0.395X1 + 13.570. Keywords: Influence, Political Knowledge, Political Participation

Abstract

As social beings, humans need morals to organize their lives for the better. Morals can be shaped through parental upbringing and education at school. The formation of morals in each individual is not merely a rational act, but aims to develop human behavior that is conscious of ethics, empathy, and wisdom. One way to shape morals is through moral education aimed at the general public and academics. To develop such morality, Pancasila is used as a foundation. The implementation of moral education based on Pancasila, as emphasized in this study, is achieved through various means such as curriculum, extracurricular activities, learning models, teacher role modeling, and parental role modeling. The values of Pancasila serve as a strong foundation in shaping the morality of the younger generation in today's digital era. Referring to the literature, this article is expected to serve as a reference for universities, schools, and organizations discussing moral education in line with the practice of Pancasila values. For universities, moral education based on Pancasila serves as a platform for developing noble character. For schools, moral education based on Pancasila helps students develop the ability to process emotions and thoughts to distinguish between what is good and what is bad. For organizations, moral education based on Pancasila strengthens understanding of integrity, ethics, and good governance within an organizational context.
