Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of civics education teachers has on student morale in elementary schools. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Collecting data using interview and observation techniques. The subjects of this study were two teachers, school principals and students of citizenship education who were identified using a purposive sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that: At SDN Nanggulan the role of educators is through several indicators (1) educators as designers, (2) educators as initiators, (3) educators as motivators, (4) educators as observers, (5) educators as anti-adversators, (6) educators as models, (7) educators as evaluators, (8) educators as friends who explore with students, and (9) educators as promoters so that students become true learners. This is to ensure that civics teachers can help students develop free moral values to help students do it at school. While the supporting factors for the successful formation of moral values in students are infrastructure, regulations and teachers.

Abstract

Pembentukan karakter merupakan hal yang harus diperhatikan sejak dini. Terbentuknya karakter peserta didik yang baik tentunya dipengaruhi oleh pembiasaan-pembiasaan yang baik juga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji lebih jauh tentang bagaimana pembentukan karakter peserta didik melalui pembiasaan kegiatan keagamaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Bantul, Yogyakarta. Fokus penelitian membahas tentang pembentukan karakter peserta didik melalui kegiatan keagamaan. Adapun data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian adalah data tentang pembentukan karakter peserta didik di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Bantul. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi.  Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dengan cara snowball sampling, sehingga didapati 2 orang guru dan 5 peserta didik sebagai sampel penelitian. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa di sekolah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Bantul, Yogyakarta menerapkan kegiatan kegamaan seperti mengajarkan salat wajib tepat waktu, mengajarkan salat dhuha, mengajarkan untuk membaca Al-Qur’an sebelum kegiatan proses belajar mengajar dimulai. Tidak hanya itu, di sekolah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Bantul, Yogyakarta juga memiliki program unggulan yaitu tahfidz yang mana peserta didik diharapkan mampu menghafal ayat-ayat suci Al-Qur’an serta mengamalkanya. Pembiasaan-pembiasaan melalui aktivitas keagamaan tersebut tentunya memiliki faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Faktor pendukung kegiatan tersebut adalah guru itu sendiri sebagai suri tauladan untuk peserta didiknya. Peserta didik yang memiliki ahlak yang baik tentunya sedikit banyaknya dipengaruhi oleh didikan gurunya. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah lingkungan sosial peserta didik itu sendiri diluar lingkungan sekolah.  Diadakanya aktivitas keagamaan tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan efek yang baik dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik menjadi lebih baik. Kata kunci: Pembentukan Karakter, Aktivitas Keagamaan, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Abstract

The main key in providing direction in teaching moral learning to children, then positive and negative morals are praiseworthy, good ethics depend on the mother when providing positive moral character education, building children to become children with beautiful personality qualities. This study aims to describe how mothers educate children according to an Islamic perspective. And how do mothers make children's attitudes or characters? And how do mothers apply characteristic education according to Islam to children? The type of research is library research, in which data is collected from library materials. The study was carried out on secondary data collection with concrete steps as follows; The author reads reviews of books, journals, articles, websites or the internet, and so on. Mothers have an important role in educating children, especially in the creed of knowledge, the most important thing introduced to children is tawhid, which is the child's effort to understand and believe in the existence of God.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in elementary schools plays a vital role in fosteringstudents’ religious and empathetic character. This study investigates theeffectiveness of prophetic stories as a teaching method in PAI at SDN 1Lalonggasumeeto, Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi, to cultivate these traits. Using aqualitative case study design, the research involved 25 fifth-grade students and a PAI teacher. Data were collected through unstructured observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with sourcetriangulation for validity. Results show that stories of Prophet Muhammad SAW andProphet Yusuf AS enhance students’ religious practices, such as consistent prayerand supplication, and foster empathy through actions like sharing and reducedbullying. Challenges, including limited time and technology, were addressed throughteacher creativity and community collaboration. This study provides insights for PAIteachers to develop contextual, narrative-based learning in rural settings.
