Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran ARE (awareness, regulation and evaluation) berbasis masalah kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Model penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg & Gall. Setelah divalidasi oleh 5 validator, dilakukanlah ujicoba perorangan, ujicoba kelompok kecil dan ujicoba lapangan pada kelas XI IPA 1 sebanyak 35 peserta didik dan XI IPA 4 sebanyak 35 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi para ahli, angket respon, dan tes hasil belajar kognisi dan keterampilan metakognisi peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas perangkat pembelajaran termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran dilihat dari hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas dan respon peserta didik yang memiliki kategori positif. Keefektifan dilihat dari hasil belajar kognisi dan keterampilan metakognisi pada kedua kelas dalam kategori sedang. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif, sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce learning tools that meet the eligibility criteria based on the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study used methods of RD with a 4D development model. The study was conducted with 5 students on individual trials, 9 students on small group trials, and 35 students on limited trials. The results showed: (1) Validity, expert validation results for lesson plans, and students' worksheets were obtained at 99.3% and 87.3% (accurate); (2) Practicality, from the results of students' responses to questionnaires on individual trials of 3.44 (good), small group trials of 4.29 (good), student response questionnaires of 3.93 (good), teacher's response questionnaires on learning and lesson plans of 4.70 and 4.30 (very good) and observations of the implementation of learning using lesson plans of 4.29 (excellent); (3) The effectiveness was seen in the average N-gain score for creative thinking abilities and self-efficacy of students, namely 0.54 (medium) and 0.73 (high). Overall the development of this learning device had met the eligibility criteria to train students' creative thinking skills and self-efficacy.

Abstract

Masih banyaknya guru yang belum memahami tentang Research and Development (R&D) dan terbatasnya kemampuan guru Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Kimia Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU) dalam melaksanakan penelitian pembelajaran kimia di lingkungan lahan basah. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pelatihan R&D bagi guru MGMP Kimia Kabupaten HSU. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan para guru untuk melakukan R&D dan mengembangkan sebuah produk berupa e-modul. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Kegiatan akan dilaksanakan secara hybird baik secara online maupun offline. Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2022, sebanyak 3 (tiga) kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang R&D, dihasilkan suatu produk berupa e-modul, dan respon guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan memiliki kategori sangat baik. Pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang R&D sehingga dapat mengembangkan dan menghasilkan suatu produk berupa e-modul yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.  There are still many teachers who do not understand Research and Development (R&D) and the limited ability of the Chemistry Subject Teachers' Consultation of Hulu Sungai Utara Regency (HSU) in carrying out chemistry learning research in a wetland environment. This encourages the Community Service team to conduct training and assistance in this regard. Therefore, R&D training for Chemistry MGMP teachers in HSU District was conducted. This training activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of teachers to conduct R&D and develop a product in the form of an e-module. The method of implementing the activities includes four stages: planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection. Activities will be carried out in a hybrid manner, both online and offline. The community service activities were carried out from July-August 2022. Based on the training results, it was found that there was an increase in teachers' understanding of R&D, a product in the form of e-modules was produced, and the teacher's response to training activities was in a very good category. This training can improve teachers' understanding of R&D to develop and produce a product in the form of an e-module that can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

21st-century skills demand that learners have critical thinking and creative thinking skills, which can be used in solving problems in everyday life in chemistry learning activities. The Scientific Critical Creative Thinking (SCCrT) model is one of the constructivist learning models that can train students' critical thinking and creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between the critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills of students with the SCCrT model (experimental class) and the Direct Instruction (DI) model (control class) in learning salt hydrolysis material. Quasi-experimental research method with nonequivalent control group design, research sample class XI MIPA SMAN 10 Banjarmasin. The research data were obtained from the test results of learners' critical and creative thinking skills, then analyzed descriptively, qualitatively, and inferentially (with the SPSS program version 25). The results showed that the average critical thinking skills with the SCCrT model were higher than those of the DI model (significance value 0.001 < 0.05). The average creative thinking skills with the SCCrT model are also higher than those of the DI model (significance value 0.002 < 0.05). Thus, the SCCrT model is better than the DI model in training learners' critical thinking and creative thinking skills in learning salt hydrolysis material.

Abstract

This systematic literature review explores the application of the Problem Posing Model, a holistic educational approach, in civic education to enhance elementary school students' problem-solving abilities. By fostering a comprehensive understanding of conflict resolution and cooperative problem solving, civic skills, derived from civic knowledge, become meaningful tools in addressing national and societal issues. This review methodology involves the identification, review, evaluation, and interpretation of empirical studies conducted over the past five years (2018-2022), focused on applying a civic skills-oriented problem-posing model in elementary education. The initial search yielded approximately 250 articles from databases such as ERIC, Google Scholar, and Sinta. After a meticulous process, 20 articles, primarily from high schools and universities, were chosen for the review using three primary keywords: problem-posing models, civic skills, and problem-solving abilities. The selected articles were published in international or national educational journals, including Scopus and Sinta, adhering to specific criteria such as the focus on Civics learning strategies, addressing misconceptions about the application of problem-posing models and problem-solving, and publication within the last five years in Scopus (Q1-Q4) and Sinta (S1-S4) indexed journals. The research findings indicate that the problem-posing model enhances students' critical thinking and creativity, proving more effective than conventional teaching methods. The integration of civic skills in Civics subjects boosts students' active participation, fostering attitudes of tolerance, cooperation, and responsibility. Therefore, the application of a civic skills-oriented problem-posing model can significantly improve students' ability to analyze problems critically, demonstrating openness, tolerance, and accountability.

Abstract

Masih banyaknya guru yang belum memahami dan terbatasnya kemampuan guru MGMP Kimia Kabupaten HSU karena belum terbiasa dalam membuat artikel ilmiah. Hal ini mendorong tim pengabdian atau tim program dosen wajib mengabdi (PDWA) melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait hal tersebut. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan artikel bagi guru MGMP Kimia Kabupaten HSU. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan para guru untuk membuat artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan mengadopsi pola pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan meliputi empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara online via zoom meeting. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang cara pembuatan artikel ilmiah dan respon guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan memiiki kategori sangat baik. Pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang cara pembuatan artikel ilmiah sehingga dapat membuat dan menghasilkan suatu karya berupa artikel ilmiah yang dapat dipublikasikan.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang pengembangan e-modul berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi asam basa di MAN Katingan pada Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji kevalidan, uji kepraktisan, dan uji keefektifan e-modul yang dikembangkan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE, subjek penelitian yaitu 27 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 MAN Katingan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket, lembar observasi, dan instrumen tes. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif yaitu dengan mendeskripsikan kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul berbasis proyek. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menunjukkan e-modul yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan nilai 86,95, secara kepraktisan menunjukkan sangat praktis dengan nilai 89,38 diperoleh dari hasil respon peserta didik dan angket lembar observasi, dan secara efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa e-modul efektif dengan nilai 76,06 e-modul yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yang dilihat dari hasil pretest dengan nilai 31,02 dan memperoleh nilai posttest sebesar 83,18 sehingga mencapai peningkatan pada kategori tinggi yang ditunjukkan dengan data dari nilai N-Gain yaitu 0,76. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan e-modul berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.
