Abstract

UV radiation are divided into 3, namely UV A (400 – 315 nm), UV B (315-280 nm), UV C (280 – 100 nm). UV C radiation have the greatest effect on skin damage compared to UV A and UV B. UV radiation can reach the earth's surface, that can cause burning of the skin with signs such as redness of the skin (erythema), pain, blistering and peeling of the skin. Until now there has been no research on the effect of long exposure of UV C radiation on the erythema and melanin index, so aim this research is know about the effect of long exposure of UV C radiation on the erythema and melanine index. This research was conducted by giving exposure to rat that had been shaved with variations in exposure time, namely 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes and 20 minutes. The skin that has been exposed with UV radiation will be photographed for color analysis using a chromometer. The results showed that exposure of UV radiation for 10 minutes caused the greatest increase in the melanin and erythema index

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of research trends regarding filtration and liquid waste quality in hospitals from 2018 to 2024. Using the Google Scholar database and bibliometric analysis applications such as VOSviewer, this study identified and analyzed relevant publications with the keywords filtration, effluent, hospital, COD, BOD, and Liquid Waste Quality. The data obtained was processed with occurrence 4 and term 20 parameters to identify the main patterns and trends in the literature. The analysis results show that the number of publications has increased significantly from year to year, with peaks in 2021 and 2022. The distribution of publication types shows the dominance of research articles with 42 out of 50 publications, followed by literature reviews (3) and conference articles (4). Analysis based on country of publication revealed the dominance of Indonesia with 23 publications, followed by India and several other countries with smaller contributions. Cluster analysis based on network visualization identified four main clusters: (1) effluent quality parameters such as BOD and COD; (2) hospital effluent management; (3) effluent treatment and management; and (4) effluent quality characterization and assessment. The results of density visualization showed a high concentration of quality parameters and treatment technologies, while overlay visualization revealed a close relationship between quality parameters and effluent management. The conclusions of this study highlight the major focus on technical parameters of effluent quality and treatment technology, as well as the importance of integration between effluent management and quality evaluation in research. The findings offer valuable insights for further research and development of innovative solutions in effluent management in hospitals. Keywords: Bibliometrics, Filtration, Effluent Quality, Hospital, Network Analysis

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on patient satisfaction in hospital inpatient rooms is one of the main focuses in efforts to improve the quality of health services. Understanding the factors that influence patient satisfaction is crucial for policy makers and healthcare practitioners. Although various studies have been conducted, the global map of this research trend is still not clearly depicted. This study aims to fill this gap by conducting a bibliometric analysis of the literature related to patient satisfaction in hospitals, using a visualization approach to provide deeper insights into the dynamics of research in this area. The method used involved data collection of scholarly articles from 2014 to 2024 using Google Scholar's Publish or Perish application. A total of 50 articles were selected based on relevance to keywords such as Patient Satisfaction, Inpatient Room, Satisfaction Factors, Hospital, and Health Services. This data was then analyzed using VOSviewer to visualize the relationship between various elements in the literature through network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization. This approach mapped research trends, identified key clusters, and showed collaboration patterns and dominant topics. The results show that service quality and patient satisfaction are the main focus in the literature. Research clusters showed significant attention to basic aspects of healthcare such as hospital care and facilities, while demographic aspects and specific determinants were less explored. Citation analysis showed that articles providing comprehensive reviews or practical models received more attention. In addition, the density visualization revealed the dominance of quality of care aspects, but also showed the potential for further research on topics such as technological innovation and the impact of health policy. The conclusions of this study show that although much research has been conducted, there are still significant research gaps that can be further explored. This study maps global trends in patient satisfaction studies, and provides guidance for researchers to focus on less explored areas, thereby contributing to the improvement of healthcare quality in hospitals. Keywords: Patient Satisfaction, Service Quality, Hospital, Bibliometric Analysis.
