Abstract

Various kinds of technology and scientific discoveries produced by mankind have led to innovations in multi-story construction, especially office buildings that are widely built in the city of Jakarta. This research is under construction, in which to find out whether the design used is appropriate and efficient. From the calculation results, the design of an elevator at a capacity of 1000 kg with a speed of 60 Mpm, a car 1600 X 1400 Hoitsway 2430 X 2240 X 2350 obtains a carrying capacity of 1000 kg (13 people) and a power of 6.19 kW which comes from the Harmoni building (6 floors building). While the tensile stress on the elevator rope is 188.8 kg with an allowable tension of 909.1 kg and the age of the rope is 59.69 months or 4.9 years. The pull on the elevator rope is 131.63 kg with an allowable tension of 909.5 kg and the age of the rope is 1115.3 months or 9.6 years. with an elevator carrying capacity of 630 kg (8 people) and a speed of 105 Mpm (1.75 m/s).

Abstract

Company X is one of the largest automotive companies engaged in manufacturing in Indonesia. In company X, there is a section for shipping finished goods/products called the handling delivery section. In this research, a time study was carried out using the stopwatch time study method to obtain standard time, workload, and number of workers to complete the delivery handling process. From the analysis results, it was found that the average working time for PMH hand pallet activities was 327.92 seconds, and PMH forklift was 167.623 seconds. Then, based on working time/worker/day of 420 minutes or 25,200 seconds, with 438 product deliveries per day, the workload of five workers experienced an excess of PMH hand pallet 113.991% and PMH forklift 145.67%. With the addition of one worker for PMH hand pallet, and one worker for PMH forklift, the workload is not excessive, namely 94.99% for PMH hand pallet and 97.10% for PMH forklift.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of technology is increasingly rapid, especially in the world of machinery or industry, so improving the competence of student graduates is very important to prepare the workforce needed in the industrial environment. SMTK Sabu Raijua East Nusa Tenggara is currently unable to have a craft technique based on science and technology that supports the industrial era 4.0. as an initial competency in the production process for small and medium industries in the field of manufacturing technology and engineering. Therefore, the Universitas Kristen Indonesia through the PkM Team, conducted CNC milling machine programming training for teachers and students. This training aims to improve the abilities or competencies of students in preparation for entering the industrial world which is packaged in extracurricular lessons. The method of implementing this PkM activity uses the training and evaluation method. This training activity includes selecting milling eyes, a simple product design process on Vetric software, creating G-Code files on Vetric software, calibration between system coordinates and machine coordinates, and operating CNC machines. The training was attended by 36 participants consisting of students and teachers of SMK HKBP Pematang Siantar on January 27-29, 2025. After training and observation, it was concluded that participants were able to produce simple products such as key chains based on CNC machines according to the standards determined by the team.
