Abstract

CV. Puppet house is a small and medium-sized industrial enterprise and manufactures in producing doll house with wood base material. The purpose of this study is to know the kind of wasted production time on each production process at CV. Puppet house and give repair suggestions so as to increase the productivity of puppet house production time. This study uses a quantitative approach with the processing time of each workstation. This study uses a lean approach with tools value stream mapping (VSM), at the beginning of the study, drawing a current state mapping obtained from observations on puppets CV, then from the image was identified problem of each production process. Then analyze the problem using line balancing to level the cycle time, fishbone diagram to find out the factors causing the problem of the production of puppets and the introduction of waste on each production process. In the current state mapping the spend time of 1418.76 with 10 day lead time. After calculating and equating cycle time by using line balancing. Based on the analysis, there are several causes that can cause waste among others: delay of raw material arrival, physical factors of workers, workers who do not follow the work standards determined by the puppets and movements that are not required but performed by the workers. The proposed repair can be given to the CV of these puppets is to communicate well with the supplier, to conduct training once every 3 months to the employees, providing a special place for storage of raw materials and semi-finished materials and do not turn on television while working.Keywords: Lean Manufacturing, Waste, Value Stream Mapping, Lead Time, Fshbone Diagram, CV. Abstract

PT RB merupakan perusahaan UMKM yang memproduksi rumah boneka berbahan dasar kayu. Posisi kerja seluruh operator dilakukan dengan kondisi jongkok, duduk di lantai dan duduk di kursi roda tanpa meja. Semua akivitas operator tersebut mengakibatkan kelelahan dengan tingkat denyut jantung yang tinggi. Kegiatan produksi di PT RB dilakukan sekitar 8 jam/hari. Operator yang mengalami kelelahan secara fisiologi (fisik) dapat menyebabkan penurunan pada produksi, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengukuran beban kerja secara fisiologi dan analisis terhadap proses produksi perusahaan. Adapun data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data pengukuran metabolisme tubuh untuk menilai beban kerja. Adapun data Primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari: 10 denyut nadi pada pekerja produksi rumah boneka kepada 8 operator dengan 6 stasiun kerja. Konsumsi energi terbesar dialami oleh operator pada stasiun kerja pengamplasan (41Kkal/jam). Sedangkan nilai yang paling rendah terdapat di stasiun kerja pembuatan pola (2 Kkal/jam). Pekerjaan ini tergolong kedalam beban kerja ringan dikarenakan lebih kecil dari 100-200Kkal/jam.Kata Kunci:Beban Kerja Fisiologi, Rumah Boneka, Disabilitas

Abstract

On the production floor CV. There are 6 work stations that produce wooden dollhouses. All activities carried out by workers are carried out simply with irregular production floors where workers put the tools and materials used out of place which causes the workspace to be more narrow and work risks arise. To correct this, an analysis of the work environment will be carried out using 5S. The formulation of the problem is done through observations made on the production floor CV. RB. The review is carried out on the current work environment layout and the problems that occur in it. The identification results are used as a basis for compiling the concept of applying 5S in accordance with the characteristics of the production floor CV. RB. Analysis of the impact caused by the existing conditions is the result of observations and interviews with relevant parties. Furthermore, this research will give a proposal to solve the problems in the production of dollhouses using 5S. One of the improvements made is the provision of training on the basic concepts of 5S. By using 5S there will be improvements where workers will become disciplined, reduce waste and work risks.
