Abstract

Tambang Intan Cempaka sudah ada sejak masa Kerajaan Negara Dipa di abad 15. Sehingga, permukiman para penambang intan di sekitar tambang diyakini sezaman dengan kegiatan penambangan intan tersebut. Dilihat dari segi usia, kawasan permukiman Cempaka dinilai berkarakter tradisional. Namun saat ini, kawasan ini termasuk salah satu kawasan kumuh Kota Banjarbaru. Permukiman kumuh identik dengan kondisi ekonomi warga. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah Kota Banjarbaru mengupayakan perbaikan kawasan ini melalui program Kota Tanpa Kumuh dan pengembangan kegiatan indusri rumahan. Kegiatan industri rumahan mendatangkan banyak wisatawan ke kawasan ini. Namun secara fisik, kawasan ini belum siap menjadi destinasi wisata. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas kawasan, maka upaya mengenali karakteristik kawasan penting untuk dilakukan sebagai langkah awal perancangan kawasan. Metode yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian lapangan dengan metode deduktif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menemukan faktor pembentuk karakteristik permukiman Cempaka yaitu rumah-rumah vernakular yang menyebar tidak beraturan, menyesuaikan konteks/lokalitas eksisting. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa kawasan permukiman Cempaka memiliki cirikhas permukiman vernakular.

Abstract

Lok Baintan Tourism Area is one of the plans for the development of tourist areas by the local government. Lok Baintan Village is located in Sungai Tabuk District, South Borneo. The purpose of the development of Lok Baintan Village as a tourist area is the potential of the area that has a floating market activity center as an international tourist attraction. The attraction of floating market tourism is categorized as a cultural tourism based on local wisdom considering the richness of culture in this village. But the weakness of this tourist area is the lack of tourist facilities that accommodate tourism needs. Therefore, the purpose of this design is to obtain the design of Lok Baintan Riverfront Tourist Area that accommodates tourist facilities that present cultural value and local wisdom of the region. The concept formulated is Culture Heritage Tourism based on cultural tourism that presents local values, while the method used is through Vernacular Architecture Thinking

Abstract

The Contemporary Art Center in Banjarbaru is a place that presents a place to facilitate artists and the general public who are interested in various elements of art that are developing now, such as installation art. This center of contemporary art aims to create an environment that can indicate the behavior of artists and contemporary art, so that it can be used as an art space for artists and the general public to collaborate with each other in various branches of art. By using combined metaphor method and character concept, it is expected to be able to create an art center design with contemporary theme projection that can represent the identity of various art to collaborate, taking into account the elements of contemporary art that are in it and translated into visual architecture.

Abstract

The river museum in Banjarmasin is a place to capture the existence of rivers in Banjarmasin. The existence of rivers decrease in function and existence until it turns into a dead river. The river's existence is influenced by river culture. River culture is formed by people whose lives depend on rivers. Therefore, to preserve the information related to this matter, efforts are made by preserve and communicate it to the public by create a river museum.To create a river museum, the point of view concept is used which tells the museum narrative based on time, place, and actor. This concept is supported by the application of the sense of place method. Thus, river museums can make visitors educated and empathize with rivers in Banjarmasin.

Abstract

The traditional society of south borneo has a traditional form of building foundation that has been used for a very long time for their traditional house. This is called Kacapuri foundation that use a combination of Ulin wood and Galam wood. But right now because the lack of Ulin wood, this form is  not familiar anymore in south borneo.The rising in number of people forced the use of peat soil in borneo to be used as an alternative for their settlement. But the natural form of peat soil itself has become a challenge to the construction, therefore needs to be reinforced, one of the method is stabilisation. The optimum composition of lime and rice husk ash used for stabilization is 15% from the peat soil wet unit weight for the peat that got influence by surrounding water.Because of the few things above, the research in kacapuri foundation above the stabilized peat soil is established. From the test conclude that the value of GS rise to 1,584, water content lowered to 221,393 % and the unit weight is rise 1,158 t/m3. Pore value lowered to 3,386 and pH rise to 5,2.From the consolidation test the total settlements and vertical strain is concluded. The total settlements is lowered to 0,18 mm. The shear strength parameter is rise with the cohesion 0,1 and internal friction 30,646o. The ultimate bearing capacity qu for kacapuri foundation above the stabilized peat soil according to terzaghi formula is 87,675 t/m2.

Abstract

Pasar Bauntung Banjarbaru merupakan salah satu pasar yang dikelola oleh Dinas Perdagangan Kota Banjarbaru dibawah pengelolaan UPTD Pasar Bauntung. Pasar bauntung baru beroperasi kurang dari satu tahun. Pasar Bauntung pada saat ini menghadapi permasalahan tidak tersedianya penanda dan petunjuk arah yang representatif, hal ini dikarenakan pengelola pasar belum memiliki arahan desain penanda dan petunjuk arah untuk opreasional pasar. Masing-masing pedagang berinisiatif membuat penanda tokonya, sehingga terjadi kekacauan visual. UPTD Pasar Bauntung melalui surat Nomor: 511.2/047/UPTD.PSR.BB berinisiatif untuk mengajak Tim Arsitektur FT ULM untuk bekerjasama melaksanakan kegiatan Peningkatan Kualitas Visual Pasar Bauntung Banjarbaru melalui Desain Penanda & Penunjuk Arah. Fakultas Teknik menyambut baik hal ini dengan menunjuk Tim Arsitek dari Program Studi Arsitektur. Kegiatan dimulai dengan riset sederhana untuk digunakan sebagai dasar merumuskan konsep dan desain penanda & penunjuk arah pasar Bauntung Banajrbaru. Hasil pengabdian ini menghasilkan rancangan yang dipaparkan dan diserahkan ke Kepala Dinas Perdagangan, Kepala UPTD Pasar Bauntung, dan staf pengelola pasar Bauntung Kota Banjarbaru.

Abstract

Saat ini Kota Banjarbaru dikenal sebagai kota pendidikan di Kalimantan Selatan. Salah satu tonggak pendidikan di kota ini adalah jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). PAUD adalah pendekatan pembinaan untuk anak sampai dengan usia enam tahun, dilaksanakan dengan memberikan stimulan pendidikan untuk membantu anak tumbuh dan berkembang sehingga siap untuk pendidikan dimasa yang akan datang. Saat ini, dunia pendidikan di Kota Banjarbaru menghadapi isu COVID-19. Setelah hampir satu tahun sekolah dari rumah, semua sekolah di Kota Banjarbaru diminta mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi new-normal. Untuk itu, Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Banjarbaru menghimbau untuk menerapkan sistem protokol kesehatan, dengan mempersiapkan diri menuju sekolah new-normal dengan cara pengadaan thermogun, wastafel, hand sanitizer, peralatan kebersihan kelas (pel, sapu lidi, dan bak sampah) serta mempersiapkan kelas new-normal yang memenuhi standar kebersihan dan memperindah kelas dengan penghijauan. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, Program Studi Arsitektur menggagas kegiatan donasi wastafel dengan desain yang sesuai dengan dimensi anak-anak. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode design thinking yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu: meningkatkan rasa empati, mendefinisikan, merumuskan standar ideal, membuat prototipe, dan melakukan pengujian. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menghasilkan wastafel-wastafel yang didistribusikan kepada enam PAUD terpilih dalam rangka meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap covid-19, sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran hidup bersih sejak dini.

Abstract

Nature tourism park is a designation for landscapes that are protected through long-term planning, sustainable use and agriculture. These precious landscapes are preserved in their current state and promoted for tourism purposes. In the Bakut Island Nature Park, there are several groups of proboscis monkeys spread across the island, which are known as their natural habitat. Currently, the proboscis monkey, which is endemic to the island of Kalimantan, has received an endangered status after experiencing a population decline caused by the loss of the proboscis monkey's natural habitat. Currently, Bakut Island is one of the natural proboscis monkey conservation locations, but there is a natural tourism park that openly shows human activity at that location. This can affect the activity of proboscis monkeys in their survival. Responding to this, it is felt necessary to redesign the TWA which uses a concept that creates a relationship between humans and proboscis monkeys without directly involving the proboscis monkeys with the concept of Camouflage Architecture which hides human activity from the proboscis monkey's view and Biophilic Architecture in efforts to heal nature.

Abstract

South Kalimantan for the past 10 years has shooting athletes that have the potential to compete national and international. But it is not balanced with facilities such as there is no shooting range that can accommodate all training activities of athletes. Training is the most important thing in achievement, but in fact, the current place for training does not support athletes to maximize their potential. Behavior architecture as a method to solve or maximize the potential of athletes starts with three parts of training: emotion, cognition, and performance. Wasaka Shooting Range designed to make athletes as main users have trained with metamorphosis concepts that prepare the athletes emotionally and cognitively. With this concept, the area is divided into three zones which is the transition, prepare, and main zone.

Abstract

The development in the automotive world is increasing every year, automotive manufacturers, especially motorcycles, compete to make and issue types and brands with the latest technology innovations. This encourages modification lovers to create and create modifications. South Kalimantan has considerable potential in the automotive field, especially custom modification workshops, the problem is the lack of complete workshops and facilities in one workshop, especially in the city of Banjarmasin. Custom modification workshop in Banjarmasin is very small in number, in addition it also has many shortcomings in terms of facilities and building characteristics. To answer these problems a custom modification workshop design is needed that has complete facilities in one place and has the characteristics of a modification workshop building in order to provide comfort and convenience for its visitors. The problem solving method applied is the Metaphor Architecture method, which later the metaphorical elements will be implemented in the form and space of the building. The design concept applies the concept of a custom identity motorcycle where the results of the custom modification workshop design consist of several characteristics and characteristics of a custom motorbike.
