Abstract

Cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Indonesia masih belum sesuai target nasional. Sikap terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif. Sikap positif terhadap ASI eksklusif yang dibentuk sejak remaja akan mempengaruhi lama pemberian ASI eksklusif setelah menikah. Siswi SMK biasanya bekerja kemudian menikah selepas lulus sekolah. Pembentukan sikap yang positif terhadap ASI eksklusif sejak masih sekolah di SMK menjadi hal yang penting agar memberikan ASI eksklusif setelah menikah. Komik merupakan media edukasi yang menarik bagi remaja sehingga edukasi menggunakan komik diharapkan bisa meningkatkan minat baca remaja. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah meningkatkan sikap remaja terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif. Metode pelaksanaan PKM dengan melakukan ceramah, diskusi, dan pembagian komik kepada khalayak sasaran. Implementasi ceramah, diskusi, dan pembagian komik secara offline dan pelaksanaan pengukuran sikap terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif sebelum dan sesudah PKM dilakukan secara online. Hasil uji normalitas data menggunakan Kolmogorov Smirnov menunjukkan bahwa nilai pre-test tidak terdisitribusi normal (p<0.00) sedangkan nilai post-test terdistribusi normal (p=0.20). Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test khalayak sasaran (Z=-4.457, p<0.00). Edukasi menggunakan komik terbukti dapat meningkatkan sikap remaja terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu ciri khas dari sebuah proses dan kurikulum Pendidikan di lembaga Pendidikan pondok pesantren. Sehingga pesantren menjadi salah satu tujuan dan pilihan orang tua untuk mendidik putra putrinya dengan berbagai sistem Pendidikan dan pengajaran pada tiap-tiap pesantren yang mengarah pada Pendidikan karakter di setiap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dan mata Pelajaran yang diajarkan. Dalam hal ini pondok pesantren modern Nurussalam melalui mata Pelajaran kaligrafi. Khat arab atau kaligrafi Islam didalamnya tidak terlepas dari menulis huruf-huruf Al-Qur’an yang ditulis sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah kaligrafi itu sendiri. Sehingga dalam mempelajarinya perlu keseriusan dan ketelitian. Beberapa nilai karakter yang muncul dari proses pembelajaran kaligrafi di Pondok Pesantren Modern Nurussalam Sidogede adalah nilai religius, nilai tanggung jawab, nilai kreativitas, nilai kerjasama, dan nilai kemandirian. Namun, ada temuan baru yang didapatkan oleh peneliti diluar 18 nilai karakter yang dijelaskan oleh Suyadi (2013: 8-9) yaitu nilai kesabaran dan nilai ketelitian. Faktor pendukung yang mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran kaligrafi diantaranya adalah dukungan madrasah dari segi penyediaan sarana prasarana, dan dukungan persiapan peralatan dari orang tua. Faktor penghambat yang muncul adalah keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, rasa malas dan perasaan takut dari siswa.

Abstract

Background: Cardiovascular disease is still a major global health problem. Hypertension is the most risk factor for the incidence of cardiovascular disease and increases the risk of death. Primary and secondary prevention efforts are needed by increasing patient awareness of identifying risk factors and carrying out preventive management. “Electronic-Tindak lanjut Tensiku”, known as e-TITENKU, is a web and smartphone-based application designed to manage coronary heart disease prevention in patients with hypertension. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the e-TITENKU intervention model on knowledge of coronary heart disease prevention. Methods: This research design is true experiment pre and post control group design. The sample size is 120 respondents with primary hypertension in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The inclusion criteria included respondents with primary hypertension, adults aged 40-65 years, cooperative and willing to be respondents, while the exclusion criteria were respondents experienced complications of other diseases due to hypertension. Results: The results of the study were that the mean score of pre-intervention knowledge in the treatment group was 3.65, while in the control group was 3.43. While the mean score of knowledge after the intervention was 7.98 and the score of knowledge on the second measurement in the control group was 3.53. Conclusion: The e-TITENKU intervention model was able to increase the knowledge score of coronary heart disease prevention. This model can be used by nurses in hospital and community services.

Abstract

Introduction: Heart failure is commonly a major cause or significant contributor to mortality. Due to this condition, heart failure patients generally experience hemodynamic instability, which is typically managed with pharmacological therapy. However, to balance the side effects of pharmacological treatments, heart failure patients also need complementary modalities that can help restore hemodynamic stability, one of which is a breathing exercise therapy known as Alternate Nostril Breathing Exercise (ANBE). Purpose: To evaluate the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice by analyzing the effect of Alternate Nostril Breathing Exercise (ANBE) on blood pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation in heart failure patients. Methods: The design of this scientific paper is a descriptive case study with nursing care approach for patients with heart failure. The study involved two respondents with heart failure, both experiencing shortness of breath as the main complaint. Interventions were provided twice daily for 10 minutes over a period of 5 days. evaluation is carried out formatively and summatively. Discussion: The ANBE intervention resulted in a decrease in blood pressure, MAP (mean arterial pressure), and respiratory rate, as well as an increase in oxygen saturation in both patients. As for the pulse rate, results tended to be stagnant when comparing pre- and post-intervention measurements within a single day; however, a decrease was observed when comparing measurements taken before the intervention and on the final day of the intervention. Conclusion: ANBE therapy contribute in lowering blood pressure, MAP, and respiratory rate, also improve oxygen saturation.
