Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) to describe the implementation of entrepreneurship learning in high school during the Covid-19 pandemic, and 2) to provide solutions on how to improve the quality of entrepreneurship learning. This study uses a descriptive method. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Respondents were 1,347 high school students in grades XI and XII from 10 high schools in Sragen The results showed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, entrepreneurship learning taught more about theory (69.1%). The method used by teachers when teaching is assignments (54.8%) on assignments/homework on entrepreneurship theory. The digital platforms used by teachers are google classroom (39.3%), zoom (9.6%, WhatsApp (25.5%), google meet (16%), and other platforms 9.5%. In general, students assessed that entrepreneurship lessons are in accordance with their needs and provide provisions to become entrepreneurs. As many as 64.5% of students feel enthusiastic about participating in lessons. Improvements in entrepreneurship learning according to students' perceptions are: the material is more applicable and interesting, trained in how to overcome real problems, and balanced with practice. Abstract

This article is the result of community service program to develop micro business of leather calligraphy crafts in Sonorejo Village Sukoharjo District. So far the product of leather calligraphy, made using a single color screen printing technique with a monotonous visual form without variations of decoration. In general, craftsmen tend to be passive in developing new designs because they feel enough to produce calligraphy from the order designs carried by middlemen. Dependence on the middleman, causing the weak bargaining position of craftsmen in determining the price of the product. Meanwhile, craftsmen have production experience as a basis to develop their creativity in creating design innovations that are likely to expand the marketing area. In view of these conditions, the program is implemented to develop creativity and craftsman skills in: 1) create more varied designs of calligraphy, 2) create decorative patterns, 3) apply techniques of color screen printing on leather calligraphy crafts products. This community service program uses a participatory approach with a buttom up method; where the participation of craftsmen during the activity is expected to be able to answer their needs in a participative manner. Its activities are focused on training on the development of shape design, decorative pattern, and application of color screen printing technique. Through this program, there has been an increase in the ability of craftsmen in terms of: 1) creating new and more varied calligraphic designs using coreldraw software. 2) composing calligraphy style, decorative pattern, and background in harmony and artistic, 3) creating product according to design by applying color screen printing technique.

Abstract

Sekolah mempunyai peran strategis untuk membekali lulusannya menjadi kreatif dan memiliki kecakapan hidup (life skill). Lulusan SMA tidak semua melanjutkan ke Perguruan Tinggi. Lulusan SMA N 1 Sumberlawang yang melanjutkan ke Perguruan Tinggi kurang dari 20% pertahun sehingga siswa perlu dilatihkan keterampilan hidup dan ditanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran implementasi pendidikan kewirausahaan di SMA N 1 Sumberlawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan koordinator proyek di SMAN 1 Sumberlawang, analisis dokumen perencanaan proyek, dan studi literatur. Validitas data menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan kokurikuler berupa proyek dengan mengembangkan kearifan lokal. Tema proyek kewirausahaan yang dipilih adalah kearifan lokal Gunung Kemukus. Proyek kewirausahaan melatihkan siswa mengkaitkan isu dunia nyata, menemukan masalah, kemudian berkolaborasi untuk menciptakan solusi permasalahan melalui kegiatan merancang, membuat, dan menampilkan produk yang dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Strategi tersebut dapat melatihkan siswa untuk berekspresi secara kreatif, melatihkan keterampilan menciptakan karya baik dalam bentuk barang maupun ide/gagasan, dan menumbuhkan motivasi berwirausaha.Kata kunci: kearifan lokal; kewirausahaan; pembelajaran proyek

Abstract

Data BPS tahun 2021, menunjukkan bahwa lulusan SMA menjadi penyumbang pengangguran terbuka terbanyak. Tingginya pengangguran akan menyebabkan rendahnya pendapatan perkapita, tingginya beban tanggungan keluarga, dan menurunkan tingkat kesejahteraan. Hal ini juga diperparah adanya Pandemi Covid-19 yang berdampak ekonomi dan sosial. Upaya memutus permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan meningkatkan jumlah wirausaha dengan mengajarkan dan mendorong perilaku wirausaha pada siswa SMA. Dengan adanya kebijakan Belajar dari Rumah (BdR) selama Pandemi Covid-19, pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna bagi siswa tanpa harus menuntaskan seluruh capaian kompetensi. Kenyataannya, pembelajaran di sekolah cenderung sangat teoritik dan tidak terkait dengan lingkungan siswa. Hal ini juga terjadi di SMA N 3 Sragen. Terdapat beberapa kendala dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pendidikan kewirausahaan selama pembelajaran daring. Solusi untuk mengatasinya adalah pelatihan tentang implementasi pendidikan kewirausahaan berbasis proyek. Metode pengabdian ini dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Kegiatan pelatihan diikuti oleh 64 (87%) orang dari 74 guru. Berdasarkan umpan balik dari peserta menunjukkan bahwa 95% peserta memberikan reaksi yang baik. Pada pelatihan desain proyek hanya satu guru kewirausahaan yang memahami secara holistik bagaimana merancang sebuah proyek kewirausahaan, 2 orang guru lainnya masih belum memahami model proyek. Tindak lanjut dilakukan dengan melakukan coaching antara guru kewirausahaan sebagai koordinator proyek.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan studi terhadap ekspresi seni warga kampung Joyoraharjan, Purwodiningratan, Jebres Surakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui motivasi warga kampung Joyoraharjan dalam membangun kampungnya melalui kegiatan kesenian dan sejauh mana warga kampung mengelola lingkungan kampung dan mengekspresikan kreativitas seninya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara dengan beberapa warga kampung. Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa motivasi warga kampung dalam membangun kampungnya adalah memperkuat kolektivitas dalam rangka membangun identitas kampung. Ekspresi seni warga Kampung Joyoraharjan meliputi beberapa bentuk atau medium antara lain seni rupa yang terwujud dalam mural, lukisan dan musik yang berupa permainan Gejluk Lesung. Dari penelitian ini dapat dilihat bahwa kampung sebagai penyangga kota memiliki keterikatan dengan tradisi yang terus-menerus berusaha diartikulasikan kembali oleh warganya.

Abstract

As one of the classic Javanese batik, the Kawung batik motif contains philosophical values ​​that teach life guidelines for humans, such as gratitude, religiosity, respect for nature, and togetherness. These philosophical values ​​are still relevant to the current situation, so it is interesting to be used as a source of ideas for the creation of contemporary paintings. This article is the result of research that aims to describe the philosophical values ​​of the Kawung batik motif as a source of ideas and the process of creating contemporary batik paintings. The method is descriptive qualitative with the type of art creation research. The stages include: 1) gathering information about the Kawung batik motif, 2) exploring ideas based on the philosophical meaning of the Kawung batik motif, 3) making a design sketch, 4) realizing the sketch into a painting, 5) describing the shape of the painting created. The results of this study are 1) a description of the philosophical meaning of Kawung batik motifs, 2) a description of the process of creating contemporary batik painting works, 3) a description of the forms of contemporary batik painting works that contain philosophical values ​​of Kawung batik motifs. The results of this study indicate that the batik painting produced has a local character and represents the soul of the times. Thus, it is evident that the local wisdom values ​​of traditional culture can be developed and harmonized with contemporary culture.

Abstract

Batik is one of the identities of Indonesian cultural products that is well known by the world community. Research on batik never runs out to be studied. The point of view of the study can be done from various disciplines. Although in terms of motifs, it has been researched many times, and it is possible to identify that the number of batik motifs in Indonesia can reach thousands of existing motifs, from traditional motifs to modern motifs. Kenneth F. Bates (in Riyanto, et al 1997: 15) reveals that what forms a physical motif are the spot elements (in the form of strokes, colors, textures) line (lines) and mass (mass / in the form of Figures) in a single unit. Then the motif is duplicated or given variations with repetition to form a pattern or field. In contrast to Adi Kusrianto (2013: 3) states that classical batik motifs have meaning for the Javanese. Classical batik ornaments must also be able to give birth to a harmonious sense of beauty between the composition of the color scheme and the arrangement of the ornaments. Greg Richards and Julie Wilson wrote that innovation is the introduction of new inventions or spreading the meaning of these new inventions into general use in society (Richards and Wilson, 2007: 6). This study aims to develop the technique and manufacture of retak seribu motifs originating from the remekan batik technique, the consideration being to simplify the manufacturing process and enrich the development of contemporary batik motifs in Indonesia. Thus, this research will use researchbased development with the following steps: 1) information collecting, 2) develop a preliminary form of product, 3) preliminary product testing, 4) main product revision, 5) main field testing, and 6) dissemination.

Abstract

This essay is the outcome of a study on the Ruwat Murwakala, a traditional cleaning event for humans of sukerta that also serves as a backdrop for Javanese culture and religion. Although it is a religious activity, the ceremony serves as a moral education for society by conveying several symbols of worth. The mantra, one of the key components of the murwakala ceremony, is the subject of this investigation. This study used semiotic analysis of Ferdinand de Saussure's model and qualitative research methods. According to de Saussure, this symbol or sign can be understood through the idea of the relationship between the signifier and the signified. Reading the four fundamental mantras is the most important part of the ritual in Ruwat Murwakala's tale since it serves as a means of overcoming Bathara Kala. The primary methods for gathering data for this study were interviews and literature reviews. Direct observation and audio-visual recordings of the observation item were also used to obtain data. After then, the triangulation method was used to examine all of the data. The findings indicated that the four primary mantras chanted by the dalang during the Ruwat Murwakala procedure have symbolic meanings that include moral instruction about the tenets of human behaviour. This study examines educational resources from local traditional literature sources to demonstrate the significance of the idea of culture-based moral education. The findings of this study aid in the creation of community-wide moral education resources using an artistic and cultural perspective.

Abstract

Besides being an expression of culture, traditional artworks carry various kinds of knowledge and values that are useful for the survival of the community. This is one of the reasons why a product of traditional artworks survives in the midst of the progress of the times. This research on the ruwatan murwakala ritual aims to; (1) find out how the transmission of educational values occurs in wayang performances; (2) Analyse the scenes in Ruwat Murwakala's story that show the process of transmitting educational values and supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar idea. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative interpretive. Data was collected through participant observation (observation), literature review and in-depth interviews. Observations were made by observing the performance directly or by looking at the recording of the performance of Ruwatan's play Murwakala. The study of library sources consisting of articles and writings related to the research subject aims to complete the research data. Triangulation of data sources and sources is used to validate the data obtained so that the validity of the data can be accounted for. The results of the research on the Ruwatan ritual of the Murwakala play show that there are findings in the form of a process of delivering character education values to the community, including curiosity; honesty and knight; respect; religion; obeying the rules; respect; fair; smart; creative; critical knights; honest; respectful; and intelligent. These values are contained in each chapter in the story of Ruwatan Murwakala, namely: the pathet nem scene (beginning), the pathet sanga scene (middle) and the pathet manyura scene (end)
