Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of the research were: (1) to yield valid, efficient, practical and effective learning model for equation and inequality system; (2) to know which students had better the learning achievement of mathematics using outdoor study-based NHT or NHT learning models; (3) to know which students had better learning achievement, the students with high or those with moderate or those with low social intelligence; (4) to know which for students with high social intelligence, moderat social intelligence and low social intelligence, outdoor study-based NHT had better learning achievement than NHT learning model; (5) to know which students had better learning achievement, outdoor study-based NHT or NHT learning model, in each level of social intelligence. The development of learning model was conducted referring to R&D procedure suggested by Borg & Gall. The result of development constituted the procedure/syntax of outdoor study-based NHT learning model. For effectiveness test, this research was a quasi-experimental research with a 2×3 factorial design. The instrument employed to collect the data was mathematics learning achievement test and student social intelligence questionnaire. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded as follows. (1) The result of development constituted the procedure/syntax of outdoor study-based NHT were valid, efficient, practical and effective learning model with some game or activity such us ringball for SPLDV game, ringball for SPLDV game, to guess length and wide, inequality project and estafed. (2) The students’ mathematics learning achievement in outdoor study-based NHT learning model was better than that in NHT. (3) The students with high social intelligence had mathematics learning achievement better than those with either moderate or low one, and those with moderate had mathematics learning achievement better than those with low one. (4). In outdoor study-based NHT learning model, the students with high social intelligence had mathematics learning achievement as same as those with moderate one, and those with either high or moderate social intelligence had mathematics learning achievement better than those with low one. In NHT learning model, the students with high social intelligence had mathematics learning achievement better than those with either moderate or low one, and those with moderate one had mathematics learning achievement as same as those with low one. (5) The students with high social intelligence in outdoor study-based NHT learning model provided the result (product) as same as those in NHT learning model. The students with moderate social intelligence in outdoor study-based NHT learning model provided the result better than those in NHT learning model. The students with low social intelligence in outdoor study-based NHT learning model provided the result as same as those in NHT learning model.Keywords: NHT (Numbered Heads Together), Outdoor Study, Student Social Intelligence

Abstract

The system of linear equations is a material that is studied from the junior high school level to the lecture level so that this material is very important material in learning mathematics. The purpose of this research is to find out what methods are easy and widely used by students in solving the system of linear equations. This research is a qualitative research with case study type. The participants of this study were 10 students of Indraprasta PGRI university. Data were collected by task-based interviews which aimed to dig deeper into the easiest and fastest method to solve the system of linear equations. The data analysis technique used in this study uses Bogdan Biklen technique with stages: data reduction, coding, determining themes, concluding. The results showed that there are 5 methods that can be used in solving the system of linear equations, namely: Cramer Method, Ajoin Matrix Method, Gaus Method, and Gaus Jordan Method. Of the four methods, according to the results of student tests, the best value is obtained with the Cramer Method, this is reinforced by the results of interviews conducted by students who said that the Cramer method is the easiest and fastest method to solve the system of linear equations. While the Gaus method is the most difficult method to solve the system of linear equations.Keywords: System of linear equations, Method, Case Study

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi statistik mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan statistika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi statistik. Subjek penelitian adalah 25 mahasiswa semester 3 Th 2024/2025 Universitas Indraprasta PGRI Jakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes uraian terkait materi statistika dasar. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah ditinjau dari kategori kemampuan literasi statistik tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 16% mahasiswa berada pada kategori kemampuan tinggi, 60% pada kategori sedang, dan 24% pada kategori rendah. Kemampuan literasi statistik mahasiswa dengan kemampuan tinggi adalah mampu membaca, menafsirkan, dan mengkomunikasikan data secara baik, meskipun masih ditemukan kesalahan minor dalam pembulatan angka. Mahasiswa kategori sedang menunjukkan beberapa kesalahan dalam membaca simbol dan operasi statistik, sedangkan mahasiswa kategori rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dasar statistika dan pembacaan data. Temuan ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan para pengajar agar dapat menerapkan pembelajaran sesuai dengan masing-masing kategori kemampuan literasi statistik sehingga mahasiswa dapat penguatan konsep sehingga literasi statistik mahasiswa dapat lebih baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan diri mahasiswa terhadap prestasi belajar, untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecemasan belajar mahasiswa terhadap prestasi belajar dan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan mahasiswa secara bersama sama terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata kuliah aljabar linear dan matriks. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan metode ex post facto dengan teknik korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah systematic random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 kelas dari mahasiswa kelas reguler semester 4 yang berjumlah 130 mahasiswa. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa persamaan regresi adalah Y = 24,12 + 0,408 X1 + 0,079 X2 + e. kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar kepercayaan diri terhadap tes prestasi belajar kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan memiliki proporsi pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 28,3%. Nilai prob t hitung kecemasan sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Selanjutnya, pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap prestasi belajar, karena nilai prob. t hitung 0,384 > 0,05 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa kepercayaan diri tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar kepercayaan diri terhadap tes prestasi, kecemasan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar akan tetapi kepercayaan diri tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar.
