Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the process of creative thinking of students in XI grade IPA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Polanharjo that have AQ climber characteristic in the mathematics problem solving in quiet materials based on Wallas steps, they are: preparation, incubation, illumination and verification.  The approach t used in this study is qualitative approach. The collecting data in this study used task based on interview method. The process of creative thinking of the climber student in the mathematics problem solving in probability materials, are: (1) in the preparation step, students were enthusiastically when they were given problem solving task. The students explain the case that they knowed and asked in complete and correct with some way, that were: (a) writing the steps and changing into examples, (b) just writing the steps, (c) just changing the case that known in examples; (2) in the incubation step, when the students are understanding probability of event, they: (a)are practising that probability, (b) focus to understand on the problem, (c) less focus to understand on the problem. Then students get an idea by making a complete diagram then multiply the possibilities of occuring on the first and second taking; (3) in the illumination step, student counts probability values are based on complete diagram to sum possibillity of the relevant probability. Students get the new way, that: (a) are the uncomplete diagram and probability formulas, (b) the uncomplete diagram, (c) probability formulas. Students explain the origin of the new way found. Students finish the problem with the new way; (4) in the verification step, students retest all the cases having done befound and corrected the obtained probability values using the old and new way, both of them get the same and correct result.Keywords: creative thinking, problem solving, and climber.

Abstract

Serat kitosan mempunyai sifat getas, kekuatan yang rendah terutama dalam keadaan basah dan elongasisaat putus yang rendah disebabkan kristalin yang tinggi. Untuk dapat digunakan sebagai benang operasimonofilamen, diperlukan serat kitosan dengan diameter yang relatif kecil tetapi mempunyai kekuatan tarik yangtinggi disertai fleksibilitas dan elongasi yang baik sehingga mudah dibuat simpul. Proses dehidrasi dengan metanoltelah berhasil meningkatkan kekuatan dan menurunkan diameter tetapi elongasi menurun. Penelitian ini ditujukanuntuk meningkatkan sifat mekanik terutama elongasi serat kitosan dengan cara melakukan proses plastisisasidengan gliserol setelah proses dehidrasi dengan metanol . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada serat kitosanyang dibuat dari larutan kitosan dengan viskositas 5.684 mPa.s dengan alat wet-spinning menggunakan spinneretdengan diameter 1500 μm, proses dehidrasi dengan metanol dilanjutkan dengan proses plastisisasi dengan gliserolmemberikan penurunan diameter 7 %, peningkatan densitas 46%, peningkatan kekuatan tarik 90%, danpeningkatan elongasi 167 %. Dengan proses plastisisasi serat kitosan menjadi lebih hidrofil, densitas dan %kristalinitas naik sehingga serat lebih padat merata dan memberikan peningkatan elongasi yang signifikan.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the process of reflective thinking of students in solving mathematical problems in terms of the creativity of student learning high and medium categories. This type of research is qualitative. The qualitative method selected for determining the profile of reflective thinking of students in solving mathematical problems set in the natural and the main instrument is the researcher's own research. The results of the study obtained similarities and differences in students' reflective thinking processes are in high creativity and mathematical problem solving. During the preparation stage are the equation of student creativity and medium height, namely: the spirit of student responses when given KPM, after which students can express things that are known and asked is complete and correct. While the difference is high creativity Students understand the issues carefully. Differences reflective thinking processes and high creativity is about how students gather relevant information that will be used.

Abstract

The aim of this research is knowing whether research instrument is feasible or no to get data of research. The instrument of this research is logical mathematics quotient test with 25 problems in multiple choice and mathematics problem solving test with 4 questions in essay.  Testing the appropriateness of instrument of logical mathematics intelligence consist of content validity, level of problem difficulties, power differentiator, and reliability. Meanwhile, testing the appropriateness of instrument of mathematics problem solving use content validity. The validator for both of logical mathematics intelligence test and mathematics problem solving test is expert judgement. There are 39 students of Senior High School as respondent who are joining instrument try out. The results of appropriateness of instrument show: 1) there are 25 questions of logical mathematics quotient instrument which are feasible to take research data, and 2) instrument of mathematics problem solving in linier equation system material is feasible to use with some revisions from expert judgment.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh job description, terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia - Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif eksplanatif dengan menggunakan survey sebagai alat pengambilan data yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui begaimana suatu variabel mempengaruhi variabel lain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan departemen security dengan jumlah 46 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non probability sampling yaitu sampling jenuh karena mengambil sampel dari seluruh jumlah total populasi, dengan menggunakan skala Likert, penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dimana data primer dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner, data sekunder dikumpulkan dari perusahaan dan studi pustaka. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana dan Crosstab sebagai alat bantu menghitung apakah ada hubungan atau pengaruh antara Job description terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil hipotesis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel deskripsi kerja, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan departemen security PT. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia Gresik. Dari hasil Analisis regresi linier sederhana dapat dikatakan bahwa variabel terikat (Y) berubah terhadap variabel (X), namun sebagian sisanya disebabkan oleh faktor lain yang tidak terdapat dalam model atau penelitian ini diantaranya variabel Motivasi dan kemampuan (ability)

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu organisasi dalam mencapai tujuannya tergantung faktor sumber daya manusia, karena sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor kunci untuk menggerakkan sumber daya yang lain yang ada dalam perusahaan. Analisis jabatan merupakan cara sistematis yang mampu mengindentifikasi serta menganalisa persyaratan apa saja yang diperlukan dalam sebuah pekerjaan serta personel yang dibutuhkan dalam suatu pekerjaan. Dari hasil analisis jabatan tersebut maka organisasi akan mampu menentukan karateristik seperti apa yang harus dimiliki calon karyawan sebelum menduduki sebuah jabatan. Tugas pokok dan fungsi karyawan yang telah dirancang dengan benar secara jelas termuat dalam sebuah uraian pekerjaan (Job Description).Adapun tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksplanatif, untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh Job Description terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Departemen Security di PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia Gresik.Dari penelitian tersebut diketahui bahwa job description berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Hal ini berdasarkan atas survey, dengan hasil responden berpendapat bahwa dengan adanya job description maka akan membantu mengarahkan pekerjaan menjadi teratur. Sehingga langkah-langkah yang diambil dalam melakukan pekerjaan akan lebih jelas dan gamblang.

Abstract

Abstract Analysis factors influencing word communications of moth to re-service usage enthusiasm. This research object is Fairy Shop, Research problems refers to business phenomenon Fairy Shop. For the reason this research problems is as follows : what increasing re-service usage enthusiasm passed word communications of mouth. a model has been built and five research hypothesises has been formulated. Method accidental has been selected to obtain data required at this study. This research utilizes 145 respondents and overall of respondent is customers Fairy Shop Jombang. Data analysis utilizes Structural Equation Model with computer program Amos 16. Keywords: Total Quality Management, Customer and Customer Satisfaction. Result of this research shows between it that quality of service of influential positive to communications wom. Customer satisfaction of influential positive to communications wom. Commitment influential positive to commitment wom. Strength of the relation of influential positive to communications wom. Communications wom influential postif to re- service usage enthusiasm. Objek penelitian ini adalah Fairy Shop, masalah penelitian mengacu pada fenomena bisnis Fairy Shop. Oleh karenanya ini masalah penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: apa yang meningkatkan re-layanan antusiasme penggunaan berlalu komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut. model telah dibangun dan lima hypothesises penelitian telah dirumuskan. Metode disengaja telah dipilih untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan 145 responden dan keseluruhan responden adalah pelanggan Fairy Shop Jombang. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model dengan program komputer Amos 16. Kata kunci: Total Quality Management, Pelanggan dan Kepuasan Pelanggan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa antara kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif terhadap komunikasi WOM. Kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh positif terhadap komunikasi WOM. Komitmen berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen WOM. Kekuatan hubungan berpengaruh positif terhadap komunikasi WOM. Komunikasi WOM postif berpengaruh untuk kembali layanan penggunaan antusiasme. Kata kunci: kualitas hubungan, kepuasan pelanggan, komitmen, kekuatan hubungan, komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut dan re-layanan penggunaan antusiasme.

Abstract

Poros baling-baling (propeller shaft) adalah salah satu komponen kapal yang berfungsi untuk memindahkan atau menyalurkan daya dari mesin induk ke baling-baling menjadi gaya dorong untuk menggerakan sebuah kapal. Dalam proses berputarnya poros baling-baling untuk menghasilkan gaya  dorong, poros tersebut menanggung berbagai jenis beban akibat dari kombinasi  berbagai  gaya. Beban tersebut diantaranya adalah beban puntir, beban tarik dan beban tekan, dimana beban-beban tersebut terjadi secara berulang-ulang yang akhirnya akan mengakibatkan lelah (fatigue failure) pada material. Untuk mendapatkan ketahanan destruktif yang tinggi dan kekuatan material yang baik perlu dilakukan proses perlakuan panas (heat treatment). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan proses quenching yaitu pemanasan dengan suhu 850°C waktu penahanan 50 menit media pendingin pelumas Mesran SAE 20W-50 dan dilanjutkan dengan proses perlakuan panas tempering dengan suhu 600°C waktu penahanan 40 menit dengan media pendingin air. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa baja S45C perlakuan panas tempering memiliki kekuatan puntir 425,67 Mpa, Kekuatan tarik 452,75 Mpa,  modulus elastisitas sebesar 161,5 Gpa, nilai kekerasan 16,5 HRC, dan memiliki struktur mikrografi menunjukan fasa ferrite yang lebih dominan. Sedangkan baja S45C perlakuan panas quenching memiliki kekuatan puntir 392,7 Mpa, kekuatan tarik 453,5 Mpa, modulus elastisitas 196,35 Gpa, nilai kekerasan 32,5 HRC, dan struktur mikrografi menunjukan fasa perlite lebih dominan.

Abstract

Abstract. Entrepreneurship is the important activity for economic growth of the country. One actor of entrepreneurship activity called an entrepreneur. There is still a low number of the entrepreneur in Indonesia with 3,1% in 2016 rather than other Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, and China which has more than 5%. But, that is increasing than years before and it indicates that being an entrepreneur is attractive. Many entrepreneurs running a culinary business which it has contributed one of the biggest GDP (Gross Domestic Product) for Indonesian economic with 41,69% in 2015. The government also support those entrepreneurs and wanted to generate new entrepreneurs in Indonesia and Bandung as one of the cities of the culinary destination. Become an entrepreneur and choosing culinary as the business itself consists of several influence factors. In the process, there is also a failure although barrier of entry in culinary business especially in Indonesia is low. It makes factors influencing entrepreneur on choosing culinary business becomes important to know. This research conducted by using a qualitative method with phenomenological study used and gather the data with purposeful sampling from 10 culinary business entrepreneur in Bandung by using the semi-structured interview. The result analyzes with coding based on the interview result. The result has shown that the most important factor is Opportunity-based with Entrepreneurial Alertness as the category in approaching the opportunity. There are also other factors that influence them in the findings which are Passion, Development Needs, Greater Business Achievement, and Economic Needs. The result can be used for evaluating the business activity and reflection for entrepreneurs that wanted to choose culinary as the business to do.Keywords: Choosing Culinary Business, Culinary Business, Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurship, Influencing Factors
