Abstract

This research aims to: 1) identify and analyze spirit of Madurese women to do the productive and domestic work; 2) analyze dominant and intrinsic behavior of Madurese woman in household economy; 3) analyze the perception of Madurese women to social change, economy and traditional institute.Qualitative approach were conducted as research method and population of study was Madurese women, both, who live in Madura Island and outside Madura Island (migrant). Research location selected purposely in Pamekasan, City of Malang and Southside of Malang Residence. Case study method was used exhaustively combined with historical approach and census document and also with focus group discussion with Madurese women. Informants was selected to depict various characteristics  and was traced by snowball system. Data intake was conducted with 1) Structured Interview; 2) Observation; 3) group interview; d) understanding symbolic value and myth. The data analyzed by descriptive qualitative method.The research conclusion showed that spirit of Madurese woman from various coat as an inhabitant or a migrant show the high spirit which supported by accomplished working ethos. This ethos was resulted by requirement of religious service, independence and obligation. The Migration of Madurese women was influenced by coush to prove their life quality. Potential local institution is assisting the women work in marionette pesantren, tanean lanjeng, and agriculture institution and commerce. Spirit of Madurese woman the eager beaver is pushed by social energy of migrating behavior and powered by the will to increase to increasing the family life quality. This research needs to be continuied to find comprehensive local knowledge of the women executed by circumstantial study and focused discussion on working activity and local adaptation ethic.Keyword: Social Energy, Madurese Woman

Abstract

The aim of this research was to study pasteurized milk quality produced by UD. Gading Mas on pH, Acidity, alcohol test and TPC during 5 days storage in refrigerator. On first day showed that  weight mass 1,06 (w/w); fat content 2,00 (g/100g),  protein content 3,02  (g/100g), Zn 1,67 ppm, Cu<0,005 ppm, Pb 0,02 ppm,  As  0,0120 ppm, Hg< 0,0002 ppm, Sn 1,60 ppm dan Cd < 0,001 ppm and organoleptic test included color, flavor and taste were normal. Pasteurized milk characteristic during 5 days refrigeration for pH were 6,57;6,58;6,73;6,60 and 6,50 respectively. Acidity were 1,147 %, 0,145 %, 0,145%, 0,157 %, 0,156 % and 0,175  % respectively. TPC were 6,16 x 101, 1,2. 104; 3,15.104, 0,42.106 and 3,5.108 respectively. It concluded that pasteurized milk produced by UD Gading Mas fulfilled SNI quality standard based on weight mass, pH, acidity, fat, protein, heavy metal content, organoleptic test and TPC.   Keywords: pasteurized milk, quality, refrigerator

Abstract

Participation is an important component in the process of empowering a community, especially farmers. In this process, the community is supported to improve prosperity independently. The role of institutions as facilitators who accompany the empowerment process. In principle, the community is the perpetrator and the subject of development. it requires Information related factors that influence the participation of breeders in the Empowerment program so that the preparation of empowerment strategy can be more directional and the result will be more optimal. This research aims to determine the factors affecting the participation of farmers in the grazing Empowerment program as a reference to create a more interesting empowerment program. The research was conducted in the Pinrang district of Suppa and Mattirobulu sub-districts with samples of 147 breeders. The collection of research data is done using questionnaires and then carried out data using the SmartPLS statistics tool. The result of this research is known that the factors affecting the participation of farmers are the motivation and stakeholder role.
