Abstract

Election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Engineering(BEM FT) Bhayangkara University Surabaya is an activity where each student uses his voting rights. Theselection is done by voting with the candidate who has the most votes coming out as winners. The selection of theGovernor of UB's FT BEM is still not maximally indicated by the voter data, which is still small compared to thenumber of active students. Procedures that are still conventional with students having to go to campus to votecan be the cause. Therefore, the use of information and communication technology gave rise to the idea ofmaking an electronic voting system or commonly called Android-based E-Voting using the Universally UniqueIdentifier (UUID). E-Voting is a method of voting and vote counting in an election using a mobile phoneelectronic device. In other words, this technology makes it easy for voters in a general election to exercise theirvoting rights by using electronic and internet media. With the E-Voting, it is expected that the interest of studentsto participate in giving more votes and the sound processing process will be faster.

Abstract

In the grouping of book data in the library of Universitas Bhayangkara Surabaya at this time, the grouping is stillbased on the title and the existing field. So that resulted in the laying of some books whose title is not in accordancewith the field of place. To facilitate the grouping of library books, in this research will provide a solution by doingthe grouping of books based on the similarity of the title using K-Means method with the distance dissmilarity. Thedata are grouped a number of 500 titles in the library of Bhayangkara University Surabaya. The data will beprocessed through the Pre-processing process first of each book title by using the Information Retrieval Systemwhich results in the basic word. The basic word that will be used as a feature in the process of grouping so that canbe known similarity. The result of the research is that it can be concluded that the application of Library BookGrouping System Based on Similarity of Book Title Using K-Means Method (Case Study of Bhayangkara LibrarySurabaya) is suitable for data that has been specified on each title. And some processes there are clusters that arealways consistent in putting the book data in accordance with the similarity. Of all test results that have the bestsilhouette value is on using the value of K = 7, ie in the process to 1 with the value of silhouette = 0.2221

Abstract

The method used in making applications Introduction This animal is the study of literature, experiment, samplingand interviews. Making animal begins with collecting data that will be created as a model using Blender softwareAugmented Reality application design using Unity software by designing a marker made using Photoshop, soundedited using Adobe Audition and animal models that have been made. The features available in this app are severaltypes of animals that are displayed in 3D with sound and animation using Augmented Reality technology. Results oftesting applications Introduction Pets can run on a variety of Android mobile devices. The normal distance that canbe detected by the camera is 6cm up to 4m with marker size 20 x 22cm. Based on that test the accuracy of readingthe average marker is 00:12 seconds every marker. Accuracy of reading marker is also given light. The lighter themarker the clearer and faster the marker. There are still many shortcomings that can be developed, such as animalsreproduce 3D objects and create animations that better, so that the application more attractive, interactive, and easyto understand.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mobile-based application, Smart Malnutrition Detection, which can help early detection independently of the nutritional status of each individual and provide recommendations for daily nutritional intake. The system was developed by adopting a prototyping system development model. The system can determine the nutritional status of individuals based on the threshold value of BMI. The system can also calculate individual daily calorie needs based on BMI, EMB and daily physical activity values. The final output of this system is in the form of recommendations for daily nutritional intake in grams. The functional testing results show that all features contained in the Smart Malnutrition Detection application can run well and no errors are found. Validity testing results show that the output of the system is in accordance with the rules set by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Starting from calculating the BMI value, the value of daily calorie needs to the size of the menu consumption in grams. So that it can be concluded that this application is very useful to support early detection of individual malnutrition conditions. The system is also able to provide recommendations for daily nutritional intake so that it can help improve diet and healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Dengan program pendanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Pemberdayaan Mitra Usaha Produk Unggulan Daerah (PMUPUD), yang dikelola oleh Direktorat Riset, Teknologi, dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (DRTPM), Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi (Ditjen Diktiristek), dan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek), tujuan dari program ini adalah untuk mendorong inovasi insan-insan untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah penelitian yang dibuat oleh tim dosen dari Universitas Bhayangkara Surabaya dan ITS Surabaya dengan judul "Teknologi mesin pengrai roasting dalam Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Produk Olahan Kopi". Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan produktivitas produk unggulan kopi di Kabupaten Tuban. Beberapa pabrik kopi di Kabupaten Tuban dikelola oleh usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Mereka mengolah kopi dengan cara sederhana, menggunakan drum roaster atau sangrai dengan drum. Metode roaster memiliki banyak kekurangan, yang berdampak pada kualitas kopi yang dihasilkan. tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat ini hasil riset yang dilakukan bisa memberikan manfaat besar bagi masyarakat di sekitar. tindakan yang diambil untuk menerapkan solusi yang ditawarkan untuk menyelesaikan masalah mitra sasaran. Metode: yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat setiap tahun, seperti sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, dan keberlanjutan program Desa Pakel Kecamatan Montong Tuban untuk meningkatkan potensi bisnis dan kemampuan ekspor. agar memiliki daya saing baik di dalam negeri maupun di luar negeri. Hasil temuan dan kesimpulan dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi Pelatihan, praktek dan pendampingan penggunaan industri teknologi tepat guna mesin untuk sangrai biji kopi bubuk.

Abstract

The constraints of gas distribution pipe leak monitoring robots in outdoor environments are the limited battery capacity and the method used as a monitoring system to assist the work of gas pipe leak inspection officers, which takes a long time. Therefore, the robot requires independent battery charging and real-time monitoring systems. This study resulted in a solar-powered gas distribution pipe leak monitoring robot that can provide real-time information on the robot's battery capacity and gas odor concentration data along the inspected gas distribution pipe. This robot can directly channel electrical power to the robot's battery using solar energy. This Mobile Robot uses a Photovoltaic (PV) module, Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), a Compass, a gas sensor, a voltage sensor, a current sensor, an ATMEGA 2560 Microcontroller, and Node MCU V3 ESP8266. The Internet of Things (IoT) application uses the Blynk application to monitor battery capacity and the concentration value of gas odor detected by the robot. The test results show that by using the PV + battery module, this mobile robot can work for more than 60 minutes compared to using only the battery for around 55 minutes. This work was successfully implemented based on IoT performance using the Blynk Application to monitor battery capacity conditions of voltage and current data and gas concentration data. It is also shown that the average delay time for sending data from voltage, current, and gas sensors to the Blynk application was around 0.226 seconds.
