Abstract

Latar belakang: Perencanaan persalinan dan pencegahan komplikasi ibu hamil merupakan salah satu upaya mengurangi risiko komplikasi persalinan. Kepatuhan perencanaan persalinan diantaranya dipengaruhi oleh faktor karakteristik ibu, intensitas pemeriksaan kehamilan (ANC) dan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang diterima. Tujuan: Diketahuinya besar hubungan antara variabel karakteristik ibu, intensitas ANC dan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang diterima terhadap kepatuhan perencanaan persalinan dan pencegahan komplikasi. Metode: Sumber data adalah SIRKESNAS 2016. Variabel terikat adalah karakteristik ibu hamil, intensitas ANC, fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang diterima. Variabel bebas adalah perencanaan persalinan dan penceganan komplikasi. Analisis data dengan regresi logistik. Hasil: Uji regresi logistik (nilai p<0,05); ibu hamil berpendidikan tinggi 2,2 kali untuk patuh melakukan perencanaan persalinan dan komplikasi persalinan dibandingkan ibu berpendidikan dasar; Ibu yang melakukan ANC lengkap akan patuh terhadap perencanaan persalinan dan komplikasi persalinan 2,3 kali dibandingkan ibu yang tidak ANC lengkap; ibu yang mendapat fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan lengkap saat pemeriksaan kehamilan lebih patuh terhadap perencanaan persalinan dan komplikasi persalinan 2,2 kali dibandingkan ibu dengan pelayanan kesehatan yang tidak lengkap. Kesimpulan: Secara umum ibu dengan pendidikan tinggi, ibu yang mendapat ANC lengkap dan ibu dengan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan lengkap saat pemerikasaan kehamilan akan patuh sebesar 2,2 sampai 2,3 kali terhadap perencanaan persalinan dan komplikasi persalinan.

Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang. Iodium merupakan komponen kunci pembentukan hormon tiroid. Akibat kekurangan iodium menimbulkan beban penyakit global, oleh karena itu Indonesia sepakat berperan dalam upaya global melawan Gangguan Akibat Kekurangan Iodium (GAKI). Perubahan persepsi masyarakat atau intervensi pengetahuan tentang iodium dapat dilakukan dengan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Upaya intervensi tersebut juga perlu dilakukan evaluasi. Tujuan. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menentukan strategi terhadap pelaksanaan penerapan model pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk pencegahan GAKI. Metode. Jenis penelitian dengan mixed method, yakni menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dan metode kualitatif. Teknik penentuan informan menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, Focus Group Discussion dan pengamatan langsung di lapangan. Analisis menggunakan SWOT. Hasil. Hasil IFAS 0,40 dan EFAS 0,27 menempatkan posisi pemberdayaan penanggulangan GAKI berada pada titik (x,y)=(0,40;0,27) kuadran I (Strategi Mendukung Agresif). Kesimpulan. Model pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk pencegahan GAKI di desa Pulosaren dapat diterapkan. Penerapan model pemberdayaan masyarakat sangat prima dan mantap, memperbesar pertumbuhan dan meraih kemajuan secara maksimal. Strategi utama adalah mempertahankan dan mengoptimalkan kekuatan sosial dari kearifan lokal ‘guyub rukun’ yang dimiliki masyarakat; memastikan posyandu tetap aktif ataupun melakukan inovasi program posyandu; serta terus melakukan penyegaran pelatihan penyuluhan dengan menyederhanakan materi pelatihan ataupun model penyampaian pengetahuan yang lebih efektif. Abstract

POSITIVE FACTORS TO INCREASE THE POTENTIAL OF CADRE'S INTEGRATED SERVICES POST IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE NUTRITION AWARENESS FAMILY.Background: One of indicators of the nutrition awareness family (KADARZI) is family member's attendance for health and growth monitoring to POSYANDU, especially children aged 1-5 years (8ALITA) and pregnant women. The successful of BALITA growth monitoring depends on the cadre ability to conduct the POSYANDU activities, among others.Objectives: The objective of this study is to describe the positive factors related to POSYANDU cadre ability to increase the family nutrition awareness regarding BALITA growth monitoring.Methods: Cross­ sectional survey was used in this study. The study was conducted in 16 POSYANDU of the Kampar and Pelalawan Districts, Riau Province, and covered 58 cadres as respondents. Interview with respondents was used to collect data using a questionnaire.Results: All cadres are women and most of them are 21-40 of age about 50 percent that having high school education, and almost all of respondents work as housekeeper. Motivation to be cadres is mainly for helping the community member or village development. About 53 percent of cadres had never received training, and the rest of cadres had received training only once although they have been a cadre for more than two years. Besides, most of the POSYANDU has no materials or booklets for community education. About 71 percent cadres have no booklet and about 52 percent have never given information to the community because they have no knowledge in nutrition counseling. Cadre knowledge in growth curve interpretation in the growth chart is very low; it was only nine percent of cadre that able to interpret growth curve correctly. Only two percent cadre knows that the weight change in monthly weighing should be told to mother in nutrition counseling. In order to increase nutrition awareness family, particularly in growth monitoring, the POSYANDU should be revitailzed by improving the cadre ability in growth graph interpretation as well as growth monitoring, nutrition counseling, and provide means of communication in POSYANDU activities.Keywords: POSYANDU cadre, nutrition awareness family, POSYANDU revitalization

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF NUTRITIONAL MESSAGES IN THE DIETARY GUIDELINES FOR INDONESIANS THAT MORE PRACTICAL TO BE USED BY FIELD NUTRITION STAFFS.Background: Nutritional messages in the Dietary Guidelines should be simple and relatively few in numbers to obtain maximum awareness and understanding among the users. Some observational studies indicated that nutritional messages of the Dietary Guidelines for Indonesians (PUGS) were considered complex so they were difficult for 'field' nutrition staffs to understand them.Objectives: The purpose of this study is to explore and modify the nutritional messages that are considered complex by 'field' nutrition staffs to become the understandable and practical nutritional messages.Methods: A capacity building method has been developed to explore and modify the nutritional messages that are considered complex. This process involved seven participants: four 'field' nutrition staffs (two PUSKESMAS nutrition staffs from Medan City and two from Deli Serdang District) and three nutrition staffs from the Health Office of Medan City and Deli Serdang District, North Sumatera Province. Nutritional messages were modified based on the inputs of capacity building forum.Results: The nutritional messages of number 2-3-4 in PUGS were difficult messages to be understood by nutrition staffs. The modified 2-3-4 messages by nutrition staffs were still somewhat difficult for them. The final result was the ten modified nutritional messages which were, according to nutrition staffs, more understandable and practical.Keywords: Nutritional messages, Dietary Guidelines for Indonesians (PUGS), nutrition staffs

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia has double burden of malnutrition, occurring in almost all life cycles, especially energy and protein intake. The highest source of protein consumed by the community comes from grains (The consumption is around 20 grams, whereas based on animal source commodity groups, fish has the highest average of around 7 grams per capita. (SUSENAS, 2013).However, the proportion of fish consumption in Indonesia, especially marine fish, is still low at 25.5%. Indonesia has the potential of large marine and fisheries. Production reaches 10.86 million tons. Growth rate of national fisheries production, reaching an average of 10.02% per year (2005 to 2010). There is not much information on how much the contribution of protein from sea food with the recommended consumption of protein. The analysis was carried out on the data of SKMI by referring to the Nutrition Adequacy Score that is impressive for the Indonesian population. Individual data were analyzed as much a 85.414. The results showed that not all residents consumed marine fisheries every day, from 14,5360 individuals interviewed as many as 73,629 who consumed 50% with an average consumption 77.6 ± 63.2 grams. The consumption of protein from marine fisheries in the Indonesian population averaged 15.37 ± 11.9 grams and contributed as much as 28 percent of the AKG to the consumption of population protein in a day. Keywords: consumption, energy, protein, fish ABSTRAK Indonesia menghadapi masalah gizi ganda, terdapat pada semua siklus kehidupan, yaitu balita, remaja, dewasa, ibu hamil, dan lansia. Keadaan ini erat kaitannya dengan masalah asupan zat gizi terutama energi dan protein. Hasil Survey Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas) 2013 menunjukkan bahwa sumber protein tertinggi yang dikonsumsi masyarakat berasal dari padi-padian sekitar 20 gram sedangkan berdasarkan kelompok komoditi sumber hewani, ikan memiliki rerata tertinggi yaitu sekitar 7 gram per kapita. Mutu protein ikan setingkat dengan mutu protein daging, sedikit di bawah mutu protein telur, dan di atas mutu protein serealia dan kacang-kacangan. Namun proporsi penduduk Indonesia yang mengonsumsi ikan khususnya ikan laut masih rendah yaitu 25,5 persen. Indonesia memiliki potensi sumber daya kelautan dan perikanan yang besar. Produksi mencapai 10,86 juta ton. Laju pertumbuhan produksi perikanan nasional mencapai rata-rata 10,02 persen per tahun (2005 – 2010). Belum banyak informasi berapa besar sumbangan protein dari ikan laut yang dikonsumsi penduduk terhadap kecukupan konsumsi protein yang dianjurkan. Analisis dilakukan terhadap data Survey Konsumsi Makanan Indonesia (SKMI) Badan Penelitian Pengembangan Kesehatan dengan mengacu pada angka kecukupan gizi yang dianjurkan bagi penduduk Indonesia. Data individu yang dianalisis sebanyak 85.414. Belum semua penduduk mengonsumsi ikan laut setiap hari, dari 145.360 individu yang diwawancara sebanyak 73.629 yang mengonsumsi ikan laut (50%) dengan rerata konsumsi ikan laut 77,6 ± 63,2 gram. Konsumsi protein dari ikan laut pada penduduk Indonesia rerata 15,37±11,9 gram dan memberikan kontribusi sebanyak 28 persen AKG terhadap konsumsi protein penduduk dalam sehari.
