Abstract

Abstrak. Aedes aegypti merupakan vektor utama terjadinya penularan penyakit demam dengue.Pengendalian efektif untuk menurunkan kasus demam dengue adalah dengan menggunakan insektisidabiologi seperti Gynura pseudochina pada stadium larva. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensiekstrak daun Gy. pseudochina sebagai larvasida Ae. aegypti. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimentaldengan rancangan acak lengkap dan menggunakan tujuh konsentrasi yang berbeda (0%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%,9%, 10%).Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kematian larva Ae. aegypti pada kelompok konsentrasi Gy. pseudochina,kecuali pada konsentrasi 5% terhadap 6% dan 9% terhadap 10%. Pengujian setelah 24 jam, nilai LC50adalah 6,271% dengan batas atas dan batas bawah adalah 5,322% dan 7,005%. Dengan demikian, ekstrakdaun Gy. pseudochina memiliki potensi sebagai larvasida Ae. aegypti.

Abstract

Abstrak. Nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Ae. albopictus merupakan vektor dari Demam Berdarah Dengue.Pengendalian nyamuk vektor untuk memutus rantai penularan di antaranya menggunakan repelen tanaman.Daun pandan (Pandanus amaryllifolius) dan mangkokan (Notophanax scutellarium) adalah tanaman lokalyang mempunyai potensi sebagai repelensi nyamuk. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui tentangefektivitas daun P. amaryllifolius dan N. scutellarium sebagai bahan repelen nyamuk Ae. albopictus. Dayaproteksi daun pandan (N. scutellarium) pada jam satu jam pertama perlakuan adalah 93,55%, sedangkandaun mangkokan (P. amaryllifolius) sebesar 87,5%. Hasil analisis ANOVA menunjukan bahwa dayaproteksi ekstrak daun pandan dan mangkokan terhadap nyamuk Ae.albopictus berdasarkan jam perlakuantidak berbeda nyata. Kedua tanaman uji tersebut mempunyai potensi sebagai repelen atau dapat menghalaukedatangan nyamuk Ae. albopictus, sehingga mampu menurunkan kontak inang dengan vektor DBD.

Abstract

Abstracts: Vector control of dengue usually doing by using insecticides, whether by governmentor insecticides used in household. Using to much insecticides for long time can causedresistence of mosquito. This research aim to know resistance status of Aedes aegypti fromendemic rural in district Cimahi to cypermethrin (synthetic pyretroid). Resistance statusknowing by susceptibility methods (WHO standard) with using impregnated paper that containingcypermethrin 0.2% and 0.4%. Aedes aegypti spread by it for 15, 30, 45 and 60minutes. Number of mortality count by percentage death mosquito in each time and eachconcentration of cypermethrin. Data interpreted by WHO standard, which percentage ofdeath mosquito <80% is resistance, between 80-98% is tolerance and 99-100% is susceptible.Aedes aegypti from endemic rural in district Cimahi showed resistance of cypermethrin0.2% and 0.4%. This result showed that all mosquito still alive after 15 minutes spreadingby cypermethrin 0.2%, and only 6.7% mosquito death in cypermethrin 0.4%. After 30minutes, death mosquito counted 46.7% in cypermethrin 0.2% and 73.3% in 0.4%. 46.7%mosquito was death in 45 and 60 minutes spreading by cypermethrin 0.2% and 73.3% in0.4%. The result showed resistance ratio (RR50) of mosquito is 4.6. Aedes aegypti from endemicrural in district Cimahi showed a resistance to cypermethrin 0.2% and 0.4%.

Abstract

Abstract. Armigeres mosquito being the vector responsible for Japanese Encephalitis Virus and Filaria. Variouseffort have been done to control the mosquitoes. Acurated entomological data is needed to support controlmosquito vector, like data hits habitats armigeres. This study is aimed to compare oviposition of armigeres andthe development in various container. the clay container (44 egg)s more many found egg is compared withplastical stuff (11 egg)s. Moulting process of armigeres almost the same to culicinae, that is average ± 2 - 3days. Mosquito development in this laboratory test only until third generation (f3). Rearing of armigeres neededthe enviromental kondusif with nature habitat.
