Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dinamika psikologis yang terjadi pada difabel akibat kecelakaan yang mengalami depresi, sehingga dapat disusun sebuah program sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi depresi pada difabel akibat kecelakaan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap 6 difabel akibat kecelakaan yang tergolong dewasa awal (berusia 22-29 tahun), dan menggunakan Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) untuk mengukur tingkat depresinya. Hasil wawancara mengungkapkan bahwa kejadian traumatis (kecelakaan) dan perubahan kondisi fisik akibat kecelakaan menyebabkan difabel memiliki reaksi emosi negatif seperti sedih dan mudah marah, sehingga mengalami depresi. Selain itu, depresi pada difabel akibat kecelakaan terkait dengan rendahnya kemampuan regulasi emosi yang dimilikinya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah program pelatihan ketrampilan regulasi emosi sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi depresi pada difabel akibat kecelakaan.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui pengaruh pendampingan deteksi dini gangguan psikologis terhadap kemampuan regulasi emosi pada  caregiver  lansia.  Penelitian   ini  mempergunakan  desain  non randomized one group pretest-post test design. Subjek dalam penelitian  ini adalah 16 orang caregiver lansia berjenis perempuan yang berasal dari posyandu lansia di Kelurahan Gonilan,  berusia  39-57 tahun.  Subjekyang tergabung menjadi satu kelompok menerima perlakuan berupa pendampingan deteksi dini gangguan psikologis.   Perlakuan  terdiri  dari  2  pertemuan diberikan  selama  2 minggu dengan  durasi antara 150 menit hingga 180 menit setiap pertemuan. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala kemampuan regulasi emosi ( r=0,915), wawancara, observasi, evaluasi proses dan hasil.  Pretest disajikan  sebelum  perlakuan dan posttest  disajikan  setelah  perlakuan. Hasil  analisis uji beda menggunakan wilcoxon t (Zhitung=-2.463 dan p=0,00850,05) menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah pemberian perlakuan.  Dengan   demikian   dapat disimpulkan  bahwa  pendampingan deteksi dini gangguan psikologis berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan regulasi emosi pada caregiver lansia.

Abstract

THE ROLE OF EMOTION REGULATION AND PARENTAL ATTENTION ON SOCIAL PROBLEM-SOLVING OF BOARDING SCHOOL'S ADOLESCENT. This study aimed to know the correlation of emotion regulation and parental attention to social problem solving of boarding school adolescents. The research subjects were 65 students of SMAN CMBBS who were selected by simple random sampling method. The instruments used are social problem-solving scale, emotion regulation scale, and parental attention scale. Data were analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between emotion regulation and parental attention with social problem solving for SMAN CMBBS adolescents, with p = 0.00 (R = 0.699). Partial correlation test proves that there is a significant correlation between emotional regulation and social problem solving for SMAN CMBBS adolescents (p = 0.00; rx1y = 0.549). Partial correlation also proves that there is a significant relationship of parental attention to social problem solving for adolescent CMBBS (p = 0.032; rx2y = 0.268). This study concludes that there is a significant correlation between emotion regulation and parental attention to social problem solving of SMAN CMBBS adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of emotional regulation difficulties in mediating maternal authoritarian parenting and self-harm intentions in adolescents. All students of SMA Batik 1 Surakarta are the population of this study. The sample used is 264 students, taken using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection used a scale consisting of the self-harm intention scale (α = 0.917), the maternal authoritarian parenting style scale (α = 0.882), and the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale/DERS scale (α = 0.913). The results of the mediation analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between the mother's authoritarian parenting and the self-harm intentions through difficulty in regulating emotions in adolescents (p 0.001). The mediating role of emotional regulation difficulties on the relationship between maternal authoritarian parenting and self-harm intentions in adolescents is partial/incomplete and the estimated direct effect between maternal authoritarian parenting and self-harm is greater than the mediating effect of emotional regulation difficulties (0.005 0.043). This is possible because there are other factors that are more influential as a mediator between the maternal authoritarian parenting and the self-harm intentions than the difficulty of emotional regulation.
