Abstract

Abstract Intuitive eating is a form of eating behavior characterized by a strong connection to the physiological cues of hunger and satiety, taking into account the amount of body needs and the type of food to eat to maintain the nutritional and body health. The sampling technique is non probability sampling. A total of 263 adolescents aged 15 years to 19 years with the criteria of high school students who live in Malang, East Java and have got balanced nutrition education program be sample of this study. The results of this study show significant influence of personality extraversion, personality agreeableness, personality conscientiousness, personality neuroticism, personality openness to experiences of big five personality, healthy life behavior, and body mass index (IMT) on intuitive eating in high school students in Malang regency. (R-square = 0.066, sig = 0.032). Hypothesis test results show that neuroticism of big five personality and body mass index (IMT) have significant influence to intuitive eating. Abstrak Intuitive eating adalah suatu bentuk perilaku makan yang ditandai dengan hubungan yang kuat pada isyarat-isyarat fisiologis dari rasa lapar dan kenyang, dengan memperhatikan jumlah kebutuhan tubuh dan jenis makanan yang harus dimakan untuk menjaga kesehatan gizi dan bentuk tubuh. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non probability sampling. Sebanyak 263 remaja berusia 15 tahun sampai dengan 19 tahun dengan kriteria siswa SMA yang berdomisili di Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. Dan sudah mendapat program pendidikan gizi seimbang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan personality extraversion, personality agreeableness, personality conscientiousness, personality neuroticism, personality openness to experiences dari big five personality, perilaku hidup sehat, dan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) terhadap intuitive eating pada siswa SMA di Kabupaten Malang. (R-square = 0.066, sig = 0.032). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa neuroticism dari big five personality dan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap intuitive eating. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of emotional intelligence and attachment styles to the career decision making on SMAN 36 Jakarta. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis. The sample totaled 237 high school students were taken using a non probability sampling technique. In this study, researcher modified the instrumental data, namely Assessment of Career Decision Making (ACDM), Wong And Law Intelligence Scale (WLEIS) and Adult Attachment Scale (AAS). Research data analysis using SPSS software, while for the construct validity testing using CFA. Based on the analysis of data, there is three research conclusions. The first conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and attachment styles to rational career decision making on students. It was found that the variable that have a significant effect is the use of emotions. The second conclusion is there is no significant relationship between emotional intelligence and attachment styles to the intuitive career decision making on students. It was found that the variable that have a significant effect is the avoidance attachment style. The final conclusion there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and attachment styles to dependent career decision making on students. It was found that the variable that have a significant effect is self emotions appraisal and regulation of emotions. For further study, the researcher suggested using other variables such as personality, social support, self efficacy and demographic variables.

Abstract

This study was conducted to know the significance influence of the big five personality (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, openness, neuroticism) and coping stress (confrontive coping, distancing, self-control, social support accepting responsibility, escape avoidance, planful problem solving, positive reappraisal) towards emotional intelligence. Participants in this study are medical students of State and Private Universities in Jakarta who are undergoing pra-clinic / Co- Assistant period from the 8th to 11th semester and taken by snowball sampling technique. The CFA technique (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) was used to test the validity of the measuring instrument and multiple regression analysis was used to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that the big five personality variable and coping stress had a significant influence towards emotional intelligence. A large proportion of the variance of emotional intelligence that is explained by all independent variables of 63.5%, while the remaining 36.5% are influenced by other variables outside this research. There are six variables that have significant effect on emotional intelligence which is agreeableness, openness, self control, social support, planful problem solving, positive reappraisal. Meanwhile, the variables of extraversion, consciencetiousness, neurotiscm, confrontive coping, distancing, accepting responsibility, escape avoidance, has no significant effect on emotional intelligence. Researcher suggest that all medical faculty creates emotional intelligence as an additional course so they can understand and practice how to control their emotions properly.  DOI: 10.15408/tazkiya.v22i2.8410

Abstract

The efforts to improve student wellbeing are one of the main concerns in the current educational process. There are a lot of research on wellbeing, but there is still very little research on the wellbeing of children and adolescents, especially in the school context. This paper aims to examine internal and external factors for improving student wellbeing, as well as to reveal the inhibiting factors for student wellbeing. The student wellbeing during childhood and adolescence is important because it will determine the quality of life of students in the future. The results of the study show the factors of increasing wellbeing internally are: 1. The ability to adapt; 2. Learning orientation; 3. Self-assessment; 4. Personal characteristics, while external factors are 1. Student teacher relations; 2. Relationship between children and parents; 3. Friend relations; 4. An environment that supports discipline. While the factors that inhibit wellbeing internally are: 1. Physical health, 2. Students are not maximal in learning, 3. Inadequate achievement, 4. Inadequate material needs, 5. Negative behavior, such as lazy, arrogant, shy, and naughty. While externally are 1. The unpleasant environment 2. Receiving less pleasant treatment; 3. Not able to actualize well.
