Abstract

Instilling democratic values in students at school is an important part of character building for the young generation who have a sense of nation and state. One effort that can be made is to implement a program to strengthen the profile of Pancasila Students through the election of the OSIS Chairperson at SMA Nahdlatul Ulama, Tegal City. The election of the OSIS chairperson is not only an event to elect student leaders, but also a medium for instilling democratic values, which is an important aspect of the Pancasila Student profile. This study aims to analyze how the implementation of the Pancasila Student profile strengthening project can be carried out in the context of the election of the OSIS chairperson at SMA Nahdlatul Ulama, Tegal City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method to identify the application of democratic values in the OSIS chairperson election process. The results of the study show that the OSIS chairperson election process at SMA Nahdlatul Ulama, Tegal City has succeeded in integrating democratic values in each stage. Students can find out about the process of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project in instilling democratic values through the election of the OSIS chairperson. Participants can understand and actively participate in each stage. This provides real experience for students in implementing healthy and just democratic values.

Abstract

This research study aims to determine the form of attitudes and intolerant behaviour, the influence of Tegalan's song “Tolerance” on the attitude of religious moderation and the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting religious moderation. Religious moderation and the supporting and inhibiting factors that affect the effectiveness of the effectiveness of the song “Tolerance” in improving the attitude of religious moderation in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Tegal. Religious moderation in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Tegal. Type of This research is a qualitative research that uses research method (field research). The result of This research shows that there are still forms of intolerant attitudes and behaviors such as: Easy judging other people even to the rejection of differences. So that from The existence of this behaviour resulted in the birth of disharmony in the madrasah community as a whole. The effectiveness of the Tegalan song “Tolerance” can also increase moderate attitudes that can indirectly erode the social disharmony that occurs in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Tegal. Supporting factors for the effectiveness of the song “Tolerance” in improving the attitude of religious moderation is a policy that is supported by all components of the school. All components of the school. While the inhibiting factor is the limited time to integrating songs in formal education programs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Multicultural Education through Differentiated Learning in KB Dabin Cahaya, Bojong District, Tegal Regency. This qualitative research analyses the teachers' and managers' understanding of the two concepts, the supporting and inhibiting factors for their implementation, and the impact on students' learning achievement. The results show that teachers and managers have a good understanding of both concepts, but there are still obstacles such as lack of training and resources. Differentiated learning is proven effective in improving students' learning motivation, concept understanding, social skills, self-confidence and critical thinking. This study concludes that the implementation of differentiated learning in the context of multicultural education has great potential in shaping students' characters that are tolerant, respect differences and have good learning achievements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogic competence of Arabic teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Al Munawaroh Kalirueung, Bantarbolang District, Pemalang Regency and its impact on the interests and learning achievements of grade IV students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study show that Arabic teachers at MI Al Munawaroh have good pedagogic competence, including the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate learning. The implementation of effective pedagogic competencies is positively correlated with an increase in students' interest in learning, as seen from active participation and enthusiasm. In addition, students' learning achievement also showed a significant increase. This study recommends the importance of continuous teacher professional development to maintain and improve the quality of pedagogic competence for the optimization of Arabic language learning.
