Abstract

Sriwijaya State Polytechnic is an educational institution that provides wireless hotspots in every lecture building. With the increasing need for internet, especially on Youtube streaming, it is necessary to have an analysis in each lecture building to find out QoS (Quality of Service) and RMA (Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability) on the Wireless LAN network at Sriwijaya State Polytechnic. This study uses the Action Research method. For QoS measurement using wireshark software and Axence netTools by logging in through the hotspot for each department at the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, to find out the performance of a network using PRTG (Paessler Router Traffic Grapher) software using the ping IP Address sensor will display the availability monitoring results. The results of the largest measurement of maximum bandwidth are 21,639,256 bit / s in the Business Administration Department, for the highest delay and jitter values are 36 ms and 0.050 ms in the KPA building (Administrative Head Office). The result of the largest packet loss is 0.093% in the Department of Electrical Engineering, for the largest throughput is 0.918 Mbit / s at 1080HD video quality in the Accounting Department. Monitoring RMA aims to determine the performance of an internet network with an Availability result of 99%, this is categorized in good condition. It can be concluded that the QoS measurement results based on the TIPHON version are categorized as very good and the RMA monitoring results have good network performance results as well.Keyword: Streaming Youtube, Parameter QoS, wireshark, RMA ABSTRAKPoliteknik Negeri Sriwijaya merupakan salah satu instansi pendidikan yang menyediakan wireless hotspot di setiap gedung kuliah. Dengan adanya kebutuhan internet yang semakin meningkat khususnya pada streaming Youtube  maka perlu adanya analisis disetiap gedung kuliah untuk mengetahui QoS (Quality of Servie) dan RMA (Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability) pada jaringan Wireless LAN di Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya . Penelitian ini menggunakan  metode Action Research. Untuk pengukuran QoS menggunakan software wireshark dan Axence netTools dengan cara login melalui hotspot untuk masing-masing jurusan di Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya sedangkan untuk mengetahui kinerja dari sebuah jaringan menggunakan software PRTG (Paessler Router Traffic Grapher) dengan menggunakan sensor ping IP Address akan menampilkan hasil monitoring availability. Hasil pengukuran terbesar bandwidth maksimal yaitu 21,639,256 bit/s di Jurusan Adminstrasi Bisnis, untuk  nilai delay  dan jitter tertinggi yaitu 36 ms dan 0,050 ms di gedung KPA (Kantor Pusat Administrasi). Hasil packet loss terbesar yaitu 0,093% pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro, untuk troughput  terbesar yaitu 1,681 Mbit/s pada kualitas video 1080HD pada Jurusan Akuntansi. Monitoring RMA bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja dari suatu jaringan internet dengan hasil Availability sebesar 99% hal ini dikategorikan dalam kondisi yang baik. Dapat disimpulkan  hasil  pengukuran  QoS berdasarkan versi TIPHON hasilnya dikategorikan sangat bagus dan untuk hasil monitoring RMA memiliki hasil kinerja jaringan  yang baik juga.Kata Kunci: Streaming Youtube, Parameter QoS, wireshark, RMA

Abstract

Today's internet is one of the indicators of technological advancement since it allows people to communicate across large distances and easily obtain information, serving as a complement to meeting their everyday needs. People can engage in purchasing activities to suit their requirements. People can now shop online without having to meet the seller in person due to the rapid expansion of the internet. The home delivery option makes online buying activities more convenient and also the number of e-commerce site users (online shopping sites) grows year after year. However, there is an issue with the delivery process, particularly with the recipients. Sometimes, the recipients are not at home when the package is delivered causing they could not receive the package directly. As a result, the courier put the package wherever he can put it which has the potential to destroy it and cause it to be lost when it is outside the house. In this digital era, Internet of Things (IoT) technology is being used to solve this problem by developing a smart box-shaped device (referred to as the Smart Box) to receive packages. The major IoT component in this box is a Raspberry Pi, which can be used to monitor items around the box and control the box when it receives packages. Not only can this box receive packages, but it can also store them safely because it has an automatic lock that is linked to Arduino, a microcontroller that also has a weight sensor. The camera photographs the object in front of the box, which is then communicated by the Raspberry Pi via the Telegram automatic chat application so that the recipient (buyer) of the package may see who is coming and provide directions to the box to open the door. Buyers can also know the physical weight of the item if it is equipped with a weight sensor, which is a sign that the package has been stored safely. The study's findings reveal that the commands issued via Telegram were effective because Telegram included a chatbot capability for communicating with the Raspberry Pi that transmitted images, unlocked, and provided sensor data in response to the commands given. Additionally, this smart box may handle packages with a weight limit of fewer than 20 kilograms. Internet saat ini merupakan salah satu indikator pertanda akan kemajuan zaman karena masyarakat dapat berkomunikasi dari jarak yang jauh serta dapat mencari informasi dengan cepat sehingga menjadikannya sebagai pelengkap dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan sehari-hari. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan, masyarakat dapat melakukan kegiatan berbelanja. Mengikuti perkembangan internet yang sangat pesat, masyarakat dapat berbelanja online tanpa bertemu penjual secara langsung. Dengan fitur pengiriman sampai ke rumah menjadikan kegiatan belanja online jadi semakin mudah menjadikan pengguna situs e-commerce (situs belanja online) meningkat setiap tahunnya. namun, terdapat masalah dalam proses pengiriman terutama pada pihak penerima, yaitu penerima tidak ada di lokasi pengiriman sehingga mereka tidak dapat menerima paket tersebut secara langsung. alhasil kurir meletakkan paket tidak pada tempatnya yang berpotensi merusak paket tersebut dan berpotensi hilang pada saat diluar rumah. Pada era digital ini, terknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dapat dijadikan solusi akan permasalahan tersebut dengan diciptakannya sistem pintar berbentuk kotak (dinamakan Smart Box pada penelitian ini) untuk menerima paket. Kotak ini di lengkapi Raspberry Pi sebagai komponen utama IoT yang dapat digunakan untuk memonitor objek sekitar kotak dan mengkontrol kotak saat akan menerima paket. Tak hanya menerima, kotak ini dapat menyimpan paket dengan aman karena dilengkapi kunci otomatis yang dihubungkan dengan Arduino sebagai Microkontroler yang juga mengusung sensor berat. kamera menangkap objek di depan kotak yang nantinya foto dari objek tersebut dikirimkan oleh raspberry Pi menggunaakan via aplikasi chat otomatis Telegram sehingga penerima (pembeli) paket dapat melihat siapa yang datang sekaligus memberikan perintah kepada kotak untuk membuka pintunya. dengan dilengkapi sensor berat, pembeli juga dapat mengethui berat fisik paket tersebut dan menjadi pertanda paket sudah disimpan dengan aman. hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perintah yang diberikan melalui telegram berjalan dengan sebagai mestinya karena Telegram meiliki fitur chatBot untuk komunikasi ke Rasperry Pi yang mengirim foto, membuka kunci, dan mengirim data sensor sesuai perintah yang diberikan. selain itu kotak pintar ini dapat menerima paket sampai dengan kapasitas dibawah 20 Kilogram.

Abstract

The development of technology in modern times is increasingly sophisticated, so as to create a tool that facilitates human work in operating these electronic goods. When you want to travel far and for a long time, there are often omissions due to forgetting to turn off electronic items such as lights and fans. This does not save the cost of electricity bills and is of course very detrimental. This research was conducted to create a utilization of the advantages of Google Assistant for monitoring and controlling smart rooms. The use of Google Assisstant is very easy if you want to control electronic devices at one time and especially at a very long distance. The electronic devices used in this study were headlights, RGB lights, rice cookers, humidifiers and DC fans. The results of this research can control the lights, rice cooker and humidifier remotely, the fan turns on at a predetermined speed according to the temperature in the room and there is a timer to turn the lights on and off automatically so that it greatly facilitates human work.

Abstract

Water plays a vital role in human life. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 416 / MENKES / PER / IX / 1990, the criteria for clean and healthy water are clean and clear, tasteless, free from odors, toxic substances, and excess chemicals with a water taste standard (pH) that can be consumed is 6.5 to 9.2 and is included in the minimum limit of total dissolved solids (TDS). Therefore, in this study, a measuring instrument was designed consisting of criteria included in clean and healthy water standards that are easy to apply close to the industrial environment. This study aims to (1) find out the system of designing tools to measure water quality with IoT-based Arduino Uno technology, (2) knowing the telecommunications process that occurs in sensors integrated into the internet, and (3) knowing the analysis results of water quality measuring devices with IoT-based Arduino Uno technology. This study conducted testing of water samples in industrial areas. The test was carried out with 3 types of sensors, namely pH sensors, TDS sensors, and turbidity sensors controlled by microcontrollers. The results of this study show the level of pH, dissolved solids and the level of turbidity in water that can be monitored anytime and anywhere through an application while connected to the internet. With this tool, it greatly facilitates the stage of testing pollutants in rivers, it is proven that in one test, it can produce 3 data with different parameters.

Abstract

Alpha - qwerty reverse is one part of the classical cryptographic algorithm that serves as the security of infor mation by encoding to information. The process of encryption of that information is encrypted and description. Alpha - qwerty reverse algorithm is a development of vigenere cipher cryptographic algorithms. Alpha - qwerty reverse differences in terms of number of characters that are more than vigenere cipher in which the alpha - qwerty reverse using 92 characters while vigenere cipher uses only 26 characters. Moreover, in terms of the use of character is also different. In vigenere cipher, the characters used an a lphabet sequence either in the original message (plaintext), a key or an encrypted message (ciphertext) whereas the alpha - qwerty reverse using the alphabetical order of the plaintext and key keyboard. Therefore, in this study will design a security applica tion that is text information with the cryptographic algorithm of alpha - qwerty reverse using a eclipse software. The aim of designing applications, namely to secure the important text information contained in the mobile phone based on android with the purp ose of storing or transmitting through a mobile phone communication service. From this study it can be concluded that alpha - qwerty reverse cryptographic algorithms can be implemented on the text information security applications designed and as the latest cryptographic algorithms to secure the information by generating a better level of security.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang kesantunan berbahasa dalam bermedia sosial dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kesantunan siswa dalam bertutur bahasa yang baik di dunia nyata maupun di dunia maya. Di dunia maya, khususnya dalam bermedia sosial, para siswa belum begitu memahami betapa pentingnya kesantunan berbahasa dan betapa berisikonya jika salah dalam bertutur bahasa. Khalayak yang menjadi sasaran adalah para siswa SMP IT Azizah Darussalam Palembang yang berjumlah enam puluh orang. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada para siswa akan pentingnya kesantunan berbahasa dalam bermedia sosial. Dengan diadakannya kegiatan ini, para siswa diharapkan dapat mengendalikan tutur bahasa yang digunakan dalam media sosial agar menjadi generasi yang berkarakter positif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan adalah metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Penggunaan metode ceramah dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini didasari pertimbangan keefektifan penyampaian materi kepada siswa dengan jumlah besar. Sedangkan, penggunaan metode tanya jawab didasari pertimbangan agar terjadinya interaksi di dalam kelas dan sekaligus dapat digunakan untuk mengukur keberhasilan penyampaian materi. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan tim pengabdian didapati hasil bahwa kegiatan berlangsung dengan baik dengan ditandai adanya partisipasi dan respon positif siswa dan pihak sekolah. Dari kegiatan pengabdian ini juga dihasilkan luaran berupa jurnal ilmiah dan banner yang berisikan pesan-pesan moral tentang kesantunan berbahasa
