Abstract

The research was conducted in April 2013 at the Shipyard that runs Tiku Tanjung MutiaraAgam District of West Sumatra Province. This study uses a survey method that aims to determinethe cause of the damage and engineering maintenance / repair on Trolling Fishing boats inDockyard that runs Tiku.The results showed that the damage to the vessel's fishing trolling in Dockyard that runsTiku caused by vermin, the effects of temperature and weather. Repair techniques performed inGalngan ship that runs Tiku is simple and traditional, which is still based on the expertise andexperience of the workers ship. Abstract

The condition of the basic of fishery port in PPS Belawan was almost all in goodwith standard of port facilities A class. But, its better to improve its function inorder to more efficient and effective. The port of facilities consist of wharf,harbor, main port, jetty, revetment, pool and cruise lines. To know the conditionand the level of utilization in PPS Belawan the researcher conducted the researchthrough survey method. Based on the calculation technique of utilizationfacilitywas goog. Then, the land in PPS area was 54,84 ha and had built the kindsof facilities to fishing equipment further. Until now, 51,74 ha is used and theempty land area was 3,2 ha. Furthermore, the it presentation was 94,17% and itwas good criteria. This pier was made of concrete that serves the place of load andunload the fishing boats. The level of pier utilization was 327,18% with theappropriate long was 503,86 metres. The main harbor road has the 2.512 metreslong and 9 metres with the concrete construction, the total of jetty was 3 unit withsize was 48 metres long and 7 metres wide . the revetment was made of concreteconstruction 256 metres. Abstract

This research was conducted in 17-31 March 2015 in the ocean fishing portBelawan. This research aims to identify the service system unloading fishing botsas well as facilities and equipment to support the smooth operation of loading andunloading of vessel fishing in the ocean fishing port Belawan. The study wasconducted using a survey method. To solve the problem of the unloading serves inthe ocean fishing port Belawan was divided into two stages. First stage was toevaluate the existing capasity of an unloading port. Second stage was to find outof the optimum number of server that should be provided this time and to forcastof the server need in the next five year or in 2018. Data were quantitativelyanalysed by using queuing model and then combined with the total of minimumcost to find out the optimum number of server. The results showed that theoptimum number of the server for an average of ship arrival from january todecember 2014 was 10 servers, while in the lowest and peak season about 3 and15 servers were needed. Furthermore, the forecasting of ship arrival number in2018 showed that there would be about 9.244 ships arriving at PPS Belawan andthe arrival rate of ship per day was 25,33 so it would be about 12 servers.Kata kunci: Optimize, Unloading, Queuing, Server

Abstract

ABSTRACTRendra_triardi@yahoo.comThis study was conducted in July 2014 at fishing port Dumai city. Thepurpose of this study was to determine the extent of charging time efficiencyfishing supplies fishing boat gill nets by using the survey method.The results showed that the level of efficiency of the supplies chargingtime at fishing port Dumai City ranged from 53.45% to 87.37% with an averageof 67.96% and a relatively less efficient. The factors that affect the level ofefficiency of the supplies charging time is the amount of fuel (X1), water (X2), ice(X3), ABK (X4), time wasted (X5), and the size of the fishing vessel (X6). Byusing multiple regression analysis of the obtained value Y = 88,487 + 0,011 X1 +0,081 X2 - 1,164 X3 - 4,339 X4 – 0,631 X5 + 3,346 X6. Relationship is positivefor efficiency is the amount of fuel, water, and the size of the vessel, while therelationship is negative is the amount of ice, crew, and time wasted. Theserelationships have a strong correlation (R = 0.911) and an impact on the efficiencyof the supplies charging time.Keywords : Efficiency, Gill Net, Supplies Charging Time1)

Abstract

The research was conducted on 17 - March 31, 2015. aims to determinethe type and capacity of facilities and relationships in existing fish landing sites inocean fishing port of Belawan, and beneficial for all parties, both readers,manager of the fishing port, fish landing sites and some information about thetype, capacity, condition and the level of utilization of the existing facilities in theport of Belawan Ocean Fisheries. Data obtained in the study of the 5 samplesTangkahan with the type of fishing gear used. The data obtained from therespondents are presented in tables and analyzed descriptively. Results of researchthat has been conducted addressing the relationship of facilities and activities atthe Port of landing catches of North Sumatra Belawan Ocean Fisheries that allfacilities used to help the process of landing. It's just that all the facilities areinadequate, pier length 154M all the activities carried out didermaga, not thedivision of each dock for various activities.Keyword : Facilities, landings

Abstract

Purpose of this research is to know the role of fishing port for giving contribution at fisheries sector in Agam regency, west Sumatera province. A series survey activitywas conducted to evaluate the development of fisheries sector at Tiku regency with the presence a fishing port at Tiku village. The data was analyzed by percentage (%) calculation of fish production at tiku fishing port, further to compare with fish production data at Agam regency. The result shows that the Tiku fishing port was given an incremental number of fishing boat at Agam regency as 43.92-54.69%. The number of fishermen was increased as 53.75- 69.84%, and the number of fishing gear was given contribution as 46.20-68.79%. The total fish production was given small contributionas 28.33-7.58% or smaller than 50%.Keywords: Agam regency, contribution, fisheries sector, Tiku fishing port

Abstract

A series survey activity was carried out for evaluating management function atlabuanhaji fishing port, South Aceh regency. This research was emphasis on planning, organizing, action and controlling at management pattern of labuhanhaji fishing port. The facilities of fishing port data and daily activities description of staff at labuhanhaji fishing port was used as additional information and consideration in management of labuhanhaji fishing port. Abstract

This research was conducted on June 2014 at Tanjung Bakau’s Village Rangsang’s Sub-district Regency of Kepulauan Meranti Province of Riau. The methods used is survey method. There are three steps to finish the research. The first step is preparation and survey. The second step is data retrieval and the third step is processing and analysis of data. The purpose of this research was to analyze the process manufacture of the frame and wood in the ship. Therefore the level of efficiency on used wood as was calculated to obtain its percentase. The wood type that used for frame is leban’s wood (Vitex cotassus). It is reach 91,82 %. This indicates that the use of wood for frame is effective.Keywords:Tanjung Bakau, Frame, ship, wood.

Abstract

This research was conducted in January 2016 at the Fish Landing Base (PPI) Dumai. This research purpose to know the feasibility and arrange the development direction sondong effort will be undertaken by fishermen Dumai. The method used is a survey method. The result of this study show sondong effort deserves to be developed, in the review of the feasibility of its development with a score of 3.25. Whereas the financial efforts of feasible developed by investment of Rp 99.818.000. Value of Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) of 1,73, the Financial Rate of Return (FRR) 61,49% higher than the bank rate at 7,25%, and a payback period of capital (PPC) 1,63 years. Abstract

This research was conducted in December 2013 at the street Yos Sudarso Number.50 Village Sungailiat, District Sungailiat, Bangka, Bangka Belitung Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of facilities as well as the size and condition of the facilities in the archipelago Sungailiat fishing port, determine the level of utilization of fishing port facilities in the archipelago Sungailiat and find solutions to the problems of utilization of fishing port facilities in the archipelago Sungailiat. While the benefits are expected to know the truth from the facility, activity in the archipelago Sungailiat fishing port as well as a source of information for the fishing port of the archipelago and the subsequent research, especially in areas related ie Evaluation Utilization Facilities Archipelago Fishery Port Sungailiat province of Bangka Belitung. Facilities that have analyzed the utilization rate is 26.57% pier, harbor pool facilities, spacious pools to the port that is 95.29%, while the depth of the pool is 129% port, the fuel tank facilities utilization rate is 4.78%, the ice needs facilities utilization rate was 81.42%, and freshwater facilities utilization rate is 126.90%.Keywords: Facility Type, Condition of Facilities, Facilities Utilization Rate, Fishing Port Facilities Archipelago Sungailiat
