Abstract

This research explores the developments and challenges in decentralized finance (DeFi) since 2015 and the increasing use of blockchain technology. DeFi provides access to financial services without traditional intermediaries, improving the economic system's efficiency through automated and transparent smart contracts. The bibliometric analysis shows a significant growth in DeFi-related publications, with 1,909 articles identified between 2015 and 2025. The research also highlights the importance of collaboration between authors and stakeholders to build a more secure and sustainable financial ecosystem. Analysis results using VOSviewer identified 173 keywords in 18 clusters, focusing on "digital twin" and "artificial intelligence." This research recommends further exploration into DeFi adoption, blockchain technology innovation, and the application of smart contracts to support the development of an inclusive, efficient, and innovative DeFi ecosystem in the future. In addition, this research aims to bridge existing research gaps and provide deeper insights into the potential of DeFi in the global financial system.

Abstract

This research examines the development and trends of Digital Content Marketing (DCM) as a strategy to build better relationships with customers. We analyzed data from international journals published between 1988 and 2025 through a bibliometric approach, covering various elements such as digital transformation, social media, and consumer social learning. The bibliometric visualization revealed that "digital transformation" has become a central theme closely related to issues such as "social media influence" and "digital consumer engagement," suggesting a trend shift towards new topics such as "social media content marketing" in 2019-2020. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating digital and content marketing strategies to increase consumer engagement in today's digital age. The analysis found that scientific mapping and future research possibilities regarding interactive marketing can be used as recommendation variables for future researchers and as a reference for future articles.

Abstract

Crowdsourcing has emerged as an innovative strategy that utilizes mass collaboration to solve problems, gather ideas, and generate solutions in various fields. This research aims to identify articles that examine the role of crowdsourcing in the new 5.0 era and provide an understanding of crowdsourcing as an innovative approach to marketing. In addition, this research aims to show and explain the mapping of research relevant to the theme. In Industry 5.0, crowdsourcing has entered the marketing world and is starting to be used by some companies. This research uses qualitative methods with bibliometric techniques by utilizing Similarity Visualization (Vosviewers) as an application by entering keywords such as External Stimulus, Cognitive Response, External Stimulus, Opportunity, Barriers, SME, Innovation, Innovator, Knowledge, Digital Sharing to search for articles through Publish or Perish with a total of 346 articles which were then processed using VosViewers. The analysis results found that scientific mapping and the possibility of future research on crowdsourcing can be used as a recommendation variable for future researchers and as a reference for future articles.

Abstract

The Metaverse refers to a virtual environment concept that evolves in parallel with the real world, driven by technological advancements. In the present day, the Metaverse functions as a medium for entertainment and an emerging ecosystem where entrepreneurs can innovate and expand their businesses. This study aims to review existing literature on the Metaverse within the entrepreneurship framework and comprehensively analyze its role as a dynamic business platform for entrepreneurs. This research also seeks to map the studies conducted to help researchers and businesses explore and develop the potential of the Metaverse as a future entrepreneurial opportunity. The Metaverse provides opportunities for entrepreneurs to implement innovative promotional strategies in the digital world, which mimic real-world business dynamics. In the context of industry, the Metaverse is increasingly strengthening its position as a new entrepreneurial ecosystem, and some companies have started to utilize it for business expansion. The qualitative method used in this research is a bibliometric technique through the Visualization of Similarities (Vosviewer) application, with the keywords metaverse, entrepreneur, digital, and experience. This research identified 258 articles, which were then analyzed using Vosviewer. The results of this analysis produce a mapping of scientific developments related to the Metaverse and reveal potential future research that can be a reference for researchers in developing research in the entrepreneurship field in the metaverse era.

Abstract

This study aims to map research development on customer engagement (CE) comprehensively. This qualitative research conducts historical and bibliometric analysis of quality-standard scholarly articles published in leading international journals. CE has experienced significant growth in the last decade, especially in 2021. Bibliometric analysis was used to analyze articles from Elsevier, Emerald, Springer, Taylor Francis, and IEE databases. A search using Publish or Perish from 2007 to 2025 resulted in 621 articles. Co-occurrence analysis found 1,352 keywords derived from titles and abstracts. The occurrence of keywords is limited to 5; from the limitation of the occurrence, 69 keywords are divided into 8 clusters. Through visualization of research trends and author collaboration networks, bibliometric analysis is essential for developing CE research. This analysis resulted in various suggestions for additional research projects. The analysis results also help map the scientific landscape and determine the direction of future research on customer engagement. This study also emphasizes the shift of CE research from traditional marketing methods to digital engagement strategies. Highly cited works and influential authors were also identified, demonstrating an essential role in developing theory. In addition, new topics such as disengagement and problems in implementing CE strategies still need to be researched. Visualizations of overlay and density reveal how research priorities have changed over time and how specific key keywords dominate the literature. This study provides practical insights for academics and practitioners and offers a reference to identify research gaps, recent subjects, and development opportunities in customer engagement.
