Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the economy, total costs and economic feasibilityof the soybean threshing process using the power thresher MPT 001 Type atLolah Satu Village, East Tombariri District, Minahasa Regency. Break evenpoint value or operational break even point of the power thresher MPT 001Type is at an operating level of 17.866,53 kg/year or equivalent to Rp.7.878.577/year. Analysis of the operational feasibility of the power thresherMPT 001 Type based on the amount of service potential available using acommercial scale calculation base is, resuted NPV value of Rp.302.056.654,69, the IRR of 195,982%, the B/C ratio of 1.4497. This conditionshows that the power thresher MPT 001 Type is economically feasible. Basedon the existing condition on site the machine does not fulfil the operationconditions that guarantee sustainability. The sensitivity analysis shows thatchanges in the level of working hours per year and the price of drying servicesare very influential on the feasibility of operations with the lowest level beingthe service price of 1.1 times the total cost of threshing services.Keywords: economics analysis. power thresher, soybean

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to analyze the economy, total costs and economicfeasibility of the of palm sugar processing machine HORJA MPN20 concerning the total costof processing, and economic feasibility is assessed from 4 criteria, namely: BEP, NPV, B/CRATIO, and IRR used by farmer groups in Talaitad Village, Suluun Tareran Subdistrict,South Minahasa Regency. The results showed an analysis of the operational feasibility of sappalm into palm sugar based on the amount of potential services available and using the basisof commercial business scale calculation resulted in a Net Present Value (NPV) ofRp.153,130,851.72, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 97%, Benefit/Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio) of1.32 and Break Even Point of operation of palm sugar processing machine MPN20 are at anoperating rate of 116.50kg/year or equivalent to Rp.4,653,142.02/year.Key words: economics analysis, palm sugar, processing machine of palm sugar

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of palm sugar processing machine HORJA MPN20 including temperature conditions, product yield, energy consumption and energy efficiency of palm sugar processing machine HORJA MPN20 located in the farmer group Karya Tani. The results showed that the average fire temperature in the first to third experiments was 205.30ËšC, 214.4ËšC, and 240.4ËšC, respectively. The yields in the first to third experiments were respectively 9.47%, 10.40%, 11.03% with an average of 10.30%. Gas energy consumption in the first to third experiments were 136,533,62 kJ, 136,533,62 kJ, 141,241.68 kJ with an average of 138,102,98 kJ. The consumption of electrical energy in the first to third experiments were 711.48 kJ, 323.40 kJ, 662.97 kJ with an average of 565.95 kJ. Human energy consumption in the first to third experiments were 502.08 kJ, 313.8 kJ, 376.56 kJ with an average of 397.48 kJ. The energy efficiency of the engine in the first to third experiments was respectively 44.56%, 44.29%, 42.39% with an average of 43.75%. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to calculate what the total cost per hour at each nira arendistillery, and also to calculate the economic feasibility value of the distillation tool The benefitof this study is to provide information on the total cost per hour and economic feasibility ofoperating a distillation tool or distillery nira aren into bioethanol. The results of this studyresulted in a total cost of Rp. 69,721 / hour, and the results of the Break Even Point (BEP)calculation based on working hours of 1,456 / year were 6756.60 liters / year or equivalent toRp. 19,785,287 / year. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to measure the dimensions of length, width, and thickness of soybean seeds at (two) different moisture content at 14% moisture content at harvest and 9% after drying, as well as determine the arithmetic diameter and geometry of soybean seeds, calculate the weight of 1000 soybean seeds in ( two) different moisture content, namely water content at harvest 14% and after drying 9%, calculating roundness, bulk angle and friction angle of soybean seeds at (two) different moisture content at water content at harvest 14% and after drying 9%, and determine the bulk angle and friction angle of soybean seeds at (two) different moisture content at 14% water content at harvest and 9% after drying. The research method was carried out by the experimental method. Data were collected on soybean seeds with 2 levels of moisture content, namely the water content after threshing (14%) and after drying (9%). From the results of this study, the average length, width, and thickness of soybean seeds of the Anjasmoro variety were soybean seeds at 9% moisture content, respectively 7.54 mm, 6.21 mm, 5.04 mm, and at water content 14% respectively 7.70 mm, 6.22 mm, 5.07 mm, obtained an average weight of 100 soybean seeds 16.10 g. The average weight of 1000 soybean seeds is 161 g, the bulk angle of soybean seeds at 9% moisture content ranges (23.2 – 25.4) with the average value of soybean seeds at 9% moisture content and 14% moisture content ranging from ( 19.25º). The lowest bulk angle of soybean seeds was at 9% and 14% moisture content (20.03º – 18.05º) with an average value of soybean seeds 9% and 14% (18.58º – 20.09º) and the highest bulk angle of soybean seeds was at moisture content 9% and 14% (23.01º – 23.00º) the average value of soybean seeds 9% and 14% (21.29º – 21.08º). The average friction angle of soybean seeds at 9% moisture content (14.10º) and the average soybean seed at 14% moisture content (17.01º).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengering solar hybrid dengan mengurangi kehilangan panas akibat perkembangan mikroorganisme dan aktivitas enzim yang dapat mengganggu proses pemanasan. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Liberia Kecamatan Modayag Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur, dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data melalui grafik dan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April hingga Desember 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kehilangan panas tertinggi terjadi pada dua hari pertama, dengan kelembapan relatif 36% dan tertinggi 58%. Dua hari pertama memiliki kelembaban tinggi sebesar 61,49% dan 56,46%, sedangkan dua hari kedua memiliki kelembaban tinggi sebesar 11,83% dan 11,65%. Kehilangan panas pada dua hari pertama tertinggi sebesar 2,20-15,86%, dan dua hari kedua sebesar 1,89-2,63%, 1,57-3,01%, dan 1,62-9,92%. Efisiensi tertinggi pada dua hari pertama sebesar 1,18-5,86% dan dua hari kedua sebesar 1,74-8,62%. Hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pengontrol termostat untuk kehilangan panas selama hari pertama dan kedua adalah efektif. Abstract

Kacang tanah adalah komoditas agribisnis yang bernilai ekonomi cukup tinggi dan merupakan salah satu sumber protein dalam pola pangan penduduk Indonesia. Kacang tanah merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan di Kabupaten Minahasa. Kecamatan Kawangkoan merupakan salah satu wilayah dikenal sebagai sentra usaha pascapanen kacang tanah atau lebih dikenal sebagai kacang “tore” atau “kacang sangrai” dan berbagai produk ikutan olahan lainnya. Proses penyangraian kacang tanah berlangsung kurang lebih 45 menit, menggunakan wajan berdiameter 1.5 m dan berbahan bakar kayu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung total energi yang digunakan pada tahapan proses penyangraian kacang tanah varietas batik, serta menentukan efisiensi selama proses penyangraian kacang tanah varietas batik secara tradisional. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara survei analisis energi dan eksperimental. Diperoleh hasil bahwa Total energi yang digunakan selama proses penyangraian kacang tanah varietas batik ini adalah 191.560.170 Kkal, hasil perolehan dari Energi bahan bakar kayu dengan nilai 191.557.600 kkal dan Energi Manusia yaitu 2,570 kkal dan total untuk menyangrai kacang tanah untuk 155,4 kg kacang adalah 42,38 kg kayu. Efisiensi penyangraian selama proses penyangraian kacang tanah menggunakan alat sangrai tradisional adalah 27,62%. Kata kunci: energi, kacang tanah, tradisional

Abstract

Absract Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis kelayakan ekonomi alat pengolahan nira aren menjadi gula semut secara tradisional di Desa Wanga Kecamatan Motoling Timur. Hal itu dilakukan berdasarkan permasalahan yang timbul di desa tersebut yaitu  belum pernah ada yang menganalisis proses pengolahan yang dilakukan secara tradisional dari segi kajian ekonomi penerapan dalam hal biaya total dan kelayakan ekonomi atau finansialnya. Berdasarkan kondisi di atas, alat pengolahan nira aren menjadi gula semut perlu dilakukan analisis ekonomi pada biaya total selama proses pengolahan gula semut dan kelayakan ekonomi yang dinilai   dari 4 kriteria yaitu BEP, NPV, B/C RATIO, dan IRR. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik survei yang diperoleh dari kuesioner dan wawancara serta teknik observasi yang diperoleh dari pengamatan di lapangan. Hasil perhitungan analisis kelayakan ekonomi pada alat pengolahan nira aren menjadi gula semut secara tradisional diperoleh hasil perhitungan biaya total sebesar Rp. 39.967/jam. Berdasarkan kondisi operasional di lapangan diperoleh nilai NPV lebih dari 0 yaitu Rp. 57.548.411, nilai B/C Ratio lebih dari 1 yaitu 1.422 dan nilai IRR lebih dari discount rate yaitu 198%. Sedangkan untuk BEP operasional alat pengolahan nira aren menjadi gula semut secara tradisional berada pada tingkat operasi 2.625 liter nira/tahun atau setara dengan Rp. 2.798.465/tahun yang artinya pada titik tersebut jumlah produksi atau jumlah penjualan mencapai titik impas sehingga alat pengolahan nira aren menjadi gula semut secara tradisional layak secara ekonomi.
