Abstract

PTPN V Sei. Garo uses the recommended worm screw for about 1000 hours of work, but because of the often unexpected things sometimes the age of worm screw is always lower. To anticipate these problems then modified the material and dimensions are required. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of material changes and dimensions on the age of worm screw. Then do a simulation using Autodesk Inventor to know the maximum and maximum deflection. After the calculation manually, based on data worm screw type AP-17 screw life worms obtained about 777 hours of work (± 1 month). The modifications were made for the addition of age: modified thick screw and pitch distance was obtained age of 1388 working hours and 920 hours of work, after the simulation using Autodesk Inventor was obtained maximum voltage 3.1 of Mpa and 6.3 Mpa with maximum deflection of 0.01 mm. However, by increasing the thickness and spacing of the screw pitch resulted in reduced screw press capacity, consequently impacting the capacity of the plant. There were many disadvantages from the modification of the dimensions, therefore the modification of matrial from AISI 1020 to AISI 1080 was obtained the screw worm life age of about 2190 hours of work, after simulation using Autodesk Inventor was obtained maximum voltage of 6.4 MPa with maximum deflection worth of 0. 01 mm.Key words: Screw Worm Age, Modified Dimension, Modified Matrial, Autodesk Inventor Simulation

Abstract

The aim of this research is to get information on the contribution of the yard against the income of the family. This research is descriptive research. The populationin this reseach were 396 families. Witdrawal of samples is using a purposive sampling of 50% of the 102 families in the hamlet of the Trukorejo Lor. Method of data collection used are the methods of observation, interviews and dokumentation. Methods of data analysis is using the table percentage. Research result obtained are : (1) the average area of lawn by family there was 1.094 m2. (2) Utilization of the family compound was classified as low. (3) The form of the farm yard utilization variation under the shrubs, plants, agriculture and animal husbandry. (4) the average familys income that comes from the grounds was Rp 507.500 monthly. (5) The average income of the families outside the grounds was Rp 2.977.678 monthly. (6) The contribution towards the total income of the family yard belongs to low with an average was 13,91 %. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang kontribusi pekarangan terhadap pendapatan keluarga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 396 keluarga. Penarikan sampel menggunakan PurposiveSampling sebesar 50% dari 102 keluarga di Dusun Trukorejo Lor. Metode Pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan tabel persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Rata-rata luas pekarangan yang dimiliki keluarga 1.094 m2. (2) Pemanfaatan pekarangan keluarga tergolong rendah. (3) Variasi pemanfaatan pekarangan berupa pertanian hortikultura, pertanian perdu, tanaman keras dan peternakan. (4) Rata-rata pendapatan keluarga yang berasal dari pekarangan sebesar Rp 507.500 perbulan. (5) Rata-rata pendapatan keluarga di luar pekarangan Rp 2.977.678 perbulan. (6) Kontribusi pekarangan terhadap pendapatan keluarga tergolong rendah yaitu 13.91%.Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Pekarangan, Pendapatan Keluarga

Abstract

Lebakaso Hamlet, Cikahuripan Village, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency, is a hamlet that requires attention in increasing livestock management capacity. The community already has a village organization, the Pasir Sela Forest Farmers Group (KTH), to improve livestock management. A green fodder chopper machine and machine maintenance operation training are needed. The purpose of the Community Service program contract activity is to improve the quality of partners and provide training, implementation methods for problem identification activities, preparing machine designs, machine procurement and manufacture, providing machine operation and maintenance training, and machine handover and activity reporting. The results of the activity have been realized according to plan based on the implementation method of the availability of a chopper machine that has an electric motor drive, is capable of chopping stems and grass, has a filter feature, and speed variations with a choice of pulley sizes and machine construction that can be easily mobilized. The implementation of operation and maintenance training and handover of the chopper machine tool was successfully carried out with PkM KTH Pasir Sela partners. Furthermore, to ensure the allocation of the machine and its utilization, monitoring and evaluation are carried out.

Abstract

Organic waste management, particularly from canteens or kitchens, which often consists of leftover meat, fish, and vegetables, remains a significant challenge. If processed properly, this waste has the potential to be used as maggot feed. To process this organic waste, it is necessary to develop an organic waste slurry machine designed to process organic waste from the Pujasera or campus canteen into maggot feed. The development process for this machine includes six stages: Planning, Conceptual design, Detailed design, Technical documentation, Manufacturing and assembly, and Testing. From these stages, a compact organic waste slurry machine is produced with dimensions of 815 x 425 x 840 mm, driven by a 1-phase electric motor with a power of 1.5 HP (1,100 Watts) and a rotation speed of 1,050 RPM. The test results show that this machine is effective in shredding organic waste with a capacity of 24 kg/hour, a maximum power of 1,037 Watts, and an energy consumption of 0.860 kWh. These results provide an innovative and economical solution, promoting the use of organic waste as a valuable resource.

Abstract

Mesin Computer Numerical Control (CNC) merupakan peralatan manufaktur yang dikendalikan oleh komputer dengan bahasa numerik. Salah satu jenisnya adalah CNC Milling yang menggunakan sistem hidrolik melalui Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) untuk proses clamp dan unclamp material kerja. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah tekanan hidrolik yang tidak stabil dan suhu HPU yang tinggi akibat beban kerja berlebih (overload), sehingga menyebabkan lemahnya sistem clamping, meningkatnya konsumsi oli hidrolik, serta bertambahnya downtime mesin. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dilakukan modifikasi dan instalasi tambahan pada pompa HPU. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi identifikasi kerusakan, studi literatur, perancangan modifikasi, pengadaan komponen, instalasi, pengujian, dan evaluasi hasil. Hasil modifikasi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan satu unit pompa HPU beserta instalasi pendukung mampu meningkatkan tekanan hingga 80 bar dan menurunkan temperatur HPU sebesar 28,2°C. Selain itu, konsumsi oli hidrolik turun menjadi 14 liter per bulan, dan nilai Downtime to Equipment (DTE) hidrolik berkurang hingga 0,07%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, modifikasi sistem HPU terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan stabilitas tekanan, menurunkan temperatur operasi, serta mendukung peningkatan produktivitas mesin CNC Milling yang telah dimodifikasi.
