Abstract

The Ferry Port of South Sumatra Province is located in Tanjung Api-Api, Banyuasin Regency. This port connects to the Port of Tanjung Kelian – Muntok, Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands. Problems that often occur in the management and operation of the Tanjung Api-Api ferry port are service performance problems that cause ineffective port management due to low service and the occurrence of queues of ships to lean on and carry out loading and unloading activities because they have to wait for ships that have not finished doing the activity on the pier. So that it causes complaints and dissatisfaction of service users with crossing transportation services. This paper is intended to analyze the service time of ships at the port by calculating the average time of raising and lowering passengers and vehicles as well as the average time of maneuvering ships docking and leaving the port pool, as well as adding the variables of opening and closing times for ramps and processing time for approval letters. The sail has not been added by previous researchers. Then the calculation results are compared with the service time that has been set at the Tanjung Api-Api ferry port. The results of the study the average service time of ships at the Tanjung Api-Api ferry port is 121.175 minutes/ship. The ship's service time exceeds the ship's service time that has been set at the port, which is 120 minutes/ship. Abstrak Pelabuhan Angkutan Penyeberangan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan terletak di Tanjung Api-Api Kabupaten Banyuasin. Pelabuhan ini menghubungkan ke Pelabuhan Tanjung Kelian - Muntok Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi dalam pengelolaan dan penyelenggaraan di pelabuhan penyeberangan Tanjung Api-Api adalah masalah kinerja pelayanan yang menyebabkan pengelolaan pelabuhan yang tidak efektif dikarenakan rendahnya pelayanan dan terjadinya antrian kapal untuk bersandar dan melakukan kegiatan bongkar muat, karena harus menunggu kapal yang belum selesai melakukan aktivitas di dermaga. Sehingga menimbulkan keluhan dan ketidak puasan pengguna jasa terhadap pelayanan angkutan penyeberangan. Paper ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis waktu pelayanan kapal di pelabuhan dengan menghitung waktu rata-rata menaikkan dan menurunkan penumpang dan kendaraan serta waktu rata-rata manuver kapal merapat dan keluar dari kolam pelabuhan, serta menambahkan variabel waktu buka dan tutup pintu rampa serta waktu pengurusan surat persetujuan berlayar yang belum ditambahkan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Kemudian hasil perhitungan dibandingkan dengan waktu pelayanan yang telah ditetapkan di pelabuhan penyeberangan Tanjung Api-Api. Hasil penelitian rata-rata waktu pelayanan kapal di pelabuhan penyeberangan Tanjung Api-Api sebesar 121,175 menit/ kapal. Waktu pelayanan kapal tersebut melebihi waktu pelayanan kapal yang telah ditetapkan di pelabuhan yaitu 120 menit/kapal.

Abstract

The choice of transportation mode is a crucial aspect of student mobility, especially in higher education environments with high levels of activity. Students tend to select transportation modes based on cost, travel time, convenience, accessibility, and safety. However, the high use of private vehicles among students has led to increased traffic congestion and road accidents, as seen in Bengkulu City. On the other hand, the suboptimal quality of public transportation services has contributed to the low interest of students in using public transport. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the transportation mode choice of Universitas Bengkulu students and to evaluate the effectiveness of public transportation services. The method used is binary logistic regression analysis combined with stated preference to understand mode preferences based on cost and travel time comparisons. The resulting mode choice model indicates that students prefer private vehicles unless public transportation offers more competitive costs and travel times. The study results reveal that travel cost and time are the most influential factors in mode selection. If public transportation becomes more affordable or offers shorter travel times, students are more likely to switch to it. The study concludes that improving the quality of public transportation services, particularly in terms of cost efficiency and punctuality, can increase student interest in using public transport, thereby supporting a more sustainable transportation system.

Abstract

Pengembangan Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Fase IV koridor Fatmawati–Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) merupakan bagian dari upaya penguatan sistem transportasi massal terintegrasi di wilayah selatan–timur Jakarta yang terus mengalami peningkatan mobilitas akibat pertumbuhan kawasan perkotaan dan aktivitas regional. Namun, perbedaan hasil proyeksi pada berbagai studi terdahulu menunjukkan adanya ketidakpastian dalam peramalan permintaan transportasi, terutama terkait asumsi pertumbuhan pergerakan, integrasi jaringan, dan proses kalibrasi model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proyeksi permintaan transportasi pada koridor MRT Fatmawati–TMII melalui analisis komparatif beberapa studi pemodelan transportasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan evaluatif dan komparatif dengan memanfaatkan data survei primer, basis data transportasi sekunder, serta telaah hasil studi sebelumnya. Analisis difokuskan pada indikator jumlah penumpang harian (daily ridership) dan Peak Passenger per Hour per Direction (PPHPD) untuk menilai kebutuhan kapasitas sistem dan konsistensi proyeksi permintaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya variasi estimasi yang signifikan antar-skenario. Model konsorsium memperkirakan jumlah penumpang sebesar 97.340 penumpang per hari pada tahun 2030 dan 158.350 penumpang per hari pada tahun 2050, sedangkan hasil analisis konsultan menunjukkan nilai yang lebih tinggi, yaitu 190.075 dan 264.278 penumpang per hari. Studi RIPP DKI Jakarta merepresentasikan skenario paling optimistis dengan nilai PPHPD mencapai 24.000 penumpang per jam per arah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perencanaan MRT memerlukan pendekatan evaluasi multi-skenario untuk meningkatkan keandalan proyeksi permintaan.
