Abstract

Nitrogen (N) is one of the essential nutrients needed for the growth of rice plants. Therefore, N fertilizing must be applied efficiently to achieve optimal results. Various methods have been used to calculate the N content in rice plants, such as tissue analysis and the use of Soil Plant Analysis Development (SPAD) technology. This technology still has lack of time efficiency. Other technologies are needed to quickly support precise agricultural analysis, such as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). This study aimed to analyze the N content of rice crop using the UAV-based vegetation index and to compare the measurement of N content accuracy between SPAD chlorophyll and rice plant vegetation index. This study used survey methods and laboratory tests based on several approaches, namely analysis of photosynthesis physiology, leaves tissue analysis, and vegetation index using UAV. Based on the research results, it was found that the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index value had a strong correlation with N content of leaves tissue ​​and SPAD chlorophyll. While the results of the accuracy test, the results of chlorophyll with SPAD (CI A) have better accuracy than the NDVI vegetation index. The r value between CI A – N leaves and NDVI – N leaves did not show a significant difference. In addition, the correlation results show that N content of leaves (r=0.83), CI A (r=0.88), CI B (r=81), and CI TOT (r=0.87) have a very high correlation with NDVI. This shows a unidirectional relationship between variables so that the NDVI variable can be used as a consideration to determine chlorophyll in the plants studied.

Abstract

Peningkatan konsumsi tomat semakin meningkat, namun produksi tomat masih lebih rendah dari potensi produksinya. Salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan produksi tomat dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan varietas unggul yang dapat beradaptasi baik dengan lingkungannya dan berproduksi tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengujian lanjutan beberapa galur hasil persilangan Karina x Mawar terhadap karakter pertumbuhan dan produksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Hasanuddin sejak bulan April hingga Juli 2023. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu, galur hasil persilangan Karina x Mawar yang memberikan produksi terbaik adalah KM 69.6.8 (g8) dengan rata-rata produksi 1858.83 g dan berbeda nyata dengan kedua tetuanya, karakter yang memiliki nilai heritabilitas tinggi, yaitu karakter tinggi tanaman, tinggi dikotomus, jumlah cabang, umur berbunga, umur panen, jumlah tandan berbuah, jumlah buah total, panjang buah, diameter buah, bobot buah, jumlah biji perbuah dan produksi, serta terdapat 4 karakter yang berkorelasi positif nyata terhadap produksi, yaitu karakter tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, jumlah bunga pertandan dan jumlah tandan berbuah. The increase in tomato consumption is increasing, but tomato production is still lower than its production potential. One effort to increase tomato production can be done by using superior varieties that can adapt well to their environment and produce high yields. This research aims to carry out further testing of several lines resulting from the Karina x Mawar cross on growth and production characteristics. The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University from April to July 2023. The results obtained were, the line resulting from the Karina x Mawar cross that gave the best production was KM 69.6.8 (g8) with an average production of 1858.83 g and was significantly different from the two parents, characters that have high heritability values, namely plant height, dichotomous height, number of branches, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit bunches, total number of fruit, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight, number of seeds per fruit and production, and there are 4 characters that have a real positive correlation with production, namely plant height, number of branches, number of flower bunches and number of fruit bunches.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui interaksi antara varietas dengan paket pemupukan yang memberikan produktivitas berbasis IoT, mengetahui varietas yang memberikan produktivitas tinggi untuk setiap paket pemupukan berbasis IoT, mengetahui paket pemupukan yang memberikan produktivitas tinggi untuk setiap varietas berbasis IoT serta mengetahui korelasi antara setiap parameter dengan parameter utama produksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Apala, Kecamatan Barebbo, Kabupaten Bone pada bulan September 2022 hingga Januari 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terpisah dengan petak utama yaitu paket pemupukan NPK = 200:100:100 tanpa kompos, NPK = 150:75:75 + 3 t.ha-1 kompos, dan NPK = 50:25:25 + 5 t.ha-1 kompos sedangkan anak petak adalah varietas Padjajaran, Cakrabuana, Inpari 13, Inpari 19, M70D, dan Inpari 32. Interaksi antara paket pemupukan NPK = 200:100:100 tanpa kompos dengan varietas Inpari 32 (P1V6) memberikan produktivitas terbaik yaitu dengan rata-rata 7.89 ton ha-1 dengan nilai NDVI 0.58. Varietas yang memiliki produktivitas tertinggi yaitu Inpari 32 (V6) dengan rerataan 7.11 ton ha-1 yang memiliki nilai NDVI 0.568. Pada varietas genjah, Inpari 13 (V3) memberikan produktivitas tertinggi dengan rerataan 6.68 ton ha-1 sedangkan nilai rerataan NDVI-nya adalah 0.542. Paket pemupukan dengan produktivitas terbaik adalah NPK = 150:75:75 + 3 t.ha-1 kompos (P2) dengan rerataan 6.11 ton ha-1 sedangan nilai NDVI yang dihasilkan yaitu 0.552. Karakter tanaman yang memiliki korelasi positif dengan produksi adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif, umur berbunga, umur panen, klorofil a, klorofil b, klorofil total, jumlah cabang, total gabah permalai, persentase gabah berisi permalai, panjang daun bendera, lebar daun bendera, bobot 1000 biji, produksi per rumpun dan NDVI. The research aims to determine the interaction between varieties and fertilization packages that provide IoT-based productivity, determine varieties that provide high productivity for each IoT-based fertilization package, determine fertilization packages that provide high productivity for each IoT-based variety and determine the correlation between each parameter with the main parameters of production.
