Abstract

Pegawai Inspektorat Kabupaten Aceh Timur sebagai aparat pengawas internal pemerintah mempunyai tugas pokok melakukan pengawasan dan pembinaan diseluruh instansi dilingkungan pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Institusi pengawasan  diharapkan dapat menjadi  detektor dini untuk mengetahui terjadinya  penyimpangan dalam pelaksanaan tugas dilingkungan pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Walaupun Inspektorat tidak secara langsung melayani masyarakat namun peran Inspektorat sangat diharapkan masyarakat dalam memberikan melakukan pembinaan dan usaha mengurangi praktek-praktek KKN dilingkungan pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Timur.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaiamana hubungan atara pendidikan, motivasi dan budaya kerja dengan kinerja pegawai Inspektorat Kabupaten Aceh Timur .Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara pendidikan dengan kinerja pegawai Inspektorat Kabupaten Aceh Timur adalah tidak signifikan.

Abstract

The article will discuss various viewpoints on the issues affecting women in Islam, and how they influence the views regarding women education. Their views generally can be divided into conservative, progressive and philosophical. All these views, in general, regard that like men, women are obliged to search for knowledge. In Indonesia, since the 19th century, women have already been involved in learning religion. However, for some cultural reasons, in this period, the access for women to modern education was still limited. On the other hand, from the 20th century up to now, like male Muslims, Indonesian female Muslim have more opportunies in education. Moreover, the symbolic-philosophy of complementary relations between male and female can also become an alternative to conservative or liberal philosophy of education

Abstract

Book Review: Ahmad Baso, NU Studies: Pergolakan Pemikiran antara Fundamentalisme Islam dan Fundamentalisme Neo-Liberal (Jakarta: Erlangga, 2006), 510 halaman + xxi.Although this book is entitled NU Studies, which gives one the impression that it constitutes an academic study about the ideological developments within NU, it is in fact more so an effort on the part of the author to advocate and strengthen his own position and opinions against those who hold opposing ideas, be they within NU or outside of the organization. As a result of this aim, it's not surprising that many contradictions and inconsistencies have made their way into the book. This is mainly because the author has employed a strategy of rejecting ideas from his opposition, often without basis, whilst promoting his own views which he considers to be appropriate with the ideology of Ahlussunnah Waljamaah as held by NU.DOI: 10.15408/sdi.v13i3.564

Abstract

Tulisan ini berawal dari persoalan tiga masalah yakni komitmen PTAI pada agama Islam sebagai dasar normatif bagi pendidikan yang dilaksanakannya di satu sisi, dan keharusannya untuk tanggap terhadap dinamika perubahan sosial, budaya, politik dan ekonomi di masyarakat di sisi lain. Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the reasons behind the need for the transformation of the Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Antasari into a State Islamic University (UIN). By analyzing the history of education in Indonesia in terms of tensions between Western (general) education and Islamic education, the paper argues that the transformation is a historical necessity. The transformation should be directed (1) to integrate general knowledge and Islamic knowledge in the university education system; (2) to respond to the social changes in contemporary society, especially the high variety of job markets, which demand professionalism; (3) to be the source of moral and spiritual guidance for society, and (4) to open much more opportunity for people, especially those of the lower class, to have a tertiary education. Abstak  Makalah ini mendiskusikan alasan-alasan di balik kebutuhan tranformasi IAIN Antasari menjadi UIN. Dengan melakukan analisis sejarah tentang ketegangan antara sistem pendidikan Barat (umum) dan pendidikan Islam, makalah ini menunjukkan bahwa transformasi tersebut adalah suatu keharusan sejarah. Transformasi itu harus diarahkan untuk (1) mengintegrasikan pengetahuan umum dengan pengetahuan Islam dalam sistem pendidikan di universitas; (2) menanggapi perubahan-perubahan sosial dalam masyarakat kekinian, khususnya tingginya keragaman lapangan kerja, yang menuntut profesionalisme; (3) menjadi sumber bimbingan moral dan spiritual masyarakat; dan (4) membuka kesempatan yang lebih luas bagi masyarakat, khususnya mereka yang dari kelas bawah, untuk mendapatkan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This research is field research aiming to describe the use of slang among teenagers in Pidie. The method used was descriptive-analytical. The data came from Acehnese-speaking teenagers from various social environments in Pidie, Aceh. Data collection was carried out using uninvolved conversation, interviews with inducement technique, recording and note-taking techniques. The data were then analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques that consisted of several stages, namely selecting, identifying, classifying, reducing, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that teenagers in Pidie use several types of slang: (a) basic word slang, (b) affix, (c) reduplicated slang, (d) abbreviated slang, (e) slang of crosses, (f) reversal, (g) slang from foreign languages, (h) slang resembling a foreign language, (i) euphemism slang, (j) dysphemism slang, (k) code-mixing slang, (l) pun slang, and (m) crossbred slang. Keywords: slang language, slang use, forms of slang, teenagers.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pendampingan sertifkasi halal pada produk olahan perikanan penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan nilai produk dan menambah daya tarik konsumen. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memfasilitasi pelaku usaha memperoleh Sertifikat Halal atas produk yang dihasilkan dan dipasarkan. Dengan menerapkan metode RRA (Rapid Rural Apraisal) dimana pengabdi dan pelaku usaha serta stakeholder secara bersama-sama berkolaborasi untuk memberikan pera masing-masing yang dibagi kedalam empat tahapan yaitu pemetaan desa sasaran, analisis situasi, alternatif pemecahan masalah, dan pelibatan pihak terkait serta peran yang diharapkan. Hasil pengadian yang diharapkan telah berhasil dengan baik ditandai dengan telah diterbitkannya Sertifikat Halal kepada pelaku usaha olahan perikanan yang didampingi pengabdi oleh LPPOM MPU Aceh sekaligus hasil ini dalam rangka mendukung Industri Halal di Kota Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penambahan pegagan terhadap kualitas sosis yang terdiri atas kadar air, kadar protein, kadar abu, kadar karbohidrat. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) perlakuan yaitu P0 = tanpa penambahan ekstrak pegagan (0%), P1 = penambahan ekstrak pegagan (5%), P2 = penambahan ekstrak pegagan (10%), dan P3 = penambahan ekstrak pegagan (15%). Parameter kualitas yang diamati adalah kadar air, kadar abu, kadar protein, dan kadar karbohidrat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), dan jika terdapat perbedaan antar perlakuan dilakukan Uji Lanjut Berganda Duncan. Penambahan esktrak pegagan pada sosis daging sapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai kadar abu, protein dan karbohidrat, namun berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap nilai kadar air, dengan nilai terbaik terdapat pada P2 (penambahan ekstrak pegagan 10%) menghasilkan kadar air terrendah yaitu 34.56 %. Kesimpulannya penambahan ekstrak pegaganan pada sosis menyebabkan perubahan kadar protein dan  kadar abu. Kualitas sosis daging sapi dengan  penambahan ekstrak pegaganan memenuhi syarat mutu sosis berdasarkan SNI.

Abstract

Counseling is assistance services for students both individually and in groups so that they are independent and develop optimally, in personal guidance, social guidance, study guidance, and career guidance, through various types of services and support activities, based on applicable norms. This study aimed to find out the advice and counseling services at schools, to know the direction and counseling service procedures, and to find out what problems students have and how to solve the issues. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, a method that utilizes qualitative data and is described descriptively. The results of this study are that there are guidance and counseling services for partner schools, which are SDIT Imam Asy-Syafi'i Mataram, MTs Al-Madaniyah, and MTs An-Najah, Indonesia. The issues that arise are that students have difficulty speaking using Arabic, students mishear Arabic utterances because of improper pronunciation, students feel bored in learning because it is difficult to understand, students find it challenging to practice Arabic vocabulary because their original accent is very attached and difficult to change, students have difficulty reading Arabic texts because they do not understand the text and are not fluent in reading Arabic texts, students have problem writing because they are not used to writing Arabic letters. The direction of writing is from right to left because they are used to writing from left to right. Students also often feel shy and insecure when reading Arabic texts or practicing Arabic sentences in front of many people because they fear being wrong. The procedures carried out by the teachers include providing appropriate learning materials to students, providing lots of Arabic practice in learning Arabic, practicing reading aloud to overcome obstacles to reading skills, speaking, and embarrassment in mentioning Arabic sentences. The reading practice also makes it hard to overcome problems with the articulation of words and makes students fluent in pronouncing Arabic sentences. Problems learning Arabic and other issues can be appropriately handled in various ways and methods according to the difficulties experienced by students.
