Abstract

Islamic philosophy, which has been an accumulation of relation between pure logic and religious texts (naql), has a uniquely different features from the philosophy of Aristotle. This is because the Islamic philosophy has met not only with the pre-Islamic sciences but it also has thoroughly interacted with various branches of the Islamic knowledge such as theology, taṣawwuf, uṣûl al-fiqh, and târîkh al-tashrîʻ. The interaction has resulted in numerous different thoughts within the Islamic philosophy itself as can be identified among the peripatetic Islamic philosophers. The article is intended to describe that in discussing cosmological matter, the majority of these philosophers put emphasis on Plotinus’s concept of emanation. However, the concept has led to distinctively diverse schools of philosophy in Islam. The study finds that the philoso-phers with strong background of scientific disciplines produced considerably different thought of emanation from those with strong background of Islamic knowledge. The first school consists of scientists-philosophers affiliated to the thought of Pythagoras, Plato, and Aristotle though with new concepts they proposed. The second school comprises Sufi-philosophers whose concepts have been strongly influenced by intuition though there have been conceptual differences based on their spiritual experiences.

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out the obstacles that cause the implementation of Gerbang Salam is not optimal and how to make a formulation for optimizing this movement. This research is focused more on the theory of functionalism in the perspective of Talcott Person and Robert K. Merton. From Parson will be taken the theory of AGIL (adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latent). And from Robert K. Merton will be taken theory of a thought of functions, dysfunctions, manifest functions and latent functions.Through AGIL analysis is known that the social system built on Islamic values has lost its balance. That is because these parts have experienced the dysfunctions, especially in the function of goal attainment and integration. So that the implementation of Gerbang Salam does not work optimally.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Term radikalisme agama merupakan pembahasan yang sensitif dan dinilai berpotensi mendiskreditkan kelompok tertentu. Di kalangan pemikir belum ada kesepatan terminologis tentang radikalisme agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari tahu bagaimana sikap ormas-ormas Islam lokal di Pamekasan terhadap radikalisme agama. Peneliti memfokuskan objek penelitian pada ormas-ormas Islam lokal di Pamekasan yaitu NU, Muhammadiyah, SI, Persis, Hidayatullah, dan FPI. Dengan metode kualitatif, data diambil melalui wawancara secara terstruktur terhadap sample yang diambil dari ormas, baik secara acak atau secara kolektif. Hasilnya, sikap ormas tersebut dapat dipahami dalam tiga komponen, yaitu kognitif, afektif, dan konasi. Secara kognitif, ormas-ormas tersebut memberikan pandangan yang berbeda-beda tentang term radikalisme agama. Ada yang mendefinisikan dengan jelas, baik secara luas maupun sempit. Ada yang tidak memberikan definisinya. Secara afektif, mayoritas menganggap persoalan ini sebagai isu dan stigma sehingga mayoritas mereka tidak setuju dengan term radikalisme agama. Dan secara konasi semua ormas Islam mengambil peran dalam menghadapi persoalan tersebut meski dengan intensitas yang berbeda. Kata Kunci: Sikap ormas, radikalisme ABSRACT The term religious radicalism is a sensitive discussion and is considered to have the potential to discredit certain groups. There is no terminological agreement among thinkers about religious radicalism. This study aims to find out how the attitudes of local Islamic organizations in Pamekasan towards religious radicalism. Researchers focused on the object of research on local Islamic organizations in Pamekasan, namely NU, Muhammadiyah, SI (Syarikat Islam), Persis, Hidayatullah, and FPI. With a qualitative method, data were collected through structured interviews with samples taken from mass organizations, either randomly or collectively. The planned output is an accredited national journal, while the additional quotation is just books.As a result, the attitudes of these organizations can be understood in terms of three components, namely cognitive, affective, and conative. Cognitively, these mass organizations provide different views on the term religious radicalism. There are those who define it clearly, both broadly and narrowly. Some didn't give the definition. Affectively, the majority considered this issue as an issue and a stigma so that the majority of them did not agree with religious radicalism. And conventionally all Islamic mass organizations take a role in dealing with these problems even though with different intensities. Keywords: the attitude of local Islamic organization, Radicalism

Abstract

Radikalisme telah jadi objek yang ramai dibahas dalam kajian, terutama pasca peristiwa 11 september 2001 di Amerika serikat. Sebuah fenomena baru yang mengarah pada dunia Islam muncul yang disebut dengan terorisme dan fenomena-fenomena yang melatar belakanginya disebut radikalisme. Antara definisi istilah ini dengan apa saja fenomenanya masih abstrak. Sehingga banyak publik terjebak dalam opini yang keliru dalam memahami radikalisme. Selain karena term yang ambigu, radikalisme dipakai untuk menunjuk fenomena tanpa melihat bagamana konsep yang sebanarnya. Bahkan bergeser dari suatu fenomena ke fenomena lain yang dihasilkan dari pandangan secara subjektif. Disini pemahaman banyak orang menjadi simpang siur. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode library research, untuk menelusuri akar istilah dan sejarah penggunaannya dengan menelusuri sumber terkait, baik sumber primer maupun sekunder. Sumber primernya berupa buku yang secara langsung membahas terminologi radikalisme, dan data sekunder berupa sumber pendukung seperti jurnal yang relevan dan fenomena-fenomenanya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan historis, data kemudian diolah dan dianalisis sehingga menghasilkan kesimpulan. Hasilnya, terdapat makna dasar dan konsep penggunaannya dalam sejarah yang terus mengalami perkembangan dan pergeseran. Pada akhirnya radikalisme dapat dilihat konsep terminologisnya dalam fenomena keagamaan yang bisa berbeda dengan fenomena negara, khususnya Indonesia. Sehingga radikal dalam fenomena keagamaan belum tentu radikal dalam fenomena kenegaraan, dan sebaliknya. Namun bisa saja keduanya bersamaan.

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai media internalisasi dan sosialisasi masih dinilai belum sukses untuk memanusiakan manusia selama ini. Indikasinya adalah fenomena dehumanisasi dengan munculnya sejumlah problem sosial kemanusian seperti dekadensi moral, kriminalitas, dan lain-lain yang banyak dilakukan oleh orang-orang yang berpendidikan. Maka dalam rangka ini sistem pendidikan telah melakukan banyak pendekatan untuk menyentuh aspek-aspek yang dinilai paling efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Namun banyak di antaranya masih menggunakan pendekatan yang beroreintasi pada aspek intelektual. Bahwa keberhasilan seseorang dalam pendidikan hanya diukur dengan bagaimana kemampuan intelektualnya sehingga seringkali mengabaikan aspek lain yang justeru lebih penting. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari aspek lain yang lebih penting itu. Maka melalui paradigma Ibnu ‘Arabi>> tentang “insan kamil” ditemukan kesimpulan bahwa manusia memiliki struktur ontologis dan epistemologis yang pangkalnya adalah qolb (hati atau jiwa) sebagai sentral sikap dan kemauan manusia. Sehingga dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan tasawuf dapat menjadi pendekatan yang paling efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Education as internalization and socialization media is still considered as unsuccessful for humanizing human during this period. The indication is the fenomenon of dehumanization indicated by the emergence of a number of social and humanitarian problems such as moral decadence, crime, and others that were often commetted by educated people. So based and this case, the education system has a lot of approacshes to touch many aspect considered the most effective in achieving educational goals. But many of them are still using an approach oriented on the intellectual capabilities that neglect other aspect that is more important. This research study is to look for other  aspects that rely on more important. Namely through the paradigm of Ibnu ‘Arabi> boat perpect man (insan kami) which he found conclusion that man has an ontological and epistemological structure  which the source is Qolb (heart/soul) as the central attitudes and human will. Thus it can be concluded that education of Sufism may be the most effective approach in achieving educational goals.

Abstract

Seorang hamba yang di dalamnya memiliki dimensi Malakuut dan dimensi Iblis tidak akan luput dari kesalahan. Oleh karena itu dia dianjurkan bertaubat dengan memperbanyak baca istighfar dan harus mempunyai tekat untuk tidak kembali lagi melakukan kesalahan tersebut. Istighfar adalah salah satu sarana seorang hamba dalam memohon ampun kepada Allah (Tuhan semesta alam) dari segala perbuatan jelek yang ia kerjakan. Selain itu, membaca istighfar juga berarti memohon pertolongan untuk dijauhi dari perbuatan jelek dimasa yang akan datang. istighfar adalah suatu perkara yang sangat istimewa yang diberikan oleh Allah SWT kepada hamba-hamba-Nya, supaya mereka termotivasi melakukan kebaikan dan kembali ke jalan yang benar. Oleh karena itu, dalam artikel ini penulis mencoba meneliti dan mengumpulkan ayat-ayat yang menjelaskan tentang istighfar, mulai dari pengertiannya, syarat-syaratnya, macam-macamnya, dan hikmah memperbanyak membacanya.

Abstract

Digital Village or Smart Village is applying ICT based on Big Data and Smart Systems to make village resource management more efficient. However, the implementation of Digital Village in Durbuk Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency, East Java, experienced two main problems, namely (1) the weakness of the village asset management system and (2) the weakness of village apparatus human resources in managing village assets. This community service activity has two main objectives: (1) to build a digital village asset information system based on the Geographical Information System (GIS) and to strengthen technical village officials in digital-based village asset management. Seven steps of the community service method take, namely, (1)Identification of problems, (2)Community Service Planning, (3)Coordination with Partners, (4)Digital Asset Map Creation and SIAD Application, (5)Socialization, Forum Group Discussion and SIAD Workshop, (6)Writing Modules and Books for Digitizing GIS-based Durbuk Village Assets, and (7)Implementation of Community Service Results in Seminar. This activity produced three research outputs, namely (1)digital village asset maps, (2)GIS-based digital Application software for the village asset information system, and (3)monograph modules/books on digitizing village assets GIS-based. This community service activity is expected to significantly contribute to village officials managing digital assets with the help of GIS spatial technology

Abstract

The 19th century AD was the beginning of the rise of the modern Islamic movement in Indonesia. One of them is the movement of the Padri in West Sumatra which has had a lot of influence on Islamic renewal in Indonesia, especially in West Sumatra. The research method in this study used a literature review or library research approach and the sources of research were several libraries that the researcher considered had a relationship with the research theme which was then reduced so that they became a feasible research source. The findings of this study are that Islamic teachings in Indonesia brought by Islamic propagators have taken the form of doctrines that are exclusive to one school of thought, and most of them adhere to the Shafi'i school of fiqh, and Asy'ariyah in theology. On the other hand, traditions passed down from previous ancestors who were born from Hindu-Buddhist teachings still dominate strongly in people's lives. So this paper analyzes the Padri starting from their movements and reforming ideas in the midst of this social context. The implications of the research show that people come to understand that the Padri movement has made a positive contribution to the renewal of Islamic thought in Indonesia, more specifically in West Sumatra.

Abstract

The presence of Islam among humans has been going on for more than fourteen centuries. During that time Islam has been contributing to the dynamics of human progress. But Islam is also often contrasted with culture. Islam is considered to have originated from Arab so that Islam is not opened up by other culture. This paper will try to provide a dialectical analysis of answers between Islam and culture through theological, historical and philosophical approaches. That ontologically and epistemologically, Islam is a doctrine that originates from revelation, while culture is the embodiment of work, creativity and taste that originates from human reason. Islam as a religion is presented to humans so that they experience assimilation contact with Arabic culture at first and then with other cultures. But Islam is not synonymous with Arabic culture. The two can still be distinguished, although they cannot be separated. Because comprehending Islam must go through Arabic as the language of revelation and its social context. However, Islam accepts the plurality of cultures so that it can be present and accepted in all human cultures because Islam is presented for all human beings.

Abstract

Socializing with the Qur'an is a valuable experience for a Muslim. The experience of socializing with the Qur'an can be revealed through speech, writing, or actions. Moreover, the Al-Qur'an is a guide for the life of Muslims that was born from the word of Allah SWT. As a holy book that contains His word, of course, Muslims respect and highly respect the Qur'an. From this description, the author will describe several ethics in socializing with the Qur'an, both those described in the Qur'an, Hadith and the opinions of the scholars. This type of research is library research (library research), the author seeks to collect data concerning the ethics of socializing with the Qur'an which concerns the importance of respecting or glorifying the Qur'an. From the results of research that has been carried out on the ethical theme of socializing with the Qur'an, including: Having a sincere intention to worship Allah SWT, Cleaning the mouth, Reading the Qur'an in Purified Condition, Clean place, Facing Qibla, Starting Qiraah with Reciting Ta'awudz, Beginning the Surah with Basmalah, Mentadabburi Verses, Reading the Qur'an with tartil, Not allowed to read the Al-Qur'an in a language other than Arabic, Read the Al-Qur'an in the order of the Mushaf, Read the Al-Qur'an 'an by looking at the Mushaf, it is sunnah to pray when completing the Qur'an with good prayers, placing the Qur'an in a proper and high place, and many other ethics that have not been mentioned in this article.
